Spiro Karras, DDS – Advanced Center for Oral Surgery

I had been having pain from my wisdom teeth for about 2 months. I saw my dentist on a Monday and he noticed they were impacted so he referred me to Dr. Karras. I called the following day and they were able to schedule me an appointment for that day. The waiting room was clean, staff was super friendly and inviting. They took X-​rays and Dr. Karras came into the room and explained every detail of the X-​ray to me. He was very thorough. He told me I needed to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed since they were all impacted and could possibly cause more damage in the future if I didn’t remove them. I was able to get an appointment for the surgery the following day (Wednesday)! I was so scared because I’ve never gotten any surgery done but his staff did a wonderful job at keeping me relaxed and Dr. Karras made conversation to take my mind off the surgery. Before I knew it I woke up feeling giggly with gauze in my mouth. I felt mild to moderate pain the next few days but overall the experience was quick and almost painless.

Dr. Karras was incredibly nice. My son was heading back to college and Dr. Karras squeezed us in for a last minute consultation. When he determined he would need a small surgery to correct the problem in his mouth, he was kind enough to drop everything and do it before we left even though it was literally the end of the day. That kind of flexibility and concern is rare and I’m so appreciative of his willingness to help us out before my son had to leave town.

Since the moment we walked into the very clean and refreshing waiting room on Saturday and were greeted by a friendly staff at the desk, I knew this was going to be a awesome experience. Dr. Karras the oral surgeon came in and introduced himself and made us feel comfortable and really was very informative regarding the procedure. He was very caring and sincere and made us feel relaxed and that is an important part of the puzzle. Everything was explained during the entire process and it was actually pain free. We want to thank him for his absolute professionalism and his awesome work with the removal of a #32 wisdom tooth. We highly recommend this office for any dental needs you made need in the future.

I recently had a referral from my Dentist for Dr. Karras. I had very expensive work in my upper mouth but was loosing one tooth at a time due to a previous trauma. I was at a point where I needed professional consulting on which way to go, or what options I had. He suggested the all on four procedure. I had it done and could not be happier. Short of having your own teeth, it is the best and a fraction of the cost of full upper implants. I could not afford them and did not want false teeth. I experienced minimal pain and discomfort. Him and his staff are pro“s. They are all so helpful and encouraging. I can call any time, even after hours and the Dr. gets back to me within minutes. You could not find a better Oral Surgeon than Spiro Karras.

Dr. Karras was referred to me by my orthodontics. This was one of the best referrals I could have ever gotten. I had to get all four of my wisdom teeth taken out along with oral surgery for two dental implants that I needed. My whole experience there was beyond outstanding. I never waited past my appointment time. They were very punctual. The office staff and the staff that helped Dr. Karras during my procedures were always friendly and kind, which made me feel very comfortable. Vivian was always there for any questions I had regarding insurance, appointment times, payments, and etc. This was very helpful. Throughout each procedure I had done, Dr. Karras always made sure I was at ease. This I appreciated a lot because I was nervous to have these procedures done. He was very approachable and very patient. He answered all questions I had regarding my procedures and kept me informed of how everything was going to be done. After each procedure I felt no pain at all, just a little bit of discomfort. Dr. Karras is very brilliant and talented at what he does and I would 110% recommend him to anyone, especially to my family and friends.

Dr. Spiro Karras and his staff are wonderful. I had oral surgery a couple times with him and my daughter recently did too. I was very scared about these procedures and let me tell you it was no big deal at all. Dr. Karras explains everything so well and has a very calm nature that makes you feel relaxed and confident. The procedures were quick and painless. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent oral surgeon. Also, I want to compliment his wonderful staff. They are very friendly, professional and courteous. They answer all your questions and it is very easy to get a hold of them on the phone without being put on hold for a long time (like many doctor offices do). I highly recommend Dr. Spiro Karras.

Just had the well-​known «all-​on-​four» procedure, and I couldn’t be happier! Dr. Karras has the experience and credentials to handle difficult or complex cases with ease, and the support team is literally the best I’ve ever encountered in a medical setting.

I was referred to Dr. Spiro Karras by my Dentist to perform a surgical procedure for my ONE and ONLY wisdom tooth. (I was told I was lucky to only have one). As Pictured.
Well, this stubborn so called wisdom tooth was growing into my teeth pushing my teeth forward and together.
It was time for me to get this guy out once and for all. I called the office on Tuesday August 25^th and an amazing lady Vivan helped me. She was kind and very efficient. She managed to get me in on the following Monday at 8:30am. (⁸⁄₃₁)
I was called in, sat in my lovely room with a huge screen tv with a panoramic of my mouth. (so cool) In comes the Doc. He was so welcoming, nice, informative and prepared me for the worst. He was SUPER COMFORTING.
Since my Wisdom tooth was impacted it required lots of Novocain and a brilliant man like himself.
He told me the procedure would take about 15 min. It took only 12. It was so easy, painless and he was AMAZING.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Im on my 3^rd day now with no swelling and I didn’t have to take my nacros as he prescribed. I was strictly on tylenol. (picture of me was on the next day of my surgery)
Stop stalling time, Get it out and get it down.

I don’t want to go over dental troubles our family members has gone through over years. But I feel lucky to live within the proximity of Dr. Karras. He is caring honest and most of all very skilled. I wouldn’t hesitate to go see him if I needed an oral surgeon.

I had my oral surgery for removal of three wisdom teeth this morning. My first visit with Dr. karras was a few weeks ago when my dentist referred me to him for impacted wisdom teeth. My whole experience, during both visits, was wonderful. They quickly did the necessary imaging and the Doctor took adequate time to discuss his rationale on why he only wanted to remove 3 rather than 4 etc. The office staff is extremely friendly and Vivian was so helpful in clearing up insurance issues and filing the claim for my reimbursement. The actual procedure went well except for that I started to break out in hives for some reason when I don’t have any known allergies to any of the medications used. I was still out of it so I kinda started panicking but Dr. karras and his staff were able to calm me down, give me Benadryl and allow for the break out to go away without panic at all. They were comforting and very attentive. Dr. Karras even took it upon himself to write out an itemized list of every medication administered and recommended I get allergy skin testing to know for the future. I was a little knocked out most of the day from the anesthesia and Benadryl but by 3 pm I was back functioning at baseline with pain less server than the pain I had from a cavity a few weeks ago. My stitches are neatly done and tucked away as to not irritate my cheeks, gums or tongue and I barely even know they are there. None of my family believes that I had three wisdom teeth extracted and that I have stitches in my mouth. This doctor has skill like I have never seen before and yet he is still extremely personable and takes time to talk to his patients and his staff is just as amazing and the whole office runs in a timely manner. Hopefully I will never have to visit them again myself but I will most definitely refer every family member and friend to this office.
