I did my research and I honestly couldn’t trust my own real estate agent referring someone who they have worked before. So I checked Precision Home Inspection of America through BBB dot org to see if they are legitimate business and so they are; then read at least 5 – 8 reviews and I was sure that they are the perfect fit for my needs.
Honestly I loved the service; Eric was really helpful, he kindly explained everything to me at the property and while we were talking; he was also multitasking taking lots of photos. Toward the end of the inspection even though I signed up for the Gold package; because if I am buying a home I want to make sure that its safe (not hazardous), and in good condition; you really don’t want to be cheap in this one, because you will regret it for the rest of your life. So towards the end he told me that since the property doesn’t have a basement we could switch to a lower priced package, but I said No lets keep it as Gold. Believe me; I have had home inspections done before and I don’t remember even one time they give me a discount or offer a lower priced package even after you signed the contract with them, but home precision gave me that option which I felt even more confident that I chose the right people to inspect my home. Thank you so much for the comfort.
I enjoyed the whole process of inspection. Man I wished they had branches all over the State so I can use them forever wherever I go.
I give them A+ in the following categories:
1. Getting back to me when I left a message in less than 5 min
2. Returning Emails and texts quickly
3. Giving detailed information about the property they are inspecting
4. Caring
5. Being on Time at the property
6. Following up on me to make sure if we are satisfied

Thank god for Precision Home Inspection. They are the best and extremely thorough. They are their for the client. I highly recommend them. I honestly want to say, I had used another home inspector. If I had known of Precision home Inspection, I would of not ran into so many problems as I did. Some engineers work for both the client and the seller. Not these guys.
Professional and just a beautiful, pleasant appointment. It went smoothly. I will only refer
them. I have already given their information to my lawyer and to friends that are buying homes. We got the big package that had information for mold and as well that can be
useful with the home buying in a sense. Pictures are taken with every detail that could possibly be given. They know their stuff and what I liked even more was the cost of the problems that they found that can be very helpful as well.

Precision Home Inspection performed a great inspecting the house we are interested in buying. Eric was very professional from the initial phone call to the inspection. The inspection report included photographs, descriptions and price estimates of damage to the house. He also assured us that despite damage to the house, it was a solid purchase. My wife and I appreciated his honesty and we feel a lot better buying the house knowing what needs to be fixed beforehand.
One funny thing to note was that the seller’s real estate agent (who doesn’t work for us) pointed out to me, «where did you hire that guy? He’s really experienced. I’ll get his business card for my clients.» The real estate agent told me that most home inspectors aren’t thorough or experienced and was surprised that Precision Home Inspection found many issues in the house. I completely recommend this company for your home inspection when you are buying a new home.

We were planning to go with another company but they cancelled on us last minute. I frantically called around and luckily found Eric at Precision who was available on Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. We couldn’t have been happier with the service. And the price was lower than the prior company we had booked and included a termite inspection. Great deal! The inspection was extremely thorough. He provided useful suggestions about how we might fix things if we decided to buy. The report was received within 24 hours and was extremely detailed. We couldn’t be happier with the service and price and would absolutely recommend Precision to anyone looking for a home inspection.

Precision was the best inspection team. Hank is very professional and knowledgeable I could tell just within minutes of speaking with him. He always answered my phone call when I had any questions. We needed to get an inspection done on a home ASAP — but because the owners are Orthodox Jewish, the only day possible was Sunday. I called around and most home inspectors were not available. I found Precision Home Inspection Of America on Unilocal and gave them a call. Hank answered and made feel at ease right away, explaining the different levels of service and what each one offers. He spoke to me at length and patiently answered all my questions thoroughly. They (Hank and Eric) are a father-​son team. Hank set forth their experience and certifications — easing any concerns I had as a new home buyer. Best of all he said they could do it that Sunday, no problem! His quote for the silver level service was reasonable, too.
On Sunday, Eric arrived exactly on time. His is a very friendly and likable guy. To say he was thorough is an understatement! The inspection took over 3 hours, covering every inch of the property. He was extremely patient with me, letting me observe each and every step of the process and explaining everything along the way. Eric completely answered all my many questions (I had a lot of them!) in a way I could understand. He showed me every condition that could be a potential issue and offered his advice and experience in terms of remaining life and repair/​replacement costs for each part of the home. Eric even offered his experience in terms of negotiating repairs and reducing the purchase price of the house to ensure we are getting our money’s worth, will have positive equity, and not get in over our heads.
We received our complete 53 page inspection report promptly the next day. It is easy to read and full of illustrative photos, highlighting all the issues clearly and explaining exactly what must be done. It even includes and appendix of Repair and Replacement Costs giving price estimates for all possible repairs/​upgrade that may need to be done so we can get a rough estimate of what everything would cost us.

We used Precision Home Inspection because they came highly recommended from friends of ours who bought a home a year ago, and they did not disappoint. Eric was extremely thorough, and was not at all bothered by me standing over his shoulder — in fact, he went out of his way to make sure I saw everything he saw. At no point did I feel like he was rushing or just going through the motions. Everything we discussed and noticed at the inspection was well documented in writing and photographs in the report. Additionally, there was a section in the basement we could not inspect because it was sealed. Eric actually made time in his schedule to come back the next day and finish the inspection free of charge. I thought that was a very nice gesture, because obviously traveling and time cost money.
What really impressed me the most was Eric’s honesty — which I guess is unfortunate that honesty has become the exception in business. But my father was suggesting radon testing, which was not something I was concerned about on the island because I’ve learned because we live on sand that is not a concern. Eric confirmed that, and said while he would have no problem conducting the test (he had it there in his car), that I would essentially be wasting my money. But he also suggested if I wanted to I could get the test from Home Depot. He actually spent 10 minutes describing how to do the test, where to send results, etc.
I don’t make many recommendations because I am the type of person who would feel guilty if you didn’t have the same experience as I did — but I have no problem recommending this company to my friends and family.

Precision Home Inspection was the right choice! I found them simply from googling «long island home inspectors» and I could not be more pleased with my decision. I had them perform both the inspection as well as the final walkthrough, and I was so impressed with the thoroughness and precision, that I am definitely going to refer them and hire them for any investment properties. Upon completing the initial inspection, we received a 60+ page inspection report highlighting every aspect of the house — something we still reference to this day. I found Precision Home Inspection on Unilocal and they definitely lived up to the expectations. Very professional and arrived on time. Gave me a clear overview during the walk trough and then sent me a detailed report the next day. Unfortunately, I ended up not buying the house but will definitely use them again when I find the right one.

I was referred to Precision by my attorney when evaluating a home purchase. The deal fell through, but I was so incredibly impressed with Precision that my Fiancée and I again hired them to inspect the home we ended up buying and currently reside in.
Precision is value added in every category. Both times I called to schedule an inspection my call was returned within an hour. Availability was flexible and the team over there made every effort to accommodate, which was huge, considering our second inspection was in Queens and had to be squeezed in on a weekend. This proved no problem at all, and our inspector, Eric, was there early, despite it being a considerable distance from his office.
When the Precision team performs an inspection, think of it like an interactive computer program that you can click or point at any item and get a detailed explanation of its function. Eric we found particularly personable, as he not only has an encyclopedic knowledge of the constructions process and possible issues, but he is able to offer preventative suggestions that are not only practical, but cost effective. We learned so much at the inspection for such a reasonable price that we already recommended Precision to a few friends that are shopping for homes.
We would use Precision again in a heartbeat and offer our strongest recommendation for the quality and level of service they provide.
