I booked a microdermabrasion session through Groupon. The staff was friendly & hospitable. This was my first time ever getting a microdermabrasion treatment. Evelina made it a very fun & informative experience for me. I’ll be sure to come back again soon.

Sono Bella Clinica and staff are fantastic. I am always greeted with a smile and the procedure results exceed my expectations, in addition the prices for all services are reasonable. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and professional. They politely treat clients individually to answer questions or address any concerns and never appear to be in a hurry. An added bonus, salon does follow-up visits to see results of procedures/services and inquires about client satisfaction. I’ve been a satisfied customer for a long time.

Beautiful, modern interior and nice atmosphere, the girls that wok there were really pleasant and attentive. The solo bed is really good and you sweat out almost two pounds of water weight while you get a relaxing massage for your face and shoulders. Make sure to drink a lot of water before and after. I also got Vella treatments, which I hoped would work better than the results I got so I’m not the happiest with that. They have an open house from time to time so make sure to check that out and you might get a deal on some treatments along with free little facial the same day.

A good friend of mine referred me to Sono Bella Clinica. My first visit was to check out the facilities & get information on services & prices. The staff were all very warm and friendly. I was offered lemon water and hot tea before being given a tour. They offer an array of beauty services at reasonable & competitive prices. I scheduled my 1^st appointment which was wonderful! I relaxed & rejuvenated and scheduled for the my next appointment. I feel it just keeps getting better with each visit. Thanks Sono Bella Staff, your the best!

I specifically went in hoping to have the redness and puffiness under my eye reduced. The lady assured me she would NOT use a chemical peel on my face — and then she put a chemical peel on my face. It BURNED. When I complained — she put another product to try to alleviate the burn. And then she tried to get me to purchase a moisturizer even though she said she would try it to alleviate the redness! AFTER burning my face w/a chemical peel. When I tried complaining, the Mgr covered up for the her employee and said she didn’t use the chemical treatment, even though she did! They didn’t even try to make up for it! I can’t believe how deceitful they were. I hope she didn’t do it on purpose — and got caught up in following her mini facial routine, and she did try to make up for it by putting more muck on my face, even though it still burned over a half an hour later. But I still think that management should’ve acknowledged that maybe she made a mistake and they should have tried to make up for it. I know what she did is wrong, but I can’t believe anyone could be that evil.

Horrible service!!! The women were very judgemental there, and even said «who only brings $ 100 to a spa and who doesn’t have a credit card in the 21^st century». They were very pushy on selling certain services and products. They were just plain rude! If you work with clients learn how to be kind or just take some classes in how to be a good sales person. Treat people how you want to be treated or your business won’t succeed!

I found this spa through an online deal for laser hair removal. The hair removal was pretty standard (6 sessions) with good results, but in my experience, you need touch ups with any hair removal, so don’t expect all hair to be gone in just 6 sessions.
When I started going there they were at their prior location just down the street, then they moved into a bigger beautiful 2 story space. I have to say the new space is gorgeous! They offer a bunch of unique treatments, like cellulite reduction and ultraviolet sauna as well as standard services like nails and facials.
While getting lasered, I was offered a package deal for their weight loss sauna and so I splurged for it before my brother’s wedding. I haven’t seen weight loss from using the sauna, but they give you the most heavenly facial massage while you are «cooking» in there, so it is relaxing nonetheless. I would probably have better results with diet and exercise, but the sauna hour is a nice break, so I keep going. I will definitely be back to try more treatments!

Sono Bella, Sono Nervoso! But don’t worry my nerves were put at ease. I went to Sona Bella Clinica for my first ever photo facial after noticing some, eghem, imperfections if you will, in the mirror as of late. (I swear does EVERYTHING start to go down hill when you turn 30??) My friend had been here before and told me they do a really good job so I took the hike out to Morton Grove. I was pleasantly suprised walking in, the place was very inviting and the staff friendly. Now I had no clue as to what type of treatment I should get, and this is one area I am completely lacking in experience. I talked to Yulia (fingers crossed im spelling it right?!) She was very patient and went over a bunch of options with me and gave me recommendations based on what my concerns were. I decided the photo facial series, and I was super nervous. Is this going to hurt? Will I look scary for a few days? Im usually a big baby when it comes to stuff like this… She seemed to notice my hesitation and was very understanding. She chatted with me, kept me updated on what she was doing and distracted me from my fears. (Which ended up being for nothing, it stung a little bit and there was some reddness that was gone within an hour or two.) I am extremely pleased with my results! My skin looks and feels amazing, I’m now thinking about going back for some botox? You know, its preventive… right?

I came here during an open house a couple months ago for Botox and it was great. There were a bunch of people already there but I didn’t even wait 10 minutes for my treatment. The doctor was very nice and knowledgable and walked me through every step of the way, this was my first time doing anything like this to my face, and I’m also scared of needles, but I didn’t feel a thing. They also usually also throw in a bunch of other services for free so you can try out LHR or a facial too. I will definitely be going back for other open houses.

