Quest Diagnostics values offering fast & efficient service to all patients. To better achieve this goal we highly recommend the following:

For Blood Services

1. Schedule an appointment through the web link or by calling the Solvang site. Most Doctors want to see your test results about 1 week prior to your next visit with them, so bear that in mind when scheduling.

2. Be sure to bring your lab orders, and that they are completely filled out with patient information, ICD-​9 diagnosis codes and lab tests. (Quest accepts all order forms — Pacific Diagnostic, Central Coast Pathology, LabCorp, etc)

3. If the Doctor has sent your lab orders directly to Quest in Solvang, it never hurts to call us and confirm our receipt of them.

4. Don’t forget to bring your insurance card.

For Employment Drug Screens

1. If you have been sent by an employer for a Drug Screen, please be prepared to provide a Urine Specimen. Employers must provide you with the form you need, either via email or manually. If it’s by email please remember to print out the form. Also, Drug Screens are provided during the hours of 7:30 — 10:30 & again from 1:00 — 3:00.

2. All Drug Screens must provide a valid photo ID.
