We were forced to use this company by the Home Warranty of America (HWA) that came with the home we just purchased. Within days of moving in, we realized the refrigerator was not cooling properly. The freezer worked, but not the fridge. We were leery after reading several abysmal reviews, but had no choice. On the first visit, the guy came in a regular car (looked like a rental) and left his wife in the car while he came in to look at the fridge. He told us 3 weeks for the part. We mentioned this to our realtor who called HWA and suddenly the part was available in just a couple of days. They said they would come out on a Saturday to do the repair. Called me around 8:30 to say they were coming and showed up around 12:30. The fridge did run for about 10 days but then broke again. The next visit, they gave a window of 10 to 2, and showed up at 2:01. They said they had done such a good job of fixing it, it got too cool and that’s why it broke again – doing the exact same thing it had done in the first place. They told us to just unplug it and let it defrost for a couple of days. That did not solve the problem. Two more visits resulted in not only the fridge being broken, but the freezer quit working as well. HWA offered to send a second company out for an additional 75 $ service fee. We asked if the additional fee was because the first 75 $, two lost loads of food, and the purchase of a small refrigerator so we could have SOMETHING, was not sufficient. After one entire week we heard nothing. We have since bought a new refrigerator. Moral of this story: DON’T USE FIX MY APPLIANCE AND DON’T EVER, EVER, EVER, BUY A WARRANTY FROM HOME WARRANTY OF AMERICA.

Terrible communication. They came out to assess my claim and then I never heard from them again.

One of the gas burners on our stove wouldn’t light. Jimmy came out & fixed it on the spot so that it was usable until a replacement part came in. It was only 3 days later when he returned to put in the new part! Now that’s excellent customer service! He also arrived on the earliest part of the time window they gave us! He was also very professional & courteous! Thanks, Jimmy !!!

Scheduling took a day or two, but the technicians were polite and competent. My refrigerator is running properly again.

Filed a claim with my warranty company, they sent me to Fixx My Appliance, within 30 minutes I received a call from them to schedule my appointment for the next day. The technician came to my home on time, and was very respectful and explained my problem to me. Parts had to be ordered for my refrigerator, took them 4 days to get the parts and come back to install. Very happy with the service I received from start to finish. Which is why i am a little confused by some of these reviews on here. I had a very pleasant experience and would use them again.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! They are negligent, inept, undependable, DISGUSTINGLY RUDE, and extremely inflexible. They never adhere to their wild service schedule, multiple times having us waiting for 5 hours (I twice took an afternoon off work when it was unnecessary because they didn’t arrive within their own absurd window). When I called to discuss it with the dispatcher or their bumpkin supervisor they’re dismissive and rude. I’d caution ANYONE against using this company, even in a bind. After three scheduled visits my appliance is still unrepaired and the home warranty company is just conceding to transfer the work order to a different company. I have to reiterate that the company is a customer service abomination. Appliance repair can be costly be the consequence of incomplete or sloppy work can far exceed the inherent costs of using a good company. Do yourself a favor.

If I could give less stars I would. We were trying to get an ice maker repaired. We had another company look at it and said that the correct part they got from GE would not fit if we wanted to use the dispenser in the door. Our eh one warranty wanted a second opinion so they called this «reliable» company. The «technicians» came out 1 week and diagnosed the ice maker was not working and needed replacement. They ordered the part (the same one that the other company tried) and stated that they would make it fit. We had to call to see if part came in-​scheduled appointment-«tech» installed ice maker then said the ice bucket would not work for the dispenser so I needed to cut the ice bucket so it would fit. That night I noticed that water was dripping from the ice maker after it cycled so I called the“tech”. By the next morning ice had built up so bad it was hitting the freezer fan causing a bunch of noise. I cleared the ice from the fan and called the company back. They came out several days later and even though the «tech» had to chip ice out just to see what was happening told us there was no problem he adjusted something I guess and wanted us to pay another service call! I called the company and asked to
Talk to a manager or owner but was told he was on a call. The lady I talked to was very pleasant and sympathetic. We set up yet another appointment and the same «tech» came out with another part. He once again had to break and chip ice to install this part. The ice maker worked for three cycles and now is pouring water all over the freezer like before. I called the company at 8:44 am and asked to speak with someone in charge but was told they were in a meeting and they would call after the meeting was over. I called back at 3:45pm to see if the meeting ran long or what. The nice lady that I talked to said they had the message and they will call. You guessed it no call. We have given up on this problem and this company have advised our home warranty that this company is not worthy. Sorry this review is so long but I wanted to get the whole story.

OMG. no other way to put it… This company SUCKS. ⁵⁄₂₁ and I am STILL washing my dishes by hand.
