Great company, superb moving service!

Attention to Detail receives 5 Stars from HELIUM LEAK TESTING, INC. They fulfilled all their promises and to our surprise, the final bill was less than the estimate. On moving day, they were well prepared since they had visited our location twice before moving day to ensure efficiency. We are a 55 year old company and they moved us in one day! They entire crew wasted no time; their team work and communication was very efficient. They are friendly and very hard workers. They were flexible as needed and no questions were unanswered. These guys went above and beyond for us. Very professional, they wrapped and unwrapped everything too. They even helped us put furniture together. What a long day but it was definitely a smooth process. I will recommend these guys to everyone I know — other companies wouldn’t even give me the time of day.

I have mixed reviews with Attention to detail.
Good review-​They were on time, very nice, got everything moved, worked very hard and the price was reasonable.
Bad review– 1) I was guaranteed that my expensive Wyland art would be wrapped, protected and taken special care of. It was broken and chipped.
2)My house had been just painted inside and they took off paint from 9 corners of the house, with one on a rounded corner dented.
As in a previous review, I was also charged about double when they were done. I actually had a manger come to my house to evaluate all my furniture and stuff. In the end it took twice as long and the guys were working well into the night. So make sure you hold them to their estimate if they come see it all for themselves.
I was told that someone would contact me to fix my walls and painting but since no one called I put their rating as a 2. The minute I put up this review I was called and taken care of. It was explained that it was a miscommunication and they came out the next day to fix it. I will now give them a rating as a 4. I would give a 5 to the managers for the great job but because the employee didn’t take care of my art I give a 4.
I would recommend this company to anyone looking for movers. As with any mover if you have highly expensive stuff move it yourself.

The only reason Attention 2 Detail Moving is not receiving a 5 star rating from me is because the quote we received was not accurate and the job cost one third more than we were initially quoted. Some of this was because we moved on a rainy day so extra precautions had to be taken to protect the new carpets, but I do believe the estimate was inaccurate. That said, the crew, lead by Victor, was efficient, polite and organized! I also appreciated the effort they took to protect our belongings from damage during the move. So yes, I would recommend Attention 2 Detail to friends and family in Ventura County.

I am disappointed in the services provided by this moving company. When researching for my move, like others, I chose these movers due to their reviews here on Unilocal and because they are a Veteran company, and my late husband was a proud Airman. On two occasions, I called and spoke to one of the managers, Colt, by phone. Naturally, cost was a concern, and I wanted to be sure I was able to obtain as accurate an estimate as possible, so I knew what to expect to pay and could make an informed decision about how to proceed. I asked about an in-​person estimate but Colt informed me that he had been in this business for many years and could give me a «very confident» estimate over the phone. I went verbally went through all items in my home in detail, emphasizing heavy items and anything that might need to be taken apart. I was quoted an expected time of 3 – 4 hours total. I should acknowledge that I was given a small military discount as well as a slightly lower hourly rate for booking my move for a Thursday, rather than Friday-​Sunday.
I was called several times to confirm by phone but was never e-​mailed or sent anything in writing. On the day of the move, the two men helping me were indeed on time and courteous. However, despite their work ethic, my total move took nearly twice the amount of time I was quoted by Colt over the phone, costing me more than 2x more money than I was planning to spend. I was also NOT informed about the additional «double drive time fee» over the phone when given the estimate, so this was an additional charge tacked on at the end that I had not anticipated (although I understand this is a universal state-​wise fee that does not profit the company, it was still an additional expense I had not planned for).
Also, I was sad to see my expensive leather couch cushion is now permanently stained/​discolored as if it had been pressed by against something wet in the truck.
Due to my concerns about the gross underestimate for the cost of my move, as well as the damage to my couch, I contacted the company right away to try to come to a fair resolution. My call was returned by another manager who did not know the specifics of my case, and then a few days later by Colt, who said he did «care» and wanted to address my concerns. I reminded him of our discussion by phone when I scheduled my move and his confidence as to the estimated time of my move. Although he did not contradict this, he did not offer any sort of remedy, financial or otherwise, despite the fact that the movers exceeded the «not to exceed» time for my estimate. Why offer an estimate for time at all then? He also asked me to send multiple photos of my couch, which I did, although he did indicate this could simply be «normal wear» and this would likely not be covered by the insurance or reimbursed in any way.
It has been almost one month since my original complaints and I have not received any more follow up, neither to address the overcharging nor the damage to my couch. I understand things happen, but I believe honesty and customer service are important, which is why I do my research and carefully consider which companies I give my business. I do not like to leave negative reviews but I think it is warranted, as I gave them a chance to do the right thing and ultimately nothing was done. Had I been provided the correct information about how much to expect this move to cost, I would chosen differently. I would not use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone I know.

