Solar Block Glass Tinting

UPDATE: So I was so happy with the work Solar Block did that I decided to have them come out and do my sliding glass doors, kitchen window and a spare bedroom window. I know, you probably think i’ve gone tint crazy. but I recently noticed (after getting a huge electric bill in the mail) that my kitchen and dining room were heating up in the afternoon –when the sun started setting each day it would come through the sliding glass doors onto the floor. My AC was kicking on and running but the room was never really cooling off, so I decided to get the sliding glass doors tinted since the tint seemed to help so much when we did it in the Family Room. I was worried that my dogs might scratch it up though because they sometimes jump on the glass doors. So I asked if there was something we could do to keep my dogs from scratching up the film on the sliding glass doors and they told me there was. They said they could put some sort of protective film over the tinted film so when my dogs jump up it won’t scratch the tint. They installed two layers, the tint and the clear protective layer. I can’t even see the clear protective layer but it’s so great it’s there! I’m pretty sure that will last for many years. Already my kitchen and dining room seem cooler, and there is way less glare. The spare room faces the same direction and so i decided to do it too. They were super professional, and cleaned up after themselves and were friendly too. I definitely recommend these guys, I couldn’t be happier.

The whole process from first call to installation was fast and easy. Money is tight at times and a luxury like this takes some thinking but the difference it has made is so worth it.
I can only speak for myself in that if I needed tinting for a home or business, I would refer them.
