I have been training Jiu Jitsu for 12 years and have been training here this past year. This place has a great vibe and excellent instructors. Joel Tudor, Coach Aaron and Coach Brian are all extremely knowledgeable Jiu Jitsu competitors .When I go there I am treated like family.. I also noticed how they welcome any newbies as well and I was very impressed how they were treated as equals, good work Surfight you have a really great Academy and I just want to share my experiences with anyone interested in learning the Amazing Art, Surfight is World Class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Everytime I go to Surfight I am always welcomed with open arms and encouraged to come back to roll whenever. This Jiu-Jitsu academy has an extremely postive atmosphere to it which makes for a great training environment. Joel Tudor, Brain Morizi and Alex Aguiar are all very knowledgeable in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and have competed at the highest level. I would recommend Surfight to anyone, my only problem with the place is that I don’t live close enough to it.

I have been training Jiu Jitsu for many years and have trained with some amazing instructors. Jiu Jitsu is a sport that required balance and at this academy you can work on Yoga, Kettle Bells, Boot Camp, BJJ, No-Gi, and best of all you are trained by a world champ surfer and bjj champ. Training with Joel you will be working with a progressive instructor who knows exactly how to improve the game of each of his students. There are always great people coming through the doors do to the great reputation of the head instructor and owner Joel Tudor. The bjj classes are mixed between gi and no gi on a pretty fair ratio. Classes consist of a warm up with stretching, followed by learning techniques, then after that you get to spar. There are a great mix of training partners of all sizes and ranks.
