History

Established in 2013.

After almost 10 years of working for consulting firms, JCMar was conceived from the constant realization that small businesses seemed to be left at the curb side when they needed help and support. We grew tired of referrals we presented to the consulting firms we worked for being assessed and ignored due to low annual profits that didn’t meet the firms requirements. This caused us to leave our jobs and create something new, a company that would strive to cater to all. From startups and small business to corporate enterprise (Fortune 100), we will do our best to ensure all get the solutions they need.

Meet the Business Owner

Matthew M.

Business Owner

From a young age, around 5 years old, Matthew has been involved with computers and technology. His father, Carl, was a computer teacher and inspired /​nurtured Matthew’s curiosity when it came to technology and seeking to understand how things work. After holding several types of jobs, including enlisting in the Army, Matthew circled back to what he loved. In 2004 he began to teach himself Web design, programming and SharePoint while living in Western Ireland. He then began to make a business from what he learned, providing websites to clients and helping larger businesses with Microsoft SharePoint. In 2013 he moved to Washington state where he held the positions of Sr. SharePoint Architect and Software Development Engineer 3. In early 2014 he held the position of Premier Field Engineer and SharePoint Developer at Microsoft until he left to fully concentrate on developing his company JCMAR (named after his son James Conor). To date JCMAR provides services to small and large businesses
