History

Established in 2010.

After nearly forty-​five years of experience in both small business and the Multi-​National corporate world, Rick Ladd took an early retirement package from Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, where he had led their internal collaboration efforts. He now is pursuing his passion for helping people grow their businesses with the power of Social Media.

Rick has spent almost two decades learning how the various tools available to small businesses can be used to increase their outreach and communication, both internally and externally. He has studied, and continues to learn about, virtually every Social Media channel available for both small and large businesses and can help you decide what makes the most sense for your company, no matter what size it is.

Business Owner

Rick Ladd is a native of Los Angeles and currently lives in Simi Valley, where he is working with the local Chamber of Commerce, local businesses, and organizations such as SCORE and For The Troops to provide his Social Media expertise in solving their communication and marketing needs.

Rick has both a Juris Doctorate from the University of La Verne and a Masters in Knowledge Management from CSUN, having earned the latter in 2009. He owned his first business at the age of 19, a hot dog and sandwich shop in downtown Los Angeles.

Rick has worked in numerous small businesses, including a family owned wholesale food distribution company, many restaurants, and recently retired from Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne after a career of 23 years.

He is passionate about the use of Social Media to improve the effectiveness of both internal communication and marketing and has extensive contacts and associations in the United States, Europe, and other parts of the world.
