Evergreen Delivery is such a clever business model. Who wouldn’t want one of Santa’s helpers (dressed in Santa suit) delivering your perfect Christmas tree, wreath and sometimes other related items? In my case it was a traditional door wreath and door holder. I’m from out of town and stumbled upon this website when looking for a way to bring Christmas cheer to my friends. The website is informative and the shop Jimmy pairs with for evergreens is equally friendly and helpful. I was able to email Jimmy with very prompt responses, call the evergreen shop and figure out exactly what I wanted, then pass it along to Jimmy with Evergreen Delivery and voila! My friends have a beautiful wreath. In this time of global warming, I think the bike delivery adds a thoughtful twist. I was able to pay via square (online app). Great business! Check it out.

Jimmy delivered the «Best tree we have had in years» with no mess and easy setup. The whole family had fun and next year we will surely add on the Santa Suit delivery option! I will be using EverGreen Delivery for years to come!

We used EverGreen to deliver our weekly Parker Farms veggie CSA. After we’d missed our CSA for two weeks because of work, this seemed like a really great option. We got our deliveries on time every week. When it was hot, they included ice packs for the produce. And when we had more delicate items (like peaches), they wrapped them separately in their own little bag so they didn’t get jostled around with the rest of the veg. Jimmy (the owner) is really flexible, kind, and dedicated to his business. I can’t recommend them highly enough, and if we’re still in the area next summer, will definitely use them for our CSA deliveries again!

Jimmy is great. He biked a beautiful Christmas tree all the way from Somerville to my North End apartment, and promptly set it all up (all while wearing a Santa suit). I was a little nervous about someone else picking out my tree, but it really is perfect.

Getting a tree from Jimmy was such a great experience. He was quick to respond to my messages to coordinate delivery time and made sure to get all of the details about the type of tree we wanted. The tree itself is perfect! 7′ and round enough to take up most of our living room. Jimmy was professional, friendly and really fun to work with! Where else can you find a man in a Santa suit on a bike delivering Christmas trees? He is working on accepting credit cards, but in the mean time cash or check only — which was fine by me. I love that his business exists and recommend him to others in the Cambridge/​Boston/​Somerville area looking for a memorable tree delivery service!

In 2012 I moved to Somerville with my manpanion. After years of tolerating a fake Christmas tree due to a roommate with allergies, I decided it was high time to get a REAL tree in the house for Christmas. I found out that Ricky’s Flower Market was about a mile down the road, so off I went to pick out a tree.
My plan was to get a small tree that I could carry home myself, but instead I fell in love with a big, fluffy, 7 foot white pine. When I was paying for my tree and trying to figure out the logistics of getting it home (I don’t have a car), I asked if they offered any delivery options to my part of town. «Call Jimmy. He’s got a bike and a trailer,» said Ricky, pointing to a sign with a phone number. One quick, easy phone call later, and I had a scheduled time that Jimmy would be at my house with the tree. He texted me when he was on the way and again when he was at my door — which was right on time! He made carrying a tree up 3 flights of stairs look easy.
I used him again in 2013 and 2014 — great service every time! Rates vary based on your location but they are very reasonable, and he’s always on time with a big smile. Highly recommended!
