$ 119 a night. Clean, modern & with a sharp(gorgeous) gal at the night desk who pulled up our loyalty account faster than ANY prior manager! We were delighted to see a microwave in the room to put a heater on our decaf(they were out of tea bags). It was a little odd that the bedside lamp didn’t allow for light on one side and/OR the other, but we were exhausted anyway. Here’s a little detail that once I noticed seemed bizarre, the accent wall behind the beds had a lovely graphic branch motif, but the wall you face was sterile white; no adornment whatsoever. The interior designer opted for the stark shelf décor system. So as you lay there only a small framed piece of art leaned against the polar background, balanced by the bright green clock beacon of the microwave. Breakfast had the typical wide variety of morning options. The coffee was just OK& there was no cream(although plenty of the little plastic half-&-half thimbles), just saying — a great cup of coffee goes a long way

We stopped over on our road trip from NY to Florida. We got here around 11pm and they gave us their last 2 rooms. Very comfortable beds, extremely clean — even the carpets looked new, with a small fridge and microwave in the room. Staff was great and the free breakfast was really good. A nice mix of hot and cold foods. The breakfast attendant was very helpful and went out of his way to help everyone including preparing food for some of the visitors. We would definitely stop here again.

Beware… We have never stayed here, have been Marriott rewards members for years, and feel others should be forewarned about the local phone customer service we received. On 12÷27÷14 we received an email conf for reserv. for 12÷28÷14 that we never made. Alarmed, because our Rewards # and name were in the email, and concerned about identity theft, my husband called the hotel directly and spoke to Tyeasha. On site, she may be great… but on the phone we found her to be patronizing, «sweetly condescinding,» endlessly babbling about«not to worry about it», «delete the email.»(We suspect a another member with a similar name had reserved the room and a keying error was made with our account information.) Even more, the other family didn’t know about the error and never received the written confirmation that should have been theirs! We both tried to talk with her merely wanting re-assurance that our account was not being used and that our personal information was safe. She spoke non-stop, never allowing either of us to finish a sentence or fully explain our concerns. She cut us off, spoke over us, drowned us out, which came across as ingratiating, and never even apologized for the error. We were exhausted and the phone call was an disaster. Exasperated, we called Marriott corporate customer service line. They immediately corrected the error. We also learned from Corporate that she’d apparently done some damage control by contacting the other customer by phone to confirm the reservation after she hung up on us. A simple apology and an opportunity to voice our concern was all we wanted. Tyeasha seemed more concerned with BEINGRIGHT – than DOINGTHERIGHTTHING. To us this means: Listening well, Acknowledging the problem, Apologizing for the inconvenience, Getting the facts and offering a solution.

Stayed here on a business trip. This is a nice hotel. My room had a fridge and microwave, which I wasn’t expecting. The bed was soft and comfortable. There’s a pool in the lobby, though I didn’t get to use it, it looked nice. There are two computers in the lobby guests can use which came in handy since I left mine home and had some work I needed to do. The hotel also offer free continental breakfast. The outlets are in walking distance.

This was a last minute decision and I am very glad we made it! We stopped here to avoid hurricane Arthur. The rates were excellent, it is very clean, modern and the staff is very friendly! This is the place to stay if you are in Smithfield! It is right near the outlets and restaurants. The breakfast is decent, they had the usual eggs, sausage, yogurt, and fruit. The make your own waffles were delicious!!! There is plenty of seating and there is a nice outdoor patio. The king size rooms were very nice, quiet and comfortable. Overall I was extremely pleased with this hotel! We used Unilocal reviews to make our decision and they were right! The night concierge Robert was very friendly and helpful.

I give this place 5 stars based on the level of hotel it is. Its not the Ritz or the Plaza but don’t tell the staff that; their friendly smiles, greetings and attitudes are beyond what you find at most high end hotels. The place is spotlessly clean and they work hard to keep it that way. Will be back here again for sure.

This was a totally unexpected, yet fantastic hotel experience. My family found ourselves in Smithfield and needed a hotel room for one night. We choose Fairfield Inn & Suites due to it being so new. It was a little more than it’s competitors but totally worth it. We checked in about 8am, yes you read that, they let us check in at 8 o’clock in the morning. The woman at the front desk was super accomodating and friendly. The cleaning crew in the halls as we walked to our room were all friendly as well. The room itself, king bed suite, was clean, neat and modern. There are 2 televisions, one in the bedroom part and one in the sitting side of the room. The free wifi was actually fast! I measured it using Speedtest and it was about 7Mbps in both directions. Also helpful is the zillion outlets in the room which makes charging all of your devices easy. I can recommend this hotel with 100% certainty that you too will be satisfied.
