Illuminata is great, she is extremely reliable and cares for my dogs like her own. She makes scheduling easy and is very flexible with last minute changes.

I have used Luvable Leashes for almost two and a half years now and have nothing but wonderful things to say about Illuminata and Theresa! I have 2 older cats who require meds and I’ve never had to worry. The cats are mellow and happy when I get home. The price is very reasonable and they always accommodate my ever changing, crazy schedule. I just moved and will miss them terribly! I actually stayed at my old place longer than I would have otherwise because I didn’t want to lose them.

Illuminata is extremely accommodating, reliable. The play groups are great. My dog is tired and happy when he comes back. He loves seeing Illuminata. The walks are extremely reasonable and her pet sitting services are great too!

We have used Luvable Leashes for the past four years and have always found them to provide excellent care for our cat! Many times we have asked with only a few days notice and have never had trouble. Additionally, in the past year we have had several out-​of-​the-​ordinary situations that have required Illuminata to go out of her way to ensure our cat’s safety, and she has gone above expectations taking care of our cat. Communication has always been excellent (usually texts or emails) and we have never had to worry about the well-​being of our cat. We are moving out of the area and sadly will not be able to use Luvable Leashes’ services anymore, but we would highly recommend them to anyone!

I’m not going to lie, I found Luvable Leashes through Unilocal,and it was one of the most successful Unilocal-​inspired ventures yet. We needed someone to check on our two cats over a nearly two week period around the holidays, and Dellaria was wonderful. She came over to meet us prior to our trip, and that took all of five minutes for her to give me some paperwork and go over what she’d need to do when she came. The best part was that she absolutely followed through on all the directions, even the part about using our small vacuum around the litter pans and food dishes, so that the cats wouldn’t track stuff all over our house. Plus, even though I was leaving the country for the second half of my trip, she provided daily updates, often with photos, via text and then email. I never felt that she was out of touch, and she gave me the sense that she would be fine handling any emergency situation that arose.
Even more amazing was her willingness to help me. My original flight to my family’s home in the Midwest was cancelled, and I did not have house keys with me, as my husband and I had left that morning and would be returning together, after I met up with him at his family’s home in Canada. (Always take keys, guys. Lesson learned.) But when I called Dellaria at 7 PM on a Thursday evening after being rerouted back to Boston, she was happy to bring me keys and let me in, even though it was a 35 – 45 minute drive for her. Moreover, she refused to accept payment for it; it was one of the nicest, most considerate gestures I’ve experienced recently.
I was completely happy with Luvable Leashes and my interactions with Dellaria. Their services are very, very reasonably priced, and I always felt that they offered the best of care to the cats (and one can tell if they have been truly ignored… they were both happy and not terribly desperate for attention when we returned, the best sign of a good petsitter). I would recommend Luvable Leashes for any petsitting needs.

Hands down the most amazing pet sitter I have ever met! Illuminata genuinely cares about the well-​being of all our four-​legged friends and will do everything to keep your pets happy and excellently cared for while you are gone!
I asked her to take care of my two cats over the winter holidays and she scheduled with me (free of charge) a meeting prior to my trip to see the cats and learn about detailed care instructions. It was immediately clear that she is doing more than just a job: Illuminata loves animals and treats them accordingly in a loving and sweet way. While making friends with my cats, she made sure we would discuss everything necessary to provide the best care possible and she even offered to collect my mail etc. during my absence. Later, when she took care of the pets, she kept me posted on their well-​being by emailing me a few pictures of my kitties, which was just wonderful!
It was remarkable how clean she kept everything (cats can make a mess, but Illuminata actually kept the food/​water & litter areas immaculate… even though workers were also in my tiny apartment during my absence and I had anticipated finding the entire place dusty, full of cat hair and overall in a far less clean condition). She would also bring the waste from the litter box and empty cans of cat food daily to the dumpster!
Moreover, she would even do these extra nice things to spoil your pets (and to make you feel less awful for leaving them «alone»): E.g., I had asked her to play for my cats each day a different CD to interrupt their daily humdrum (I know how silly this sounds!) Illuminata did not consider it a weird extravagant request, and I could tell by the shuffling of the CD pile upon my return that she must have put on the music as promised. THANKS!
Topping it off: Her prices are more than reasonable. I will definitely call her again as soon as my next trip is coming up and I am recommending her to all my friends. She is simply great and you don’t have to worry about anything: Your pets will be wonderfully cared for!

I’ve used Luvable Leashes in the past and they are the best. I felt completely comfortable leaving my cat in the care of them. I called them sort of last minute — just a few days before I was leaving — and it was no problem. They sent someone over the next night and were very accomodating. Didn’t feel like a burden at all. Illuminata is super nice and friendly and you can tell she is a real animal lover.
I also loved getting an update text message and picture– so cute and such a nice touch!
I reccommend them to everyone I know!

Illuminata is GREAT. I had to leave my little Pomeranian Dora for a weekend, and I honestly could not imagine any way that her experience could have been any better. Illuminata sent me pictures throughout the weekend (which was incredibly reassuring), and when she dropped Dora off it was obvious that the two of them had had a great time together. Both Illuminata and Dora seemed to want to keep spending time with each other!

