Driving through the town so we stopped for lunch. Everything was terrible besides the kids meal. We didn’t get our meal till 50min after we ordered our waiter came to our table total of 4times. The chicken and dumplings were cold and the hamburger was dry, never got a refill on anything. Overall we had a terrible lunch. We won’t be eating here again.

Always a safe bet to eat at a Cracker Barrel when you have a craving for some down home comfort food. This location is no exception. Food and service here was very good. The quality of the food again was pretty consistent with what you would expect at any one of the Cracker Barrel locations. Since it was a Monday evening when we visited there was no wait and the food came very quickly. We have eaten at this location on a couple occasions and so far have not been disappointed. We will definitely come here again… most likely for breakfast as that is in our opinion the best food they make.

Pretty good cracker barrel but don’t get the roast beef — a small slice of fatty tasteless beef drowned in a swampy gelatinous gravy — not the lean, flaky, flavorful beef you would expect. Family liked their chicken and dumplings though.

I’m sorry. The chicken and dumplings is not pleasant. At least put some gravy browning in it to make it look appetizing. I order broccoli and a sweet potato to go with it. Broccoli good… sweet potato… covered in brown sugar and cinnamon. Seriously, why? Are they trying to keep your blood sugar high for the onward journey! Not good, I’ll stick to breakfast in future. Nothing against this particular Cracker Barrel, just them all!

No stranger to road trips north, I’ve had my share of Cracker Barrel goodness in the past. But this was my first time roadtripping south. Me and the road-weary foodwife made it here(on a tip that NC CBs are superior) towards the tail-end of our 2000 mile round trip journey. That turned out to be a great decision. If you’ve been to one Cracker Barrel, you’ve been to every franchise in existence. Sitting down after 10 hours of nonstop driving, we ordered heavily from the chicken-fried categories: steak and chicken. Accompanied with sides of fried apples, stuffing, string beans, mac n cheese, cheesy hash, fried okra. Across the board really dang tasty and well made(great real smokiness to the string beans) sides and mains with the worst being at the minimum, textbook. Our server was sweet and quick, simultaneously making us feel welcome and helping us get back on the road quickly. Chain comfort food in a southern territory? I’ll stop every time!

I love this place. The atmosphere and the store are very unique. Usually the people are friendly but tonight this is not the case. Our waitress has not smiled one time and is very impatient andd keeps rushing us! Not too happy right now…

You can’t go wrong with a Cracker Barrel. Consistently delicious, no matter which meal you plan on eating. The country biscuits and sausage gravy are probably the best ever! The store is always filled with cute knickknacks. I always get Christmas ornaments for the family!!!

Ok… I have to say here I was impressed at times and really unimpressed at other times. Pros: First hostess when we checked in was friendly!(Not so impressive was the hostess who took over for her) Food was good! I ordered the lemon pepper rainbow trout with okra, mac and cheese, and a salad. The okra was great, mac and cheese(always delish) was good, and the flavor of the lemon pepper rainbow trout was awesome! My boyfriend got a country fried steak(YUM), with mashed potatoes and brown gravy(YUMYUM) and broccoli(ehhh), and our friends also commented their food was delicious! The store in the front had some cool stuff, and the atmosphere over all was friendly! I had a good time. Cons: First of all, when we first checked in the hostess was very nice with a smile on her face and taking control of the crazy amount of people in there(ITWASPACKED!) Then, another hostess took over(sad I didn’t catch her name) but she was just a mess. She called our party of four to the front. But when we got there she was just talking to some guy on the side and didn’t even acknowledge us… Whatever, we thought atleast we get to sit down and eat now! We were starving after a long day of shopping… WRONG. She called us to the front for what?!? We waited there for FIFTEEN minutes for our server… HUH!!! She never said one word to us… The only time our party was ever acknowledged by her(if this even counts as acknowledgement) is when she picked up the phone or walkie talkie or however the servers communicate to say«Yo(insert name here), can you pick up your party» uhhhhh… ok? Then the whole time she was telling this guy that she was talking to how she hates it when it is so busy and that the servers are a mess and just talking smack the whole time. eh bad start. Our waitress was nice though! She apologized in advance if she took long as she was taking care of a part of 18 but she was actually very quick and was always at our table making sure we were alright!(She couldve been there a little less and maybe not have continuously told us stories about how she was a bartender for four years and that the young kids at the club had more energy than her, and how the music made her deaf, and the stories about how her son would get mad when the would go fishing and she wouldnt cook them… but anyways… she was nice lol) the ONLY bad thing I have to say about the food was the skin they left on the bottom of my lemon pepper trout was SO soggy. it was almost slimy! And i really usually like fish skin(Actually I like all types of skin) but ew… that was just gross, so I left it there… Overall, this restaurant was an EH experience…

