Had an inspection done on my car– the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I recently bought my car and the mechanics went the extra mile to see if there were any outstanding issues or concerns to voice to my dealer.
I also met the owner! Very nice man with a great personality. I will continue to support and bring my car to this location for any routine services, etc.

I’m sorry. this place far exceeded my expectations as a repair shop. They are terribly friendly and very efficient. They have always been great to me and had any repairs done in minimal time and at a reasonable price. I had many oil changes done here too. I was skeptical at first, but I really like these guys now. :) I highly recommend this shop!

Mike and his team are just plain awesome. We’ve been going there for years. I have a ’99 Corolla that I just want to keep safe and running, so if you’re looking for honest pragmatic advice, this is the place. I can’t thank them enough for dealing with our insurance company, who dragged their feet for weeks on a claim. (Don’t get me started about Arbella, horrible company.) Mike was patient throughout the entire process and even refused a tip! My pride was hurt :), but once again I was thoroughly impressed with their integrity. Keep up the great work!

Super nice guys here. As the law abiding, ticket hating citizen of the State of Massachusetts, I spent a few minutes of my day having my car inspected. I realized that it was impractical for me to continue to avoid public parking areas for fear of being caught with an expired inspection. Also of note, this is only my second state inspection. It took me WAY too long to realize what the numbers on the inspection stickers mean. Turns out that the 3 stands for MARCH.
These guys were quick, they were nice, they were even funny. They also did something that the first guys who inspected my car didn’t: they explained the inspection sticker to me, and gave me my report and told me to keep it in my glovebox. THANKS GUYS. Totally pleasant experience, that I was completely avoiding.

Went there for the car inspection. One of the members of the staff got the keys and gave to his coworker. The other turned on the car and because there was noise in the muffler, told me right away that my car would receive a Rejected sticker and I would not be able to drive the car. He also asked me the year the car was made.
They took the car in and did not look at me anymore or said anything. It was very cold out so I thought of going in to wait for their ‘assessment’ inside.
Another customer arrived and had her inspection done in 5 minutes. They were talking to each other in another language and an employee brought a new muffler which I suspected it was for my car (the only car in the garage at the time).
The man came to me and said again that the car would be rejected and I would not be able to drive the car or to park it outside on the street because I would receive a ticket. When he left I checked the information online and saw That drivers have 60 days to have the car fixed.
There was so much pressure to have the whole muffler system replacement done by them, that this attitude plus their lack of good manners made me feel very uncomfortable.
After I told them three times that I had a doctor’s appointment and did not want to see the bottom of the car while lifted, I was shown a quote of 800.00.
I was getting nervous by them, because the man told me again (!!!) that I wouldn’t be able to drive because of the sticker.
I will now take the car to a place I trust and have it fixed for way lower than the price I was given in the quote.
No, I do not recommend this place, unfortunately. The whole thing was a disaster.

i was going to have them fix my car, turned out what i needed done was still covered under warranty. so when the tow truck went to go get my car, these guys took my car key and snapped it, cause they were pissed i did not use them.

Have had these guys work on my car a few times — registration, oil change, tire change, fix a headlight, nothing major — and they are always quick and professional. They make sure to keep me in the loop and confirm work before they start. Awesome!

Love these guys. I’m so terrible at making appointments, its never even something that occurs to me. I usually pull up when I’m passing by and ask if they have time for an oil change or when might be a good time and they’ve always taken me right away. I went there the other day because my back right blinker was out and whenever I put on my right blinker it was like «clikaclikaclikaclikaclika» instead of «clack.clack.clack», which is unsettling, but I’ve only ever changed these things myself with my friends and you never know how much these car things will cost or how long it will take to do them, so I was putting it off. Pulled in here to ask about it and the guy says «$ 250, we can do it right now.» That guy loves to mess with me. I was like «No really.» and he’s like «$ 10, we can do it right now.» I had to get to work soon and they did it right then with time to spare. Another reviewer said the guy reminded her of a Seinfeld character and I’ve always thought the same, lol. I also went in once because something under my car was squeaky and both my mom and boyfriend always mention it when they’re in my car. It sounded fine to me, but I finally brought it in and they took me right away, got the car up on the giant jack thing and commenced shoving it around and searching for the noise. It ended up being some curve of pipe that was supposed to be secured but the attachment was rusted away and it was bouncing around a bit. They put a clamp on it and it was so cheap I can’t recall whether they charged me at all. Yay, love it here,

These guys are great for the MA State Inspection stickers. I’ve gone two years in a row and they’ve been super nice and speedy (no appointment necessary, either). Recommended!

