Capture the Shot is owned and operated by little old me, Matthew King. I’ve been a photographer since I was able to hold a camera. For many years it was just a hobby but in the last 8 years I’ve been making the move toward being a full time professional photographer. Self taught for the most part, I got my start mainly as a concert and event photographer but have steadily been adding to my tool box. Thanks to friends and local bands I have had the pleasure of branching out into product, portrait and landscape photography. My photos have been used for the Suburban Legends album Day Job, seen in Calabasas Style Magazine and been used by A. Marie Jewelry. I am also a proud member of The Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

Supporting me all along and in every way imaginable, is Krista King, my amazing and super creative wife. We met in high school and married (just a few years later, ha ha) in 2003. She has been my source of inspiration and taught me to never give up on my dream.
