Terrible experience. I took my two Yorkie puppies in for a 3 pm appointment on a Saturday. When I arrived the owner was flustered and said her staff member did not show up to work and that she was running behind. Since she did not provide me with a courtesy call to ask me to reschedule I offered to not go through with the appointment. She said she would still groom them, however it would take her a bit longer to finish. I never in a million years thought hat would translate into a 5 ½ hr appointment. Then when we picked up the pups she complained that they kept having to go out and tried to scold me. Once we arrived home and looked over the pups we noticed they had the most uneven and jagged cuts. Very disappointing. I actually tried them out based on Unilocal reviews. I’m not sure how we received the worst service, but we did. I will never recommend her.

Absolutely awful.
Called because of the great reviews here on Unilocal.Told her I have a Great Pyrenees (100lbs of fur). She didn’t seem to know the breed and I told her my pup was huge and has a very thick undercoat. She quoted me $ 40. Told me she had a ton of experience with «large» dogs such as German Shepherds and Huskies. I told her my dog was much bigger than those.
I dropped my dog off at 10am and I told her I needed to pick her up at 2pm, no later. She seemed to have never seen a GP before, and told me the quote she gave would actually be a little more money, I said not a problem. An hour later I get a call saying my dog is going to take longer because of the undercoat. I told her no thank you. Just finish brushing her and do not give her a bath if it will take too long. She then assured me she would be done in time.
She never called me by 2. So I called her and she said my dog had been sitting there waiting for me. I go pick her up with my husband, this woman proceeds to tell us how matted our dog was. My husband and I have brushed her 3 to 4 times a week since she was 8 weeks old. I told her she must not be familiar with a Great Pyrenees’ undercoat. She went on and on for 10 minutes about how difficult my dog was to brush, as I had already told her I was late to an appointment.
She then charged me over $ 80, I told her no problem I knew she didn’t understand how big my dog was when she quoted me. She asked if I could bring my dog back the next week to finish brushing her. I told her no problem and brought her back when she wanted her to come.
When I dropped her off I saw a ton of dogs waiting for their bath. Mind you she works just herself and one helper. I asked her how long, she told me she wasn’t sure but not too long. 4 hours later I call and check and she says my dog isn’t ready. I told her she needed to start because it was just a brush, it shouldn’t take longer than the previous brush and bath the week before. 20 minutes later I get a call my dog is done.
I pick her up and was told how my dog’s undercoat was all matted. Again. I asked her how my dog could get matted in a matter of 3 days since she last brushed her. She started yelling at me in front of other customers. She brought my dog out who was terrified. And told me I owed her $ 40 for the brush.
My jaw dropped and I handed her my card and said that is insane for just a brush (after she had just brushed her days earlier). She then continued to yell very rude things to me and threw my card back at me and said to never come back. I told her I wasn’t planning on it.
I then saw her employee the next day around town and he apologized for her behavior saying she has done that to a lot of people since he had been working there. He has since quit because of her treatment towards him.
She might be good with small dogs, but has no experience with large breed dogs with thick undercoats. Her attitude was something I could never make up. Very sad about the whole situation.
***I want to add, the owner responded to my review and blatantly lies about a «slip of the tongue». I know what kind of dog I have. I am extremely proud of the breed I so much researched and finally decided on. Over the phone I told her about my dog’s very, very thick undercoat so there would be no misunderstanding. I told her over and over again and she assured me it would be okay. I never once apologized for «slipping up» my dog’s breed. She never even said she heard Great Dane over the phone. This is the first I am hearing of this. This goes to show the honesty of this woman and her business. Please think twice before you support her or her business… very disappointing Nazy.***

This place was a little pricey but over all she is good with the dogs. And she does a fantastic job grooming them as well!

We took Marley, our newly adopted rescue terrier mix to Mrs. Nazy because our regular groomer was not available & we had read positive reviews about Perfect Pups. We could not have had a greater first experience with Mrs. Nazy! She treated our rescue pup with more love & compassion than I have ever seen from a groomer. Since this was our dog’s first grooming in some time she was fairly matted & in desperate need of a cut. Mrs. Nazy took the time to explain her thoughts on how she should be groomed & did not want to cage our dog because of her rescue background. She also mentioned that she would take extra time & our dog would not be ready right away. We had absolutely no problem waiting for a great first cut from Mrs. Nazy’s exceptionally caring boutique. As a result I can not recommend her enough & she now has a new permanent customer. It is truly refreshing to experience such quality customer care in this day & age, THANK YOU!

