I haven’t been here in years and since I went I have wanted to post a review– I still remember it like it was yesterday and my palms start sweating immediately. I dove with Jordan. WHAT A SAINT THAT MAN. I had never been before and I’m a baby. I went with my dad, bro and cousin who all forced me to jump first… my dad paid for the higher altitude which was terrifying. On the way up, Jordan told me he forgot my goggles. I was already crying so that didn’t help but man my family sure thought it was hysterical. Jordan kept reassuring me we were fine and joking the whole way, it really was awesome and I felt totally safe with him looking back. As the door opened, my legs automatically threw the brakes on and Jordan had to physically pick them up and scoot me forward and with a quick 1−2−3 in the ear we were out. No choice given thank goodness. He let me steer, only did tricks I felt comfortable with (which was all of them, WHY NOT?!) and look at that… we landed safe and sound. Since then, I have gone again over on the coast of NC and it was just as awesome. I encourage everyone who loves adventure OR is petrified of it to jump. You have 1 life and its damn short. DO IT. You won’t regret it… or the view! Also, Go Cougs.

Wow! This place is awesome. Went with a friend and neither of us have skydived before. We were super freaked out but the staff was incredibly helpful. The process is very thorough so you feel prepared for the jump. The view was AMAZING. Definitely pay the extra $ 25 for the extra 30 seconds of freefall. Totally worth it and so glad my first experience was at Skydive Snohomish!

One day I woke up to an email saying, «Your friend has made a Skydive Tandem reservation for you.» Reading this made my heart pound and palms sweat… But, I must say, this was the best decision someone has ever made for me. I had the pleasure to take my first jump ever with instructor Vald on Saturday (10/​17/​2015)… The scariest part for me was the plane ride up because I didn’t know what to expect. Vald, however, helped clam my nerves by explaining everything step by step. From how to put on the uniform to how to steer the parachute, he truly made it the best experience of my life, thus far. Everyone was super cool/​nice/​professional. I have never felt more alive and free – the best feeling in the world. I’m itching to go back and definitely considering a skydiving license.

Amazing!!! This place was very organized and customer service was amazing. They helped set up my engagement and without me even having any suspicion. They have a fun video you watch before jumping, a small practice session which makes you more confident about jumping. On the way up they kept us all laughing and calm. If they wouldn’t have had the amazing customer service that they did I honestly don’t think I would have had the experience I did. Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! I can’t thank them enough.

We booked slots for 5 of us on a Bright sunny afternoon for tandem Skydive. We had an amazing experience with Skydive Snohomish. They were professional, fast and amazing. My instructor Chris Wolf was very good and I enjoyed it a lot. Thank you Skydive Snohomish for the discount that we received as well. Absolutely loved the experience.

I did the tandem skydive with Jordan and it was amazing! He’s really nice, takes great pictures, and I felt completely safe. We showed up, watched a short video and my sister and I were on the first plane up! Some people had to wait a while to jump though. The view was beautiful and Jordan pointed out all kinds of things. It’s pricey but well worth it.

Four of us went for an 18^th Birthday tandem adventure. The staff is awesome, professional, readily established confidence and professionalism. The facilities were clean and comfortable with a great area to hang out and watch other jumpers. The training video interesting and entertaining. My tandem instructor, Jake, was super nice, professional and calmed my first jump fears. It was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone and everyone! Go do it!

The staff at Skydive Snohomish is awesome. They help you all along the way, from paperwork and preparation to the dive itself. My tandem skydive instructor was Kory, I couldn’t have asked for a better partner. He catered to my needs, made me feel comfortable and made sure I had an amazing time. I felt absolutely secure and had no worries so I was able to fully experience the dive with utmost confidence. He pointed out all the landmarks as we were drifting down, the Cascades, Mt Rainier, and the surrounding towns. I was amazed at how much control you have while diving. We did twists, turns, and even a stall. The landing was smooth and controlled, I just can’t wait to go again!

It was an absolutely AMAZING experience! The preflight training was easy and effective. The lobby, bathrooms and outside drop zone area was clean and comfortable. My instructor Vlad was soooo awesome! He was hilarious, very clear with directions and made me feel comfortable despite my nervousness. The freefall was mind blowing. The time under the canopy was breathtaking. Perfectly clear evening with beautiful sunset and unmatchable views of Washington. A great team of professionals who make you feel comfortable, keep things simple and safe. Totally top notch! I’m glad I dived with them. Can’t wait to do it again!!!