This place is like a fairytale, they provide so many treatments. When i go there i want to spend thousands dollars! The aestheticians are very professional and friendly, prices are fare. I got very good deal on the open house for Foto facial, and so happy about this (i had acne problem and scars, and now my face look amazing!). And one more important thing that they do 60 to 70 shots of Foto facial, so it’s grate, because i checked other med. spas and they do up to 40 shots only.

I’ve seen «deals» from this place all over. I finally caved and bought one — only to find that they had pulled the old bait and switch. I bought a photofacial session. When I got there, they told me it was only one pulse. ONE? To put it in perspective, I’ve had this service before at other places. Typically, on my face, I get anywhere from 25 – 30 pulses. I see great results too. So, you can imagine the shock I got when I arrived there to find out that my $ 109 covered only «one pulse» — but they would be happy to do my entire face (the 25 – 30 pulses) for $ 300. Needless to say, I walked out. Save your money and go to a place that’s upfront and honest. These people aren’t.

I went there with a deal from living
(Microdermabrasion for $ 49).
Problem 1 — Painful Microdermabrasion .
It was the most painful facial I’ve ever had. I have a higher pain tolerance (I’m fine with needles or laser treatments), but for this, I had tear running down my face. I asked my friends who had Microdermabrasion done at other places but they said it wasn’t that painful to them.
Problem 2 — Short timing the service
I was in the room only for 15 min and was told that it was over (I was glad it was because it was so painful). They spent last 5 min trying to sell me their products.
Problem 3 — Wrong service
After the service, I asked the front desk girl for the total so that I could tip on the pre-discounted amount. I was told that I received $ 60 worth service. I was a bit confused because I thought the deal was for higher amount (unfortunately, it’s been a while since I purchased the deal and my memory was vague). I came home and reviewed the terms on the deal again. I found out I actually paid $ 49 for $ 120 value Microdermabrasion service.
Problem 4 — Bad customer service
I called the Spa and explained the situation. Instead of trying to talk to the people and find out what actually happened, the girl was insisting that the 15min service was actually worth $ 120.
It’s the pricing on their brochure
30 min Microdermabrasion $ 60
75min Facial with Microdermabrasion $ 110
And she is saying that the 15min session is worth $ 120 because they used a better material? I would believe if it was Peninsula Hotel that charges $ 120 for 15min service, but not here.
If she admitted that they gave me $ 60 service instead of $ 120 by mistake, I would have just let it go. I just can’t believe I paid $ 49 +$ 10 tip for 15min painful microdermabrasion facial. Never going back to this place again.

I’ve been going there for the laser hair removal for about 2 years now and I have found a miraculous change in the amount of hair on my legs! a previous reviewer explained that she had to dry shave when she arrived for her treatment and thought that the laser was painful after doing so… this is because she did not listen to the original, CLEAR instructions that the wonderful ladies at Sono Bella give to you during your first consultation. Yes, you must shave before you go in order for the treatment to work. Every time I have gone I feel comfortable, taken care of, and relaxed. The people there always care about how you are doing and make sure that you have the best treatment you can get. They always call you to remind you of your appointment and afterwards to find out how it went. I would recommend them to anyone who is willing to try laser treatment because it has been one of the most effective methods in order to stop the breakouts and razer burn I got from shaving.

I was there for Laser Hair Removal. My first time there was not so impressed. They told me not to shave the area so they could see the hair line. Then, the aesthetician asked me to dry-shave the area in front of her. I felt embarrased. That was horrible! No shaving cream was offered either. I cut myself several places because of the dry-shaving. After dry-shaving, the laser was performed. I totally think that it was the the worst idea to do the laser right after the dry-shaving because it was really hurt! and painful! I must stop the aesthetician many many times. I wish I have not bought the package with them.

So i have not been there yet so I cannot say how their actually services are, BUT that is only because I cant get an appointment.
I called to make an appt. and was told I could only have that service on a tuesday. So i waited a few weeks and called again and another girl said I coud do that whenever, and she made me an appointment. HOWEVER, I called to make sure I was still in their books and I wasn;t.
Their communication is obvisouly horrible.

This review is long overdue. I’ve been going to Sono Bella for years now, and it all started with one small area that I wanted to get lasered and now I’m getting basically my entire body done. Monica is my usual esthetician and is such a pleasure to be around (even when things may be a little uncomfortable, she is so patient and understanding and makes the whole experience a breeze).
The gals up front are also super friendly and helpful. Whenever I call to make an appointment or go in for an appointment they are full of good energy and offer the best service.
The rooms are spotless and decorated in warm colors, with soothing music playing, I sometimes fall asleep when getting my treatments. Also, I was never huge on facials, but am really starting to be thanks to the incredible job they do.
I would recommend them to anyone and everyone in the market for laser hair removal. 5 starts, easily.