These guys are awesome! They’re fast, honest and reliable! I would definitely recommend especially if you are a female who wants to go somewhere and not worry about being taken advantage of! While you’re there, say what’s up to Keenan and the guys for me! Tell them I sent you ;)

I called to see if I needed an appointment to get my car inspected and the gentleman who answered the phone was very pleasant and said that no appointment was necessary. I drove over a few hours later and was helped immediately. I interacted with 3 different men while there and they were all very nice to deal with. I dropped my car off for an inspection but at the last minute I asked if they would also change my oil. They said no problem and recommended I grab a coffee. By the time I walked down to the Dunkin’ Donuts and back to the Sunoco (the line was pretty long for coffee) my car was already taken care of. I was gone maybe 20−25minutes. Quick service, pleasant people, AND A GREAT PRICE!

I have to admit, I did not come here for anything life altering – just a flat tire and an oil change. After calling around to five other shops before this, the man who answered the phone was by far the friendliest and as luck would have it also quoted the lowest prices. I was told I did not need an appointment, which he explained was standard for work that does not require parts, I showed up the following day and was in and out within an hour. Unfortunately for me, the problem with my tire was sensor related, however, the mechanic took the time to show me what the problem was, gave me the pros and cons of potential solutions, and let me choose how I wanted to address the problem.

My car was making a really interesting noise and wanted it to get checked out. I dislike going to mechanics because I feel they see me as a bag of money.
My fiancé goes to this place to get his car fixed so I thought I give it a shot. I just love the family that runs this place. The guy behind the counter reminds me of a character on Seinfeld. They tighten something in my engine and my car is good as new. When I was waiting for my car they did 4 state inspections. I decided I will probably go to them when I need to get my car inspected again.
I also like the price of gas at this place.

Pretty quick for inspection, only had to wait about 15 minutes. Guy behind counter (Keenan) was nice. I told him I had a Volvo and he jokingly said «well so then you pay double.»

I went here for a state inspection and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. The mechanics were friendly both with me and with another guy there having his muffler looked at. I’ll definitely go back for my next inspection.

In the time it takes you to finish reading this review, these guys inspected my whip.

Swedish Fish for a buck! Check the expiry. They have gas, too; it pumps like whoa.

i love mel and the guys! we take both our cars to them and are always happy with the results. when i was buying my current used car, mel looked at if for me and even drove around with me to check it out — no charge. another time he saved me a bundle by patching a tire instead of telling me i needed a new one.
i won’t go anywhere else!

I’ve been here twice now, and both times have found the person working behind the counter to be really rude. The first time I went in, it was for an insurance inspection and a state inspection for my car. (I just moved it up here from Virginia.) When I asked about having the insurance inspection done, the man behind the counter said that I had to come back later in the day, and that I was too early to request those services. The place was definitely open, there was nobody else in line, and there were a few mechanics working on projects in the garage. After a brief conversation, the attendant finally relented and took care of both things in a timely manner.
Unfortunately, I received a card in the mail from my insurance company saying that the photos taken for the insurance inspection were inadequate and had to be retaken as soon as possible. When I brought the car back, the very same attendant gave me a hard time AGAIN. He asked if I could leave the car there for 2 – 3 HOURS. I said absolutely not, and he proceeded to ask me why!!! Again, he relented, but this time in a very disgruntled way, muttering «Too much, too much, too much,» on his way out to my car. I’ll never go here for anything, ever again.

Took my car here for a state inspection, knowing that I’d fail b/​c the check engine light was on, but needing a 60 day pass to get it fixed. They were very matter of fact about the light„ what needed to be fixed, gave a quick estimate to fix it. No pressure, no hard sell.
The next day the light went off by itself (Toyota Corolla, I’m told this happens) so I went back to get it re-​inspected. They asked if I’d gotten it fixed, I said no but I wanted it tested anyway. They tested right away and I passed. A rare and welcome happy ending to a trip to the car repair shop.
