NATURA Waxing lounge & SPA is a Small Local Family Business with 3 locations in San Diego County, and the owners are from Brazil.

Rafaela Chagas made her dream of opening her own spa come true on February 28, 2010. The grand opening of Natura Waxing Lounge and Spa was a complete success. Rafaela came to San Diego 12 years ago from Brazil to study English. Rafaela needed to make some extra cash to support herself through school and she discovered that her waxing talent was in demand among her friends. Rafaela became so popular that she could barely return all her phone calls. Rafaela’s dream for years was to open her own spa where she and her Estheticians would be able to attend to all clients wanting Brazilian waxing expertise and facials. Rafaela proceeded to get her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from SDSU and two months after graduation Natura Waxing Lounge and Spa became a reality.

I came to Natura Waxing Lounge & Spa for a brazilian/​full-​leg bikini waxing and it was the best waxing experience I’ve ever had. Carina is truly amazing and very professional — I felt very comfortable during our whole session and I nearly felt no pain at all. She has a great attitude and a very bright personality, so even though we had never met before I felt more like sitting down with a friend for a coffee than getting a waxing done. I would highly recommend her services, she’s going to make sure that the process is as quick and painless as possible while still getting the best results. In comparison to other waxing studios this was a real treat!

I had a fabulous wax from Rachel. She is super sweet, and it was painless! It was the best wax I have ever had. I liked that they use their own sugaring wax, and they incorporate other wax materials when the sugaring one just isn’t cutting it :)

Amazing place run by professional, kind people with phenomenal skills. Rafaela is beyond compare and the customer service is top notch. Great for first timers and those experienced with waxing will appreciate how good they are. They also do gorgeous spray tans and great spa treatments. My favorite waxing salon ever. They take such good care of their customers!!!

As good as it gets. I had Rachel as my massage therapist, and she was phenomenal. I asked for a deep tissue massage, and when I left, I felt so relaxed and the good kind of sore. Even though most masseuses are able to adjust when you tell them more or less pressure here and there, you don’t want to have to be doing that the whole time. Rachel did an excellent job of knowing how deep to go to get the knots out of my tightest spots.
I’m the kind of masage-​ee who likes silence, and this place was great for that. It was a really quiet and peaceful experience, and I loved wearing the noise-​canceling headphones so I could listen to the soothing music and nothing else came in. Most places don’t give you the option for that, and I thought that was a really nice extra.
The owner, Rafaela, happened to be there when I was, and she’s super nice and accommodating. You can tell she’s an owner who is very actively involved in her business (which you can’t always say), and she really cares whether or not you had a positive experience.
I’ll definitely be coming back with the wife for a couples massage as soon as possible!

Wow-​What a great experience! I booked an apt here at Natura, right after I had the most horrific experience with front desk at Solana beach European wax center. The employees at Natura were friendly, professional and treated like a real human being. It was literally a night and day difference. I had a brazilian wax done in 15min –the esthetician was quick, efficient and had overall great customer service. So 5 star for both spa service and front desk. Go here — don’t even think of checking out another place.

This place is amazing! This was the best Brazilian wax I’ve ever had. They use 3 different kinds of wax for different areas and stages of waxing. It was less painful, my skin was less irritated, and I was left with pretty much no stray hairs. Rafaela was such a sweetheart… and very knowledgeable too.
I also got a mini facial while I was there. My skin was red and irritated from a peel that I had somewhere else. Rachel did a very gentle facial and totally got rid of the redness and dry patches. I couldn’t believe how much better my skin looked when I left. She’s a total sweetheart too.
I’m very picky when it comes to my skin, and I would totally recommend this place. It’s beautiful, the gals are so sweet, they take walk ins, the prices were very moderate… I’m a happy Mama!

I love this Waxing Salon. I’ve seen Bekah now for a couple of months and she’s amazing. Zero pain, always polite and the room is always so clean. I love how she explains everything she’s doing and really walks you through the process. I’ll never go anywhere else now, I’ve been spoilt!

Being that I’m not from the area, I was very weary on getting my brows done at some small scale nail shop– where the ladies could give no cares on how you want your brows to look. So I did some research on waxing specialists in the area and stumbled across this jem!
Bekah greeted me kindly and asked me to fill out a form, being that this was my first time. The form takes note on any medication/​skin conditions you may have. Like a profile almost! I suppose they collect your contact information for promotional gifts later down the line? Just guessing.
What I really want to emphasize is how chic, welcoming, and professional this establishment is! Also want to praise Bekah for making my brows reach their full potential! It’s a world of s difference how much brows shape your face– and Bekah cleaned them up in perfect detail.
OH and did I mention– the wax didn’t hurt at ALL! instead of the immediate startling small shock you go into when the strip is first ripped… NO PAINFUL experiences like that here! The wax is so natural and only slightly adhesive– it almost felt like nothing.

I came here the other day for my first Brazilian.
I was a bit nervous because i didn’t know what level of pain to expect, but Rafaela assured me that it would be bearable and that in the 12 years she’s been doing Brazilians, no one has walked out halfway through. She made a point to talk to me during the process, too, which gave me something other than pain to focus on! Overall, she made me feel very comfortable.
She was also very thorough and talked me through the process as well as what I should do post-​wax.
Never gonna shave down there again! Thank you!

AMAZING! Rafaella is an incredible esthetician! She gave me my first Brazilian and walked me through the whole process. They use three types of wax which helps ensure that they grab all the little hairs.
If you want a great experience, spend a week or two growing those babies out and you will leave Natura as smooth as a mango. Ladies, GO HERE. DO THIS!

I had a good experience at the salon and the girl that did my wax was super fun to talk to. I was surprised that it didn’t hurt as much as usual (not that it’s ever THAT bad) and was told it was because of the special wax they used.
I found out once I got home that unfortunately it didn’t hurt because a lot of the hair was still there. It seemed like the wax only broke a lot of the hair instead of removing it from the root. That was a bummer. But overall the salon was clean and my experience there was comfortable.

Best Brazilian Wax in San Diego!
This is Natura’s third location in San Diego and the level of service is top notch. I’ve been a client since they first opened in PB, but this Solana Beach location makes it a lot easier for the north county folks.
My favorite facial is the pumpkin peel, a must try!