I have nothing but praise for Nazy and the work she has done for Charley (my rescue terrier of some sort). I’m a bit puzzled by the negative reviews, as you can see right into the grooming area which is always clean and neat when I’m there. While there are usually one or two other dogs being worked on, I’ve always gotten the sense that she is patient and kind in her work. I used to go to another place where it was commonplace to have nine or ten dogs lined up. With Perfect Pups, my dog gets personalized attention and his coat looks 100% better than when he came home from the previous groomer. Nazy does take her time, but the wait is well worth it. My dog will go nowhere else but to Perfect Pups.

We are relatively new to Simi Valley. I tried 2 places before I found Nazy. This place is it! Great service, lower prices than anywhere around. The owner truly cares and works her tail off.

First time customer. They bathed both my dogs for a really good price. Really satisfied with their service. Will go back for sure.
And it was a last minute appointment.

Bottom line my Australian Labradoodle left happy and well groomed. I will be back to brink my other 2 doodles. The groomer was so detailed down to my doodles nails/​claws.

We love this shop. Nazy has made my furbabies all shiny & soft & I wouldn’t take them anywhere else. She treats the dogs gently, talks to them & this I know because Shadow does not like her ears touched & she gets them pretty clean. She tells me my Thunder is the perfect gentleman & she makes his super soft & fluffy. A week before we go to the shop, I start telling the dogs they’re going to see Nazy & Thunder runs over to his treats & sits down! He is such a little man! Thank you for the great work & for your love of dog fur all over you!

I just picked my dog up from Perfect Pups and all I can say is WOW! Swayze is about 8 years old and hasn’t been this soft and fluffy since he was a puppy. He was there a bit longer than I expected, even though Nazy warned me he would take a while, but the results are absolutely worth it. She took the time to get all of the mats out of his under coat and he is like a new dog. I’ve had him groomed at a bunch of different places in different states, and even somewhere else here in Simi, but I will never take him anywhere else. Nazy really cares for the animals she takes in, and it absolutely shows. Thank you again, Nazy!

We love taking our dog to Nazy. Nazy has groomed her for nearly 5 years and we have always been satisfied with the service. Nazy really loves animals and our dog is always looking for to it.

This place is fantastic! The owner is very nice and our dog came back looking like a million bucks. I was so thankful that she fit us in without an appointment, even though she was booked up. My dog was in a good mood and not overly excited to see me so I know that she was treated well. We will definitely be back!

Went here because of all the Unilocal recommendations. We have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and she had never heard of the breed. She assured us she could handle large dogs. I am only giving 3 stars because he was very clean but he was there the entire day, they said he didn’t like the dryer. What dog does? You just take control of the situation. We own the most passive dog ever and she could not lead him around anywhere. She is probably great with small breeds but I would not recommend taking a large dog there from our experience.

Nazy is always leaving our dog, Kitty, looking like a pampered princess. Nails and hair are always trimmed perfectly and Nazy always leaves her looking like a little bear– exactly the way we like her. Not to mention how much how much our dog loves her!
Would definitely recommend for your four legged family member!

My wife took our dog to Perfect Pups located in Similar Valley. One of her friends had recommended it. I wondered why she would drive all the way from Encino to Similar Valley, passing a hundred other options. When I got home and I saw Rocky, I knew why. He looked beautiful, better than ever.

We have brought Jackson, our Husky/​Golden mix, to Nazi for years. He is never excited about going for grooming, but the minute he sees her, he immediately relaxes and even walks right into the shop. The new location and amenities are fantastic. Jackson was able to talk around a bit to settle in, and then there is the incredible doggy lounge she created where Jackson was waiting for us to pick him up. What a fantastic idea!
And then there is the actual grooming. Nazi always take extra special care with Jackson, and her methods and products help tremendously with his undercoating and shedding. Its several weeks before he starts to shed like crazy once again. Dont know what her secret is, but it works! Best dog grooming in Simi Valley!

Nazy is an amazing groomer. We love taking our senior pug Maggie here, knowing how much she trusts and likes Nazy. When we pick her up, she’s clean, happy and smells beautiful again.
We have been to a LOT of groomers in the area. Most are rushed and don’t ask any questions and seem bothered if you ask them any questions either. Not here, she wants to be sure to do the best thing for your pets and genuinely loves them.

I have been taking my corgi to Nazy since she was at Pet Depot. She is an excellent groomer and takes such great care of the dogs. She has a beautiful new shop and doesn’t leave the dogs in crates if they are well behaved. Corey, my corgi, loves going to see her and he is so handsome when he leaves. Her rates are very affordable and I love the peace of mind knowing my dog is in great hands while he is there!