I booked an appointment for my boyfriend’s birthday. Surprise tandem skydiving!
Pricing is comparatively high: $ 51.50 (deposit to make an appointment online) + $ 296.94 (actual dive) = $ 348.44 per person with GoPro video. Skydive Kapowsin’s weekday and video was $ 285 for the same free-​fall altitude but a 85-​minute drive to Shelton, so I decided to choose Skydive Snohomish for a shorter drive and their long established history.
Pro:
— Our time slot got delayed because of a plane landing at a different airport and eventually, our wait turned into 5-​hour lull. I wanted to be angry because we had wasted the entire day there but boyfriend was a saint; because of the inconvenience, the staff refunded $ 96.94 (price of GoPro videos).
— Instructors were professional and experienced; staff were friendly and courteous; and establishment was clean.
Con:
— There is nothing to do while you wait. The video says you do, but there really wasn’t.
— Another couple who waited with us drove 90-​minutes but had unluckily been delayed another 30 minutes; the poor girl left crying from disappointment.
— Jumpsuits protect your own clothes but become very stuffy in the summer.
— You wear a dorky hat and this unflattering hat makes you not want to flaunt your experience.

Words do not describe how amazing my experience was at Skydive Snohomish. From the minute I called in to schedule my jump (3 hours prior; it was a spur of the moment decision) to the end, i couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff is super welcoming and do everything to make you feel completely at ease. You know you are in the hands of professionals who love what they do. After signing my life away it was on to a once in a lifetime experience. Bill Kelly was my instructor and was the best a girl could ask for. His calming presence and super cool attitude made everything seem so much easier. He started out my instructor and in the end a great friend. Love that guy! And the video he took for me was so so so worth the money ($ 90). I can relive my whole experience time and time again (and have!). Also the quality is great, so I would highly suggest the video in lieu of the photos. You can crop your own pictures from still shots and they look great. This was seriously one of the best experiences of my entire life. I will definitely be back to do it again. I wish I could give more stars to this place because they definitely deserve it. I’ll absolutely be recommending this place to every single one of my friends. Thank you Skydive Snohomish, and thank you Bill!!!

It was my first time skydiving and I had a great experience at Snohomish. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. After signing a few forms, we watched a video which described the whole process of skydiving and how the staff at Snohomish makes our security their first priority. Then we were taken outside and introduced to our coaches. Mike was my instructor and did a great job of keeping me calm. After waiting for a little while in which we could see other skydivers, we were off! The jump was absolutely amazing! I recommend everyone to jump from 13,500 ft as the free fall is for about a minute. Anything less than that and you probably won’t even feel it. The views of Washington State from up there are absolutely amazing! I requested for a video and while being a little expensive, it is totally worth it. I have my experience captured with me and have watched it quite a few times to relive the excitement. I would strongly recommend Snohomish to everyone for skydiving!

Good little drop zone

Skydived for the first time, and it was AMAZING. I went in June, so by then, Seattle weather had cleared up a bit. It was a little chilly on my hands up in the air, but other than that, it wasn’t freezing. I wore jeans, sneakers, a t-​shirt, and a light cardigan. just dress in something comfy!
I went with four other people, and we were able to get on the same plane. The paperwork process took some time, so definitely arrive earlier to fill them out before your scheduled time! I felt like I signed my name a thousand times, but understandable due to legal and safety issues. My group signed up for the tandem skydive, and opted for the extra distance (13,500 ft. total) for an extra $ 25. We did get a $ 10 discount/​person though, since they have group rates. I had paid for my group’s nonrefundable deposit online, and so the person dealing with our payment was pretty patient in helping us split it correctly.
I personally have a «healthy» fear of heights (i.e., not a phobia, or extreme fear), and it felt fine riding in the plane. My boyfriend, who has a fear of heights, didn’t think skydiving was too bad either. I was sitting next to the open door though, and looking out did make my heart race. I was the first to go (ahh!), and being on the edge of the plane, just hanging out. was honestly terrifying! But you don’t get much time to think about it, and once you’re out of the plane, all of that fear just blows away. I hate the feeling of falling when I’m on a roller coaster, and skydiving did not feel like that at all! It felt awesome free falling, and gliding down when the parachute opened! It was a little difficult to breath when I was falling though, so looking at the horizon does help. My instructor (Mike) even let me guide the parachute: D! I couldn’t help but smile and laugh the whole time. The way down definitely didn’t feel like a minute; it felt way less :(
It seemed like most of the instructors were all from different backgrounds/​countries, and some were more talkative/​joking than others. Mine was on the quieter side, and although my instructor let me guide the parachute, someone else in my group’s instructor wouldn’t let him guide theirs. You don’t really get to pick your instructor, so I guess it’s a hit or miss. The location is further out from Seattle, so you get a pretty nice view of the mountains, etc up in the air.

