Referred here due to two different types of cancer on my face in 2012: melanoma and carcinoma. His practice is so well run, it is(almost) a pleasure to be a patient. The administrative details are handled smoothly(scheduling, insurance, etc). The information provided by the nurse and the doctor made the whole process clear and less stressful. Tho they are busy, no one seemed rushed. Dr. Levy actually looks at you and listens to you and communicates in a kind manner that is understandable. And the procedures(two of them) went just as they predicted. I was anxious about any scarring on my face. Levy heard me and instead of getting defensive, referred me to a colleague(more of a plastic surgeon) who closed up the larger cut. I am cancer free with barely any visible scar. Going back(two years later) for some elective facial laser treatments.

Dr. Levy removed the margins of a partially removed skin cancer(he was not responsible for the first attempt at removal). Having any kind of cancer is never a good thing, but if I get it again I would want Dr. Levy to remove it from the start. The staff at NorthShore were so kind and helped to ease my mind about having to get this thing removed-AGAIN! His nurse was hilarious and Dr. Levy was realistic. He presented 3 options and shared the pros and cons of each. I chose to have the scar and margins cut out-scaring was not of much concern, it was my fault I ended up with skin cancer! Dr. Levy was quick and even did a subcutaneous stitch to help minimize the scar. It’s been about a month and the scar looks great and is healing nicely. I would recommend him to anyone in my family-that’s how good he is!
