An amazing space for buyers and what a unique opportunity for sellers/​local business owners. Shop local friends!
I have a client who is thrilled to be selling her unique goods at Leaping Lotus and as soon as her shop is set up I can’t wait to go in because I LOVE this store. Tracy has unique scarves that are just gorgeous.
My mother is a handbag designer and before placing hers in Nordstrom she started with trunk shows, and did well with selling her bags at Leaping Lotus too.
I would love to put my makeup and skincare line in Leaping Lotus.
Shopping on Cedros is always fun, and you cannot beat the variety this store offers. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

An entire 2 story bizarre to fill your home or garden with things that you need or things you didn’t know you needed. Prices are good as well. Beautiful things of quality and none of it is junk. It all depends on your style.

I LOVE this place! I’m mad I’ve lived here a year and a half and never been in until yesterday.
Adorable décor items for any taste, clothing, gift items, art, jewelry, bags… you name it. I described it to a friend as the «Etsy store.» And the prices are great! Everything was totally reasonable.
Now I just have to wait for another birthday to pop up so I have an excuse to go back and find the perfect gift!

WOW! This store caught my eye from down the block, it’s definatley something to not walk by and not go in. They have such amazing art and sculptures. They have amazing beach shells, jewelry, clothing, ornaments, i mean just all sorts of stuff that all catch your eye. Plus they are located only blocks away from Solana Beach. I did purchase a piece of art, and i am in no means disappointed with this store.

This place is adorable, from the building architecture and interior décor to all the wares available for purchase inside. There are two stories of treasures to peruse and lots of gift ideas for locals and tourists alike. This place is located in Cedros Design District which is a rad place to hang. Even on a Saturday, the street appears so beachy and chill here, not crazy crowded.
Leaping Lotus has its own parking lot on the roof right above the building with a stairwell that leads right to the storefront, which is convenient, but there’s plenty of parking in adjacent lots up and down the street as well as plenty of street parking.

This place is such a great place to find a gift for someone as they have so many things for even the pickiest of people. I walked in this store to just look around and an hour later walked out with some pretty good deals. They were having a clearance on their designer children’s clothes do I bought some for my toddler niece. I was disappointed that they did not accept Discover card but the deals were too good to leave behind. Next time I am looking for a gift for whatever the occasion, I will come back here.

This is the prettiest, biggest, most fun black hole ever! Every time I enter this store, I have to make sure I’m not in a rush or I don’t have any arrangements for the next 2 hours because I get lost in here (consciously and unconsciously)! They have everything I want, don’t want, need and don’t need! It’s such a great time to just go wander in there to look at pretty things, smell the candles, sit on cool tree branch chairs, and drool over the cool furniture!

I was in here today with my kids and nephews. We love Leaping Lotus but today a lady who works at your store watched my kids and passive aggressively let them know that «there are cameras». The tone that she used suggested to them it was a warning not to shop lift. Needless to say, they felt wrongly accused and when they heard her call for security, that pretty much did it for them. They asked to leave. I wish I knew this before I made my purchase. When I went back to confront her and tell her how she made them feel, and additionally how it made me feel as a negative reflection on my parenting, she denied it. I will not shop here anymore. I am sorry for her behavior. Too bad there is no option for zero stars.

Not a good place if you want to just window shop. If you don’t buy something they suspect you are stealing and will have their little worker spies following your every move. It was so disrespectful and not a good shopping experience. It was too bad they were treating us like this because we really were honest customers looking for décor for the house. Such a disappointment. It was a really cool place filled with many different vendors and several different shops. Want to return but don’t want to be treated like that again.

One of my favorite places to pick up gifts and cards, They have so much to choose from and with all the different vendors you really have so much to choose from. What can I say? Clean, tons of cards, crazy booth with funny and gag gifts, crazy stuff to check out. Scarves, handmade soaps and lotions, body butters, tea towels, great girly wine glasses and cool kitchen gadgets. Furniture and housewares. Really everything you could imagine is in here. Oh, not to forget the gorgeous candles. Great shopping at all price points.

This is one of my daughter’s favorite places!
Décor: Lots of it and EVERYWHERE! This is one giant store filled with tons of mini shops. A good way for local artists to display and sell their creations without having to rent an entire storefront.
I love all of the different things… from apothecary to jewelry to clothing to art. It’s fantastic!

Leaping Lotus is a gem. Really, it’s filled with everything cool. Bird cages, vases, cards, there’s so many awesome things, it trumps my addiction to Home Goods. You can find amazing gifts for friends and family, as well as really unique things for a great deal.
I came to Leaping Lotus after browsing a couple antique shops nearby, and I didn’t need to keep looking for what I needed. I found a couple vintage-​style prints behind glass to hang in my house for $ 5 and $ 10! There were so many other things I could have also bought, but let’s not get too crazy, because I will.
Everyone looking for home décor, or thoughtful gifts needs to go to Leaping Lotus. And when walking down Cedros, it’s definitely worth taking a gander. I will definitely be going back on a regular basis!

I always forget to shop here and just around the holidays it dawns on me the perfect gift shopping store is in Solana Beach. They have a selection of everything because there are hundreds of vendors selling their wares here. Candles, purses, clothing, knick knacks, kitchen ware, books, art, pictures, jewelry, humorous gag gifts, musical instruments, antiques, etc… where else could you find this in one big shop?
Leaping Lotus has two glorious floors of the aforementioned wares. There is so much stuff but it flows nicely. Not jam packed like in traditional multi vendor places. On the first floor in the back check out the kitchenware. Very unique stuff for the person in your life who loves kitchen gadgets. Always score some unique stuff for my M-​I-​L here.

I don’t know why but every year around this time we end up here doing some Christmas shopping. Just happens. It’s always by accident. Weird huh? It’s not a bad thing. In fact it’s quite nice. It’s a fun collection of eclectic, artistic and just plain fun things to be around. We always buy something which would suggest, there’s something there for everyone.
Whether it’s photographic art, paintings, crafts or even those goofy things you might have had as a kid and forgot about. You know, like a Slinky, a lunch box, a balsa wood rubber band powered airplane kit etc… Fun stuff. Located in Solana Beach on Cedros close to the famous Belly Up Tavern. Yep, it’s just a fun place to shop. What did we buy? A couple necklaces, an all purpose container top and a few other things. Shhhh. Don’t say anything. We bought a few gifts for my mom and a few others on our list.

What a great «everything» store. They even sell the furniture with display items on them. I’m always wishing I could buy pieces that are not for sale — but here they are for sale. Some furniture prices are high but they also have reasonably priced items.
I just stopped in to browse because I recently moved to the area and I’m looking for some pieces for my new apartment. Took some photos of things I loved and will be back to shop.
I like that I wasn’t bothered by anyone for just looking. The staff was still friendly and greeted me but let me wander around. It’s hard for me to make small talk with sales workers while shopping… I need to focus.

Wow, this place rocks! It’s so unique in that you can find just about anything decorative for the house. I could have literally spent hours in here and TONS of cash! There are different vendors and various items. There’s also a second level that blew my mind. When I see that much sparkly stuff, it’s hard to get my attention. The hanging butterfly’s were so pretty. (I took a pic but it doesn’t do it justice)
I will def be back, especially if I have out of town visitors. It would also be a fantastic place to shop for the holidays.