There is nothing that I would change about Luvable Leashes! Illuminata has been walking Zoe for almost 2 years now and has been absolutely amazing. She is very flexible if I need a last minute walking and is always keeping me updated on when Zoe has been taken out. If there ever is a problem, I am contacted via text message or a phone call to let me know what is going on. Illuminata has an amazing love for the dogs that she walks and it is very visible. I would recommend Luvable Leashes to anyone who needs a dog walker. I was very hesitant at first about trusting my dog with someone else, but I got over that fear very quickly because of their professionalism and true love for dogs. I now can go to work knowing that Zoe is in the best hands possible.

Illuminata has taken excellent care of my dog and cat for 3 years. She has gone above and beyond the call of duty multiple times– working through obstacles such as misplaced keys and missing leashes. I’ve never once been disappointed. My animals love her. I love her. My dog frequently stays with them when I’m out of town and I can tell he is bummed to come home (they have a great set up with a yard and other furry friends– I can’t compete!).
I would recommend them to anyone.

Luvable leashes is the best! Illuminata has been walking and caring for our beloved bulldog for over a year and we couldn’t be happier (and we’re very particular about who we trust with our Stanley)! She has always been extremely professional and reliable – she even made arrangements for a back-​up dog walker when she was injured in a serious accident. She’s come to walk Stanley in rain, wind, snow and ice. She loves our dog as much as we do, and I can tell by how she talks about her other clients how much she loves her job and the animals she takes care of. She always goes above and beyond the call of duty – she brought my children books for Christmas and even saved the day and came to take care of Stanley over a weekend when our son was unexpectedly hospitalized. I would recommend Luvable Leashes to anyone who wants professional, reliable, loving care for their pets.

I went out of town for Christmas and stupidly forgot to make arrangements well in advance for my cat. So I ended up doing an internet search and calling a few places less than a week before I was leaving town. I got a call back from Anna Maria and she wasn’t at all put off by the short notice. I could also tell that she truly loves animals and seems like a very nice person. So important when you’re trusting your furry little friends to someone you just met! Illuminata came by to meet my cat and pick up a key and she was wonderful. My cat usually hides when strangers come in but he came out to see Illuminata and even let her pet him! This made me very comfortable entrusting him to her.
While I was in NYC for Xmas both New York and Boston had a blizzard on the 26^th. Anna Maria called to let me know that the blizzard was predicted and assure me that one of them would stop by to leave enough cat food before the storm hit. Not only that, but she also called back after stopping by the apt. to let me know that she smelled gas in the building and left my window open a crack, so I was able to contact the landlady about the gas leak. Good thing Anna Maria came by!
I’ve used Luvable Leashes again since then and they are very reliable and sweet. I also love that they send texts to let me know how my cat is doing. I definitely recommend them and will use them again!

Bottom line: I’d trust Luvable Leashes to take care of my cat if I were in a bind and needed a sitter. I was somewhat frustrated because their level of professionalism left something to be desired. I was out of town for four days over the holidays and couldn’t find any friends in town to care for my cat, so I called Luvable Leashes. They were great over the phone, and we arranged a time to meet up to acquaint them with the cat. Due to what I truly believe was a complete accident, they missed the meeting– they canceled me, thinking I was someone else. It didn’t bother me that much, and they came by the next day and were very nice, asked thorough questions, and seemed to be real animal people.
Unfortunately Boston had a huge blizzard while I was out of town. They took precautions and left extra food and water the night before, which was good because they weren’t able to make it over to the house to feed the cat the next day. Again, not a huge deal. They kept me updated by text and voicemail, which was reassuring. What bothered me was that when I asked that they be sure to stop by the following day to check in on the cat, they made it sound like it was a big inconvenience (rather than something that I was paying them for), and that they would see what they could do. I just didn’t feel like that was a professional response, or a very reassuring one for a pet owner. The messages that I received also weren’t terrible professional– lots of typos and complaints about how tough the weather was. I don’t have unreasonable expectations, and I believe that the cat was adequately cared for. I just wish that the professionalism had been stepped up a bit. I would recommend them to a friend, especially given the price, but with the caveat that the service isn’t quite top notch. Very friendly though, and the text messages and frequent checking-​ins were a really nice touch. I would call them again if need be.

I’ve used Luvable Leashes several times this year and can’t imagine a better pet-​sitter. I have two cats, one of whom is epileptic and needs daily meds, and another who is young and needs to play. Illuminata has been incredibly sweet to both of them, kept them happy and fed and feeling loved, and I even get text-​message and email updates. It’s tough to leave your pets for long stretches, but this helps a lot!
I also find Luvable Leashes really responsive and quick — you call or email and get an immediate callback — and their rates are fantastic. Highly, highly recommended.

Excellent pet siting service! I have used them many times and each time they deliver professional quality care to my two cats while I am away. I love the updates I get when I am away and they provide piece of mind which is invaluable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pet sitter.
