This is probably the best pet store in Simi Valley. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. They carry NutriSource Dog Food which is a good brand food that is hard to find. Every time I go in there, it is a positive environment where I don’t mind spending my money. Thank you guys for your good customer service. That seems hard to find these days. I have been going to this store for almost a year now and I plan on continuing my shopping there for my dogs.

How could I have not written a review yet??? Hello? I have been going here since just shortly after they opened. I met Rob a few years ago at a trade show for the pet industry. I am so happy Dan and him finally opened their own spot! This place is the only place to shop. If you need something for your kitty, doggy, or small animal this is the place. If they don’t got it they will get it. They are tight with their distributors who will always support them. They have the right prices for the quality stuff. Don’t hesitate to ask them questions they know their stuff. I only get my dogs food from them. No where else. Rob even went above and beyond and got me a style of leash, harness, and collar that I wanted. Now if you want one specifically please know it may take them a minute to get it in. They have to order it direct, and they are at the mercy of the manufacture, but they will pull through. So go see them for all your fuzzy, fury, and hairy children’s needs. They’ve got your back! BY FAR, this is the most knowledgeable staff i’ve ever met… and with a super allergic dog, I’ve been in an insane amount of pet stores! They’re always well stocked with merch and rarely ever out of things. awesome job guys!

This is hands down my favorite pet store. I originally came in here because of a friend’s recommendation and I’m so happy I did.
Don’t let the size of the store fool you: R & R has a great selection of all the top of the line dog and cat foods and treats, cages and crates of all sizes, aquarium supplies, toys, and some of the coolest cat trees you will ever see (they have a guy that custom makes them with super high end carpet). They have everything you and your pet could ever need! If they don’t have it, they will get it for you at lightening speed. I recently special ordered a product and was amazed how quickly it arrived. They also have pet adoptions frequently, as well as low cost vaccination clinics every so often. There’s seriously nothing they don’t offer!
The owners, Rob and Danny, are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and they have both mastered exceptional customer service. I never thought a pet store could be warm and inviting until I came here… they always have a candle lit in the front of the store and I’m always greeted with a genuinely warm hello and a huge smile. These guys both love animals and helping people and it shows every time I step foot in this store. They are both extremely knowledgeable and constantly go above and beyond to make sure my needs are met. On top of that, many of the items I purchase here are more affordable than larger pet stores (try one the delicious smelling pet odor candles they sell – great to cover up pet odors and R & R offers the biggest selection and cheapest price in town). They honestly could change twice the price for everything and I’d probably still come here – their service is that great.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. I would strongly encourage any pet owner in Simi Valley to step foot in this store and experience this wonderful local business. If you do, I have a feeling it may become your new favorite pet store, too :)

Dan and Rob know what they are doing. I live in Santa Clarita and get my pet food from R&R Pet. After the Blue Buffalo incident, I asked Rob what food he would recommend for my dog, and he answered with NutriSource. Ever since the switch, I have noticed my dog has been enjoying his dry food MUCH more. Both of the guys here are fun, sociable dudes who are very knowledgeable, especially with pet food and nutrition. I don’t see myself leaving them — all pet stores should be like this! Such a wonderful store. It has a small, very friendly feel to it but is also less expensive than the big box stores. They only carry good quality food & treats & the staff really know what they are talking about. I think one other benefit is they are small enough, they remember my dog and give her lots of good attention when I bring her in. I so highly recommend them.

I’ve been buying my dog food here for a few months now. They have a great selection, clean store, and the two guys who run it are friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The last time I was in, there was an adorable dog helping at the register – loved that!

Great place to get your animals needs. The staff is very knowledgable and helpful too! I get a not so popular food in a brand they carry, but they special order it for me. I was going across the street to unleashed but would rather help a local business rather than a chain store. It’s been a better experience because they have the food I need every time.

This is a great little store. I have gone in twice and both times the owner was super helpful and very knowledgeable. I will continue to go to this store instead of the bigger pet supply stores. The prices are comparable too. It has everything you need, great service and fair prices.

This is my new go to pet store for cat food and supplies. The owners are among the friendliest people I have met. They really are there to help. Customer service is awesome here. They helped us pick a new cat food and they have been doing very well on it. They special order items for me and then keep them in stock for me as needed. They also work with local rescues which is awesome.

I like these guys there not out for a quick buck,… They seem to know what they’re doing, they have a good selection of products, this is an example of supporting your local pet food place right — I get my cat food there and the no grain more protein diet seems to be working pretty well for my cat — stool is less dry and more healthy looking :)

Best pet store around! The owners really care about their customers and will go the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of. Once you come here you won’t want to go anywhere else.

This is a cute little pet shop across from the movie theatre. I came here to get my dog vaccinated with Dr. Ron’s clinic and I loved the selection! They even have grass fed beef dog food! How great is that?

Had the opportunity to chat with the owner. Awesome guy, friendly, knowledgable, caring re: pets. Nice local alternative to big corporate petstore. Carries wide variety of stock.

This location is a small location. It seemed to me that the Quality of some of their food products for your pets where Refrigerated. That’s a good sign. So you know it’s real and your not buying junk.

This location had a lot of different toys and a lot of different amenities for your pets.
The two owners are very attentive your your needs and your pets. A personal Touch for your pet.
If you bring a picture of your pet they’ll post it on their wall. Good job.

Five stars simply isn’t enough. I’m a first time pet owner and the guys at R&R (Rob and I forgot the other man’s name) are AWESOME! The very night we got our dog we took her in with us to get everything that one could need for their pet and Rob got down on the floor with our dog and tried on different harnesses and leashes, and wouldn’t let us leave until we were comfortable with everything we purchased and he never blinked an eye at all the questions we asked. They are our «go-​to» pet supply and never hesitate to answer our questions. Shop local and go see these guys!

Great selection, prices, and friendly knowledgeable staff. I only purchase the highest quality food for my 2 cats, and the folks there are really up on what’s good or bad in the list of ingredients.
I’m disabled and walk with a cane. Since I’m on disability I only get a check once per month so I purchase the things that I know I’ll be needing — like a month’s supply of cat food, when my check comes. This is quite a lot of food and since I walk with a cane (or maybe just because they’re nice people), a staff member always carries it to the car for me. The thing is they offer to help in a very friendly non-​condescending way, which to me is important.
If you want the best for your pet and like to support high quality local small business, R&R is the place to go. I heard about them from a friend so I think that says a lot.
