Robinson’s is a family-​owned homemade chocolate shop located in Montgomery Shopping Center for over 35 years. We offer over 100 different kinds of chocolates (caramels, butter creams and almond crunch– just to name a few). We also provide chocolate birthday parties, make custom gift baskets, and we ship anywhere!

History

Established in 1974.

Robinson’s was originally opened in 1974 by James K. Robinson with his son (James T. Robinson) and daughter-​in-​law (Nancy Robinson). James K. was an original candy maker in the 1920’s and Robinson’s is still using his recipes. In 2007, Pattie Robinson (third generation) started helping out and has put her touches on the business with delicious wine-​infused chocolates, custom gift baskets and chocolate birthday parties.

Robinson’s Fine Candies was officially opened in January of 1978. Since it’s opening in Montgomery Shopping Center, Robinson’s has been a hit. When you walk in the door, the wonderful aroma of homemade chocolates helps you step a little lighter towards your various selections. Now comes the fun! You can choose from over 100 different selections that range from creams, caramels, nuts, fruits and novelties such as pretzels, graham crackers and oreos, all in either milk or dark chocolate. We also offer dietetic chocolate that has no sugar or salt (also made the old fashioned way, so there is no bitter aftertaste). Special occasion? You can also choose from our various gift selections or specialty chocolate molds that range from sports to business themes (computer, fire engine etc.). Holiday? Pumpkin caramels at Halloween. Christmas mints. Irish potatoes for St. Patrick’s Day. And every holiday in between. Stop in and see what suits you today!
