I love going to Theresa’s pet store! The staff is welcoming and very knowledgeable. There is a wide variety of pet food and supplies. There are vet services here as well. Great place!

Great customer service ! I truly loved the prices and knowledgeable staff. I found my new pet store.

Went out looking for a bird cage and found a very nice one at Theresa’s. They measured it for us and even helped us get it into the car. I always enjoy shopping for pet supplies at Theresa’s. Plus, they make your shopping experience nicer by offering free popcorn. Yum.

We will never shop at Theresa’s Country Feed again. We had to return some unopened food because our dogs have become allergic. We had a receipt but it was barely past 30 days like 40 days. We dealt with Sue who made a big deal it was over 30 days. It clearly says on the receipt no refund without a receipt. We did not argue with her we just stood there let her talk. We even thanked her for the refund. As we shopped for food our dogs could eat, Sue bad mouthed us to her co-​workers. Before you bad mouth customers that spend a lot of money at your store at least wait until they are out of the store. Never again.

New ownership has really taken this place down. Went there this morning and spent 60.00 on a bag of food that used to be about 45.00. Didn’t even get the bag out of my car and it splits down the middle. Call the store and they suggest calling the manufacturer because there is nothing they can do for me. Forget about the fact that I buy 2 bags of this a month and high end bird food. Guess I will be shopping somewhere else from now on. Repeat clientele is what this independent store needs but is now losing it. This is sad. I have seen the old way this store was run and loved giving them my business. I tried hard. The prices went up, service down, and now no desire to try to see what they can do to contact the manufacturer themselves and help a person out. Good thing God has blessed me with enough money to shop elsewhere for the same product and feed the dogs on all the lost food.

There are certain practices and actions subsidiaries and side businesses working inside Teresa’s that are used that I simply can’t agree with.

The customer service was appalling. When a customer greets you, you acknowledge them. You don’t just start the transaction and start talking about lunch with ur coworkers. They should be ashamed of themselves, I have never felt as unappreciated as a customer before now. I will NOT be coming back.

I’m a pretty big fan of Theresa’s. It might not be as polished, big, or carry as much variety as say Petsmart… But I love supporting a locally owned store. We buy the majority of our dog food and treats here. I love that they have many 100% natural ingredient choices for dog treats/​chews as my girl’s tummies cant handle garbage. They also carry Natural Balance and even offer $ 5 at the register, which is great as this is our food of choice.
I’ve never had issues with the employees here. Everyone is always polite and friendly. I love that they offer low cost vaccines two days a week. Keep it up Theresa’s!

This place trimmed my baby bunny’s nail for free in under 2 minutes without hurting her. Professional and quick. One very satisfied customer.
*Please note «bunnies» for sale were not there at the time I came in. If they were and were not rescued bunnies I would have deducted 4 stars just for that. Adopt don’t shop.

Ever since I came to simi I have been coming here I’m greeted by friendly faces and I’m give great advise when I’m in need. I love this place and I recommend this place every where.

Horrible place. I went into to have my dogs nails cut and was told to wait in the back. I was left for over 15 minutes to go to the front and ask for assistance again to be told since it’s a free service I had to wait. I didn’t know it was a free service nor did I ask for a hand out. I was willing to pay until I was disrespected and left like my time and money wasn’t good enough.
My time is just as important then your other customers and I would have paid to be treated better. So you will never have my business or any of my families ever again. Petsmart at the other end of town will get my business. Id rather pay to drive all the way to the other end of the valley then to be treated like a homeless bum begging for a handout. Shame on you Teresa’s feed.

Since the new owner the customer service has gone really downhill. I asked if they would price match Unleashed and they refused stating they can’t match it because it’s a sale price. What is the point then? Also the older brunette lady that is in charge there is rude and abrupt. I left the dog food and now shop at Unleashed. Unleashed price matches sale prices and gives rewards for 10% off of your TOTAL purchase. Say goodbye to a long time customer Theresas. Not that you care.

Super helpful! They raised the prices though so for big purchases I go to Henco in Sun Valley.

Theresa’s County Feed & Pet is a pretty large sized pet store. They carry pet supplies, bulk items and live animals including pets and feeders. Their pet animals all looked very healthy and well cared for during my visit this past week. The birds weren’t crowded and the feeder crickets and superworms looked great. Overall the store was clean and well organized.
I picked up a couple of water bottles for my guinea pigs — I appreciate the large selection of sizes and styles. I’ve been having trouble finding 8oz bottles and Theresa’s had me covered! The staff was friendly and helpful when I had questions. I don’t normally come to Simi Valley, but next time I do I hope I have reason to stop at Theresa’s!

I just love this place… They always have what I need. And Kurt who does a nail trimming is awesome. My cat is so out of control of his nails but he does a great job. I love coming in this place is everyone so attentive and so friendly… Everytime I go there I have a great experience

THERESA’S IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AS OF JULY 1, 2014.
The new owners are absolutely horrible. The entire store is completely changed and not for the better.
I’ve been going to Theresa’s for years. All of my dogs have been their since they were puppies. The thousands of dollars I’ve spent at that store on dog food, toys, treats, cat food, EVERYTHING is astronomical. All of the employees use to talk to us, ask about my dogs that they watched grow up, and it was a very friendly, homely environment.
Then I went in the store a week after they re-​modeled and sold the place. No one said anything. There were about 3 customers and all the employees were silent, then rude when you initiated communication with them. The owner’s kid tried selling some dog food to us, though he clearly has no idea what he’s talking about. I don’t need someone to read me a sales pitch when you don’t even own a dog. I asked about the new shot clinic prices, and the lady ignored me. These are the same employees that use to be so chatty and happy that it would be overbearing, but always in a good way.
I have been telling everyone I come into contact with about Theresa’s for so long that I’m sure that I got them a good number of their customers. I work in Agoura and I have told people about this store’s great environment, how comfortable it is and how the dogs love it —
Until I went there after the new management took over.
Never again will I recommend this horrible transformation of our neighborhood’s store. It’s depressing to see this store go from the neighborhood pet store to a store you want to avoid.

Peter’s Tropical Fish within Theresa’s Pet Store.
The wife and I have been coming here for the past 5 years getting different fish and accessories. Always has a nice selection and feel the prices are very fair.
This past week we ordered a new 90 gallon tank which they were able to custom order with our measurements and only took a couple of days to get in. Peter was great, he put on the blue background at no charge and gave us a fair price on the tank, filter and some extras. He and his brother were very helpful at explaining how to set up everything and even help us load it all into the jeep.
So great service and they were very accommodating. We will keep going!

We consistently use Theresa’s because of their incredible selection of dog food and accessories and because they have an excellent fish department. I also love the free popcorn for customers.
The prices are about average and the store is usually pretty busy. If you know exactly what you’re looking for, it’s a great place to shop, however their staff are kept pretty busy, so if you require help, you may have to be patient.
The store is a lot like the rural feed stores I remember as a kid. It has polished concrete floor and ranch supplies as well. They also set days aside for pet vaccinations.
Although the aisles are a little cramped and dark, overall this is a good store for most of your pet needs.

This is by far the worst pet store I have ever been to. There seems to be only a few nice employees that are willing to help. Prices are jacked and the reptile section is just saddening. I learned my lesson fast about ever buying here again when I purchased «Theresa Country Feed and Pet BEDDING» and saw my Red Tail Boa covered in hundreds of ticks and bloodied shortly a few days after filling my snake cage. This is the last straw after all the problems I’ve had from purchasing items from this store and the horrible customer service I will never buy from this store again. Not even worth one star. Your lucky you get even that since Unilocal requires one star or more.
