DBS Outdoor Paintball Park

Woo, I love these guys!
For my youngest daughter’s Sweet 16 party, she threw a party she dubbed The Paint Ball. Her and 10 friends dressed up for prom, and then came here. (Get it? THE PAINT BALL, isn’t she just clever?)
We accidentally went to the Everett location first. My bad for putting her in charge of directions, as she didn’t realize their indoor and outdoor facilities were in two different places.
No worries though, the guys at Everett called over to Snohomish to ensure she didn’t lose her reserved time and gave us directions to schlep over.
They have 4 or 5 fields (one seemed accessible only by going across another?) and were really packed when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon. Despite being so busy and a bit understaffed, they quickly got everyone set up and walked everyone through safety tips and rules and got them going.
Our assigned «referee» got a kick out of the theme, as did a number of the «Call of Duty 4» crowds there that day.
Our ref did a great job mixing up the fields, and making sure the birthday girl got her full amount of reserved time even though through being a bit late and them being so busy meant we were onsite for longer than she paid for.
Overall, it was a fantastic day where everyone had a lot of fun and was treated wonderfully by the staff.

I’ve been paintballing all over the greater Seattle area for over 4 years and Doodlebug Sportz has the best indoor and outdoor paintball facility in the Northwest!
Facility:
2 fields. Plenty of parking. Huge staging area for parties and getting ready.
Staffing:
The staff is very helpful and friendly. Their main concern is for everyone to have a safe and fun time. For every new player, they go over rules and how to properly use the equipment. Oh, and turn over of games are quick! No need to wait around all day for the next game to start.
Parties:
This is a great place to hold events for work and personal parties. I wasn’t available for the private work event here, but I heard from everyone that is was a great time.

Checked out DBS Snohomish Outdoor Paintball Park today while doing research for the upcoming Unilocal paintball event.
Staff: Very friendly, good attitudes, and willing to answer just about any and all questions without hesistation… this is very important to the growth of the sport.
Field: There are either two or three fields. One very large urban/​woodsball field which I found to be a really unique L-​shape field. Where one corner is very woodsball-​ish and the other two corners are somewhat of an urban field. It’s looks very fun to play. The other two fields were empty but apparently on Saturday mornins they set up airball/​speedball for those fields, or sometimes take down the center barrier between the two and make one large airball (PSP) field.
Prices: Being DBS, it’s probably one of the cheapest places to play paintball in the area. Their prices for rental/​paint/​gear is very fair, in fact just about the same price for most things as they are on the internet, and it’s very hard in paintball to find local stores that sell things the same price as they are on the internet.
Crowd: I arrived when the field was closing, but it appeared to be a mixed group of seasoned players and new players.
I will write an update as soon as I get to play some paintball here, but the main field does look awesome. However, I do wish they had more availability for their airball field.