I have to give it 5 stars bcs everyone was soooo friendly(Amy, Chris, etc). The food is economically priced & tasted good. It was POURINGRAIN& we stayed longer than we’d expected, so we ended up in the store part w/a mgr named Susan showing us the tricks to their PEGGAME. So friendly! AND, ladies – BONUS: I eyeballed some cute, lacy ecru scarves & Susan pointed out that tonight they were doing some resetting of retail product, so guess what — the scarves were 70% off. WHAT?!! Merry Christmas to everyone; I bought 8! Now how d’ya like them apples, folks?!!

The best Cracker Barrel we’ve visited by far. The Staff is very attentive, they check and recheck you through out the meal. You get to shop cool items before or after you indulge great country cooked food. The meatloaf could stand to cook for another 20 minutes, little charring is good. The gravy is dynamite. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu, don’t stick with only a few items. One of the best waitresses in the world works here, hopefully we get her again.

It’s a Cracker Barrel just like every other. Service was friendly and prompt, the menu was the normal«home cookin» style fare. No complaints here. The chicken and dumplings were good and so were the carrots. The bathrooms were clean which is why I always stop at Cracker Barrels on road trips. If you want decent southern style food, this is where you’ll find it.

Took the queen for her first visit to a Cracker Barrel. I admit I think they are over rated, but my sampler platte with chicken & dumplings, three veggie sides, biscuit, and ham was not too bad. The queen elected a specialty salad with some type pineapple dressing which she found enjoyable. Top notch employees were very friendly and on top of everything. Much better than the NJ Cracker Barrel I visited and swore not to return. So I shall return to CB…

Oh my god! My mouth was in heaven here. I came home for a funeral and I was starving and exhausted. My mom suggested we go here and I’m like anywhere that has food. Ok I know no one in la(where I live) knows what chicken pastry is but it’s one of my favorite dishes. Cracker Barrel nailed it. I was amazing to my great surprise. The shrimp platter was huge. My eyes popped out when I saw it. Very good as well. But the best thing was this apple cobbler I got. It was huge. Yummy appleness on the bottom and amazing strudel in the middle topped off with vanilla ice cream I was stuffed. Oh how I wish you open up a location here in Los Angeles

Starting a day of outlet shopping off at Cracker Barrel. The kids are not convinced they will like this place but I told them to imagine being at Granny’s. :)

Sadly ate here for our last minute anniversary dinner plans. Amazing how much a simple fireplace can play into your decision making on a cold winter’s night. I usually eat their breakfast no matter what time of day it is, but I went for the burger on sourdough instead. It was a good choice. I’m a bread and beef person so I was satisfied. I do like their tag-team approach to service. Different folks took my order, brought our food, filled our drinks, brought me mustard, and came by to ask how our meal was. I was a happy camper and the fire place was roaring and warm!

Nice stopover after outlet shopping. I tried the chicken and dumplings, which came with 2 sides, biscuits and cornbread. Good service, fast, and inexpensive.

A consistent Cracker Barrel right off of I-95 and in front of the Tanger Outlet shopping plaza. I was picking up my niece and nephew who live nearby and this was their choice for lunch before the day’s entertainment. Homemade Chicken Salad for me was mostly lettuce and a lot of chicken salad, Chicken and Dumplings for one of the kids and a Chicken Tenders meal for the other. Quick, efficient and friendly. Same as every other CB, everywhere!

When you walk into a Cracker Barrel, you expect this exact kind of Cracker Barrel.
