Dr. Kaslow was raised in the Santa Ynez Valley. He entered the dental program at Creighton University where he graduated with a doctor of dental surgery degree. He has a wife and three lovely children. He is President of Solvang Friendship House (senior assisted living and Alzheimer’s care facility), has been an active member of the morning Solvang Rotary Club since 1990 and served as President during the millenium, and heads many charity events in the local area. Dr. Kaslow has been a member of the U.S. Army Medical Corps Reserves for 25 years and holds the rank of full Colonel. He has volunteered at the elementary school he and his children attended, serving on the PTO, supporting the Solvang School Education Foundation and volunteering with the hot lunch and dental screening programs. In addition to serving his dental patients, Art is a fun-​loving man as well as compassionate, a dedicated father, husband, and involved citizen of the Santa Ynez Valley.

The nicest dentist office I have ever been to, hands down. Dr. Kaslow as well as all the hygenists were amazing with my kids and was just as gentle and friendly with me when it was my turn. There is no hard sell here like other dentists offices that are always trying to get more money out of you. They do a great job explaining what needs to be done to your teeth and then just give recommendations for how to handle it. The rest is up to the patient to proceed. So nice and refreshing! My family will be patients here for life!

There is a reason that Dr. Kaslow and his team receive 5 stars, they deserve it and much more! I am not from this area and while visiting my daughter in Solvang I developed a very painful toothache over the weekend. I called Dr. Kaslow’s office first thing on Monday morning and they took me as an emergency patient. My dental problem was extensive but Dr. Kaslow took care of my teeth and my jitters! Dr. Kaslow has a very positive attitude and he and his staff completely put me at ease. I really can’t say enough good things about the .Kaslow team and am happy to say that Dr. Kaslow is now my dentist and I will schedule my regular visits when I am in Solvang!

It’s true. The Kaslow team is really THAT good. Not only was I able to get some old work fixed, but the new work was more permanent, less expensive, and I’m so much happier than with my prior dental team. Dr. Kaslow has a very calming affect on those who feel nervous with extensive work. His and his team’s confidence and calming ways just make you feel at ease. And not only was I able to avoid a root canal by following his instruction and being patient, but he also saw a problem with my bite and spent a few extra minutes making sure that was fixed up as well. I have less tension in my jaw now because of the bite alteration, and I’m so grateful to the whole Kaslow team for being so very, very talented and friendly. Our whole family has moved to their office now, and we’re all doing much better under their care. I can’t recommend anyone more than A. Art Kaslow!

What a great find! Dr Kaslow is amazing and his staff is very professional and friendly. I could not be happier. I have TMJ have worn a bite splint for many years. Dr Kaslow suggested «Next Generation» which is an appliance you wear in your ear which is specially made for your ear canal. I have had terrific results. I believe it is relieving the problem rather than just protecting my teeth from clenching. This is really cutting edge for TMJ help.

I was deathly afraid of the Dentist. So much so that I did everything I could to avoid going. But when a chipped tooth forced me having to go, I took the advice of a friend and went to Dr. Art Kaslow.
My experience did nothing short change my complete opinion of going to the dentist. The entire staff was warm, comforting and attentive.
After fixing my tooth perfectly, I have signed up for routine cleanings, and am actually looking forward to returning.

I have been going to Dr. Kaslow since 2007. I have always enjoyed getting my teeth worked on by Dr. Kaslow or his fellow staff. They have friendly staff and they take great care in making the customer feel comfortable. I will continue to go to Dr. Kaslow and will always recommend his services to any one in need of dentistry work. Lets admit it going to the dentist isn’t everybody’s cup off tea, but going to see Kaslow makes it enjoyable.

I have visited Dr Kaslow’s office many times in the past couple of years. He is very professional and takes very great care of my dental needs. Rachael, Rosa, and Liz up in front are very friendly and make it a very comfortable and inviting environment to be in especially when going to the dentist isn’t always the most enjoyable. The entire staff does a great job explaining everything thoroughly so all my questions are answered.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. I made only one visit to the clinic and saw Dr. Kaslow. I felt very uncomfortable with his demeanor (even just the way he spoke to me was so odd) and their repeated attempts to upsell cleanings, X-​rays and a bunch of services I did not need. They repeatedly reassured me that the X-​rays and molds they were taking of my teeth were complimentary… (I did make it quite clear that I was not able to spend a large amount of money on the extras). Now four months later I am receiving a bill for things that were supposed to be free. This is pretty darn fraudulent. This dentist is very strange and I just felt very uncomfortable while visiting. Not to mention that I am now being charged for things that were supposedly «complementary»!! –Beware! I’m sure there are many other much better dentists around here.

I was able to setup my appointment on their website. Not having to use the phone is always a plus in my book. They got me setup for a complimentary consultation the very next day, another plus. I arrived early, filled out some brief forms and they got me in on time with no waiting. Nice atmosphere and I felt very at ease. The staff was very friendly and nice, nothing but compliments. Art (I’m assuming that’s his name), the actual dentist, was very nice and seems like he really enjoys what he does which made the experience even more pleasant. After the consultation, I felt their prices was reasonable and went ahead with them and they did my molds while I was there without having to set another appointment.