I walked in, got in line, was asked to sign «my life away», paid my fees (I chose to upgrade my altitude and had video service), and sat down to watch the 30 mins video about skydiving.
Then, my group and I went outside to do the basic steps when you go skydiving, such as curve your body up while you are in the air and blah blah blah. Please remember that the instructor will do all of your works and you will just need to relax and to enjoy the thrill.
The wait time is like around 2 – 3 hours if you aren’t the first chosen group. Then, the instructor called my name eventually, helped me get my skydiving gear on, and started filming me.
We got on the airplane first. Of course, it wasn’t a fancy one and the space was a bit cramped. Was I scared? Nervous? I didn’t think much until the plane’s door was opened for the solo skydivers to go first. I heard the wind roaring at 13,500 ft and immediately freaked out. The way to go home was never so far away…
Anyway, I seriously freaked out more when we were the last ones to skydive. It happened so fast. That moment when i dangled on that plane definitely scared me to death. After the instructor prompted you to jump, everything happened quickly.
Yes, you will feel a bit squeal in your stomach, but if you look ahead (and not look down), the horizon was indeed beautiful. Be careful when the parachute would open because I almost felt like my neck was snapped in half because of the strong impact. At the end, my instructor and I just enjoyed the view from above as we slowly made our descend.
I waited for about 20 mins until I received my DVD. Yayyyyy! I also got a certificate verifying that I indeed made the ultimate jump of my life.
You should try it if you are a big fan of thrill and adrenaline.

I started my journey to become a licensed skydiver here in Skydive Snohomish.
This drop zone is filled with amazing instructors. I was really slow during initial learning process, but all my instructors were very patient and pushed to towards the right direction with long debriefs of every jump.
The only down side here is that there are a lot of students here and you won’t get to jump as much as you want while on the initial static line progression (untill you reach solo student status). but it’s a great place to learn.
And it is also one of the best place to do tandem skydiving. You can enjoy beautiful views of mt. baker, rainier and the cascade range while freefalling at 120 miles/​hr. Or just enjoy the view during the canopy ride back to the ground.

I’ve booked a skydive for my birthday. However, that day they called me and told that weather is not good for a skydive. They charged $ 50 for the reservation, and offered me to reschedule. I couldn’t reschedule, since I was in Seattle for a short period of time. So, at the end I didn’t skydive and they didn’t return my reservation fee.

I never gone skydiving before in my life. So I decided to go by myself for the first time! Static line at 5,000+ feet! I had very high expectations and it exceeded! Make me feel alive!!!

first want to thank my friends for signing me up on this bucket list of mine and just so happened on my birthday !! i was super scared of jumping honestly but the skydivers here are welcoming, professional, full of energy, and cant wait to take you at 0 gravity !!! i highly recommend coming here to see this view its absolutely breath taking. You can chose to have pictures or video for your jump with a gopro but you cant bring your own. all i have to say is wow… they tell you the instructions and the only thing i have to say is i did have a hard time breathing after we jumped from the plane which is normal, remember to keep your teeth together and breathe that way haha. believe me a life time experience for sure.

There is no better way to get over fear then to know what you are afraid of. In the past two years I’ve jumped here 4 times. In each one of those times I have brought a group of 8 or more. Our last group had 16 people, 14 of which were all first timers. And though many were beyond scared and it took quite a bit of convincing to do — there is NEVER a perfect time to «try» skydiving. There’s never a perfect day or a perfect scenario. You just have to DO IT. And of all 30+ people that I have convinced to jump with me, there hasn’t been ONE that said they won’t ever do it again.
There really is nothing in LIFE that can prepare you for your first jump. There’s nothing in LIFE that can describe what skydiving feels like. It is an experience in it’s own. For nearly a minute — while you are free falling towards earth at over 120 mph — there isn’t a worry in the world. All stress, all worries, all problems, all issues go out the window. It’s at that moment when you feel the most alive. Even when the parachute deploys and your mind begins to process what you just did — you feel like a new person. I tell ya, if you can jump out of a plane at 14,000 feet there really isn’t much else to be afraid of.
For the folks that like to think of things logically… That «stomach in the throat» feeling maybe lasts for about 2 seconds — right as you come out the plane. But once you parallel out with the earth and begin your free fall, it’s just amazing from there on out. Because there isn’t anything flying by you as you fall — your mind doesn’t register how fast you’re actually going. Because you don’t «feel» gravity pulling at you, you don’t feel like your falling. For that precious minute — you’re doing something many people only dream of, floating. Free falling. Facing your fear.
Sadly — it all ends way too fast. When you touch down on the ground, the only thing that hurts is your face from smiling ear to ear and you can’t stop. And you can’t wait to do it all over again.
Great professionalism at this DZ — from the mindset of safety first and enforcing the first rule of having fun and smile. The entire staff and jump instructors are extremely nice and know how to have fun. They can take a joke and dish them as well. Big shout outs to Craig, Jared, Mike, Vlad, Greg Rafuse and the entire staff there for always making it a memorable experience — and a special shout out to Sonia who I know went to open Skydive Chelan for she was my first tandem skydive.
I will definitely be back with more first timers very soon!!!
