You get what you pay for, which isn’t the case here. The food is poor quality however the service makes up for it. They redecorated their interior which makes it for a classier dive. I would said this is the best breakfast in Snohomish.

Nice ride out to Snohomish and back from Redmond on a Harley. Food’s great, the price is right and the coffee is good. The service staff is professional, helpful and friendly. Atmosphere is nice as well and who can complain about an airfield next door. Something interesting going on most of the time. I miss the Buzz Inn in Woodinville but like this one better.

Service was slow. Food was not good. My husband’s nachos were too salty to eat and his drink was so strong he couldn’t taste anything but vodka. Our waitress was gracious about it but you could tell she was a bit annoyed at us. We will not be returning. This is the worst buzz inn we have been to. It was very disappointing.

Great scenery, great service, great food! I love the chicken wrap the best and the kids meal makes all 4 of my kids happy! The manager Marion is fantastic! :-)

We had a very bad customer experience here and it was never acknowledged. Went for lunch about two months ago on a Sunday. There was an expected crowd, but completely ordinary. We ordered our food and realized we needed to be somewhere in just over an hour, so asked that they pack it to go. After more than 45 minutes we seriously had to leave. So, no food no nothing, we left and figured we would call back and they would reimburse our $ 40 lunch. Nope, I called several times and the manager was either not in or to busy to speak to me. I left my name and number and detailed my experience. I never had a return call. So I wrote to corporate. Still, I received no acknowledgment. Not right!

These reviews crack me up. C’mon people… it’s a suburbian steakhouse, and a franchise one at that. You cannot have John Howie expectations going into it. I go here often after or between skydives. It’s a great location, and you just can’t beat the price of these steaks. The service staff for the most part is very friendly, but every restaurant has a few sour apples. Not a big deal. Their burgers are very good, better than Red Robin for sure, AND you get bottomless fries, and their fries are YUMMM. The steaks are exactly what I would expect for their price range. Again, it’s a steak house in Snohomish, WA. These people writing bad reviews have never worked in the restaurant industry. It’s stressful, and when you don’t get tips from the cheap asses that frequent your establishment, it’s hard to keep a super happy face on. A friend and I went in recently and were greeted right away, and instructed to go inside as the outside was reserved for a retirement party. «Cassidy» took our order and was cheerful and friendly, despite the staff being overworked on that particular day because they were short staffed. When I asked her how her day was going, she could have easily gone into a long rant about all of that and aired a bunch of dirty laundry, but instead she was professional about it and smiled and said«good». I only know they were short staffed due to hearing some other waitresses airing it out. haha. In a nut shell, the Buzz Inn’s would be great candidates for Bar Rescue, or one of those kinds of shows. They are outdated, but it’s worth a trip for that outdoor patio on a sunny day to watch the planes, skydivers, OR in the evening for a gorgeous sunset sipping on a good beer with a nice affordable slab of beef.

By far the worst experience I have ever had here. The food took over an hour to come, the food was not what I had ordered, my coffee stayed empty for 30 minutes every time, the waitress was more concerned with helping the drunkard young men than with us and she didn’t ask one single time how it was. We had to wait for 10 minutes up at the bar to pay and were continued to be looked over because we were not being noisy and rude. The old hag seemed more interested in trying to flirt with guys half her age than pay attention to the customer who come here every week. She should be fired. Never ever coming again in the morning if she is here!

Save the trip for now and go to one of the other locations. We decided to go back to the Marysville location, and the manager was AWESOME! She also waited on us and was attentive and authentically nice! :D Go there or the one in Everett.

Simple burger and fries made my lunch comfortable and filling. Bobby, the Host today, is a great example of customer service! He acts like an owner and has pride in his job. If he is an owner or not, he’s vested himself in his work.

Been visiting this location for about five years; it’s a Buzz Inn, so measuring them using diner standards – comfort food, beef, potatoes, etc. Without all the disgusting details, our dinners were both inedible for different reasons. Waitress never checked with us until she brought the check, at that point we voiced our complaints and she agreed with us and said she told the cook before she even brought out our food and the cook said, «it comes from a cow, get over it» We complained to the hostess as well – no one offered to do anything other than apologize. I then sent a complaint to their corporate office and waited two weeks before posting this – never heard back. Guess they don’t think twice about losing $ 750 in revenue and tips…

We’ve come to eat here a lot. It’s usually pretty awesome. Tonight, however, was not. We ordered the appetizer platter, which is $ 19.99. We got, maybe, $ 10 worth of food. 2 greasy cheese sticks, 1.5 dried out chicken fingers, a few onions rings that were mostly breading, four tiny chicken wings(??) and a bunch of over seasoned waffle fries. Then the waiter came back 10 minutes later with 3 sliders and said that they were part of the platter and he had forgotten them. Our son ordered a kids fish and chips which came with one small fish stick and a handful of French fries. The entire evening, the wait staff were making extremely inappropriate jokes with each other(one such«joke» was commenting on a song. One girl said to another guy«She says in thsis song that she wants to kiss your lips because it tastes like her lips. What kind of lips are we talking about, huh?»). Not really appropriate in front of our 8 year old son. There seemed to be a lot more flirting going on than working. We are extremely disappointed with our service and food this evening and not too sure we want to come back again. It’s a shame, because as I said before, we’ve been multiple times and have great service and food in the past. I’m hoping this was just an «off» night, but to spend almost $ 60 on what we received tonight makes us very hesitant to try again.

