Excellent customer service. The ladies there were very very helpful with everything I needed and also efficient. I will definitely be going back there.

Owner will claim you won’t be charged any late fees for bringing the truck back a little late we only brought it 30 minutes past schedule but we got charged late fees. Never rent from here! They’ll even charge you for a dirty truck even though you cleaned it. Most corrupt U-Haul renter I’ve ever dealt with.

It took over 30 min to do the paperwork because the lady at the counter didn’t know how to use the computer, I actually had to go around the front desk and help her check myself out. They charged me for going 46 miles when I actually went just under 30. They called me the next day to run my credit card again, and even though I explained that I was unhappy with their services, and felt like they were overcharging me, they insisted on charging me the full amount. Terrible customer service.

My experience at A-1 Storage was miserable. I used U-HAUL.COM to book a 10 foot moving truck one Saturday. After receiving online confirmation I called the local facility and asked the earliest time I could pick up my U-HAUL. A-1 Storage advised me I could come at 8:00AM. I secured hourly day labor and arrived early at 8:30AM along with my paid labor. Upon arrival I noticed the staff was just unlocking their door and had just arrived. They advised me my truck had not been returned yet and it was scheduled to arrive at 7:00AM, however the person had not turned it in yet. I explained this was not my problem, they should have alerted me if my truck was not available. I explained I was on a very tight schedule and this was why I had called the previous evening. Next, the owner asks for my credit card and drivers license and I noticed she was re-entering my information. I advised her I had already offered all the information they were asking where she replied her computer had crashed. Once again, I advised this was not my problem and yet again I reiterated I was paying a day labor employee by the hour. I stressed this was the reason I called in advance. I asked if I could have the next truck size up and they replied it was rented already and unavailable. The process took over 40 minutes, setting me very behind for my day of moving. She said she wanted to work with me and offer me the truck until 7PM. I explained to the staff while this was nice, my goal was to start the day as early as possible and I would still be returning the truck at 4:00PM as planned. Upon return I filled the tank up with gas and went into the office. She asked me to then go outside and take a photo of the mileage. Hesitant, I did. I did not feel as if this was my job as I already documented the mileage. She wanted a photo. I explained to her I was behind schedule because of her staff and we needed to expedite this check in process. Next, the owner then asked if I would be so kind and park the uhaul where I found it. I said«This is where I found it, your customer was late». She continued to ask if I would re park it. Finally I said No, I was running late and a member of A-1 Storage needed to park the truck where they wanted it as I was ready to go. I have never experienced such a unorganized group of individuals. I would never recommend this location to friends or family for their moving needs.

Took 45 minutes to get a truck and they gave us the wrong size truck… after giving us the wrong keys. and insisting that I go check the mileage and dents myself. I rated my experience with and the lady called me the next day yelling at me and then hung up on me. Go somewhere else if you are actually looking for any sort of customer service.