Everyone raves about this place… We weren’t impressed. The building is outdated and felt dirty. The food was tasteless. My kids grilled cheese was toasted bread with a slice of cheese… we really didn’t have service.

For a restaurant to claim«best steaks in town» you would expect a halfway decent steak. Once again shame on me for thinking the food might be better the next time around… Three strikes your out I say to this joint. We ate in the bar and my wife and I both felt like we were an inconvenience to her«we weren’t regulars». We both ordered steak and asked for«medium», what we received was raw, so raw it was almost purple *see pic*. No joke, we sat there and could not get eye contact with our server the entire meal! Beer was empty and steak was not edible. By the time she came back we were ready to leave, I told her about the steak, she credited us for one meal and slapped down the bill and gave my wife a condescending look! We were both very disappointed and will not be going there again. The previous experiences were bad due to mediocre service and subpar food.

This place is so godawful bad, the only redeeming quality is that it’s cheap. The steaks are thin and overcooked(hard not to overcook a half inch thick steak), of extremely poor quality, and the mushroom topping is more salt than mushroom. Add to that a dingy and dated atmosphere, this place is on the avoid at all costs list. The McDonald’s up the street is far better and less likely to give you stomach problems, and I say that with complete sincerity.

Used to be a nice place. Lately, too many Good Old Boys bringing in their guns to show off. Management doesn’t care. Never going back.

Got kids? This place is awesome. Go here late in the afternoon on a nice spring, summer or fall day. Sit outside. Watch the planes continually take off and land right next to you, watch the skydivers coming in buzzing the restaurant on their descent, and enjoy the giant freight trains — complete with air horns — that barrel 100 feet away from the back of the restaurant. My 3 toddlers spent 2 hours freaking out with non-stop excitement. They were so jazzed we couldn’t contain them, and would shout out wildly every time a plane took off or landed(aka: continously). When the air-horns for the freight trans sounded they just lost it with excitement, screaming and shouting as only train-crazy toddlers can. Even the other patrons were, um, excited for them. I would recommend this place without reservations. What could be better than the combination of airplanes, trains, and skydivers? Nothing! Short of adding in sharks, tigers, and dinosaurs, this place couldn’t get any better. Oh yea, they have food too.

Wow, I guess YMMV with this place. I know I visited this place since it’s close to where we live w/o Unilocaling first and my experience has been pretty good. Enough that I’ve been back for repeat business with the same experience each time. Basically I take it for what it is. It’s not the Metropolitan Grill or Daniel’s, it’s The Buzz Inn Steakhouse in Snohomish near the local airport and farms. That being said, my impressions of customer service were pretty good. One, everytime I’ve been, the place always seems busy but we were always seated promptly and served just as prompt, with regular follow ups and fill ups by the wait staff. I’ve gotten a lot less… way less… from places like Diamond Knot Brewery just to name one… Melting Pot in Bellevue to name another. Two, food, well, they don’t serve Kobe beef, but when I’m in the mood for a reasonably priced and well prepared steak, their rib-eye(FYI in my Ruth Chris Review I mentioned Buzz-Inn not having Rib-eye, but they do-my mistake-AND it’s a thicker cut than the afore mentioned) does the job and it’s pretty damn good! Tender and they prepared the way I asked, almost a perfect medium rate… unlike say, Ruth Chris SteakHouse where, despite the uppity atmosphere I paid twice the price for a so-so cut of steak that was over cooked(no clue what medium-rare is)…just to name one. But whether we’ve been at the Buzz-Inn for dinner or breakfast(love that here too), the portions are pretty decent and I never walk away hungry. It’s definitely a local hang, but the ones I’ve ran into seem friendly and definitely add character to both the restaurant and bar as does the Airplane themed décor. Just glad that I didn’t Unilocal this place before going or else I might not have ever gone based on reviews alone. I guess sometimes it’s good to just give a place a go and be your own judge.

Wow, such negative reviews. I wanted a straightforward steak, not a super-corporate steak, like the kind I’d get at Outback or Black Angus, not a $ 50 yuppie steak like I could get at Daniel’s Broiler. I wanted a regular steak, good quality meat, prepared skillfully, but not so full of itself that I’d be embarrassed if anyone saw me put steak sauce on it. Buzz Inn delivered that at a perfectly good price, a New York strip I was proud to eat. The service was fine. I’d quibble that the clam chowder probably came out of a can, but that’s kind of what I expected, and from the other reviews, I’m thinking the salad wouldn’t have been any better. Good enough beer selection for this city boy, even if the server listed all the varieties of Bud available before he got to the IPA they had. The truckstop atmosphere did not bother me, but some folks might prefer a little more class. I’ll definitely be back.

Buzz Inn Snohomish may be a great candidate for Robert Irvine’s Restaurant: Impossible. On the plus side is a good senior value menu for my elderly uncle and aunts…