These guys are great! Super professional and efficient. Mike and Matt put me at ease as I’ve had some difficult moves in the past. They were also great with having to think on their toes when little quirks came up. Great job guys!!!

I never use moving companies. I never have because I’m the type that usually hulks it out on my own, even at the expense of my sometimes seemingly rapidly aging body. I’ve been sick lately and I needed help. Not just help. Help that I could trust. Help that is reliable, reasonable, and professional. Attention to detail is all of these things and more. I have worked many years in customer service, and spent five years in the military. Because of my background, I know professionalism and I know customer service. I am very particular about the services I pay for and I don’t hesitate to express my gratitude when I’m happy with the level of customer service provided. Attention to detail offers a professional service, with kind, professional, thorough employees. The level of customer service is superb. From the initial contact with the office staff, to the notifications of their impending arrival, to their departure, they’re wonderful. I contacted them yesterday evening and they were able to help me out today, with very short notice. Their movers went above and beyond without hesitation. I was happy to pay for their service and will look forward to the next time I need help moving anything at all.

Never once did I have any doubt thay we wouls receive amazing service from this company. In a time of stress, these two upstanding citizens, Tristan & Charlie, made us feel like family. They were prompt, provided updates and were very professional… they treated our personal belongings as of it were their own… handled with care.
We definitely recommend this company for any move we will have in the future.

The guys are still here and I have to send a review — they are doing such a great job! They arrived early, worked really efficiently to get everything taken apart and packed properly, and had great attitudes the whole time. We had a tricky staircase in our old home and they were able to maneuver around it without damaging anything. And even when one of their guys started feeling ill, they were able to quickly get a replacement guy to take over. Xrysto and his guys were great and we would definitely hire them again (although we hope to not move again for a long time)!

Wow wow wow!!! I was referred to Attention 2 detail from a friend after already booking a van line to move us from Simi Valley to Boise Idaho, so i call them up just to see what it would be price wise. Chris comes over and does a survey of my house and tells us a few different options, we decided because of the professional way it was handled and the confidence i had in him we decided to go with this company. It came in a little cheaper but i was assured all of our stuff would be handled with the up most respect and care. So we switched to Attention 2 Detail and im sure glad we did! Not only did they wrap all of our stuff with blankets and plastic wrap but did it very fast! These movers work their tales off!!! No breaks no nothing! Didnt even eat their lunch until 3 pm when the truck was packed, we ended up needed another smaller uhaul and Chris worked very very hard to get us one at the last minute and even split the difference with us. I also hired an additional driver to drive my 2 cars up there as well. Very stressful move in general for us and these guys handled us with so much respect I couldn’t believe it. Everything got up there in perfect condition with no issues. Anthony kept in touch with us the whole time they were on the road. At the end of it all I couldn’t be happier I really couldn’t. Im so thankful for all they have done and how professional and respectful they all are! A+++ i would refer them to anyone!!! Thank you a million times over again!

What a great experience I had with this company, first off Chris R. Came out and gave me an estimate, on time, and very detailed, gave me an idea what it would run for my move, just so I could make sure it was within my budget, I’ve always moved myself in the past, mostly because it saved money, but since I received an affordable quote I decided to go for it.
Job was scheduled for 8am, and sure enough they were right on time. Christo was the lead guy, and I believe Anthony was next in charge, there were two other guys, I just didn’t catch their names. The term attention to detail, is 100% accurate with how they run their operation. Non stop work, efficient, clean & very concerned about handling & protecting my items. Was worth every penny, & more.
I can ramble on, but the bottom line is, if you want good communication, hard working, efficient movers, look no further, Attention to Detail is the company for you.

Had my friend bail on me last min and was stuck by myself to move. Called These guys and they had a crew at my door in just over an hour ready to work! They packed, loaded and unloaded at my new place in just over 3hrs! I had to give these guys a shout out for the awesome job they did. Thank you guys, your a life saver! A++ Definitely would recommend to anyone in need of moving services.
All the guys were professional, on time, and overall extremely efficient! They offered very competitive pricing and much better service than most other experiences we’ve had with other companies in the past. Not one thing was chipped, cracked or broken in any way even with our maze like home/​courtyard.

I checked with 4 other companies prior to my move to get quotes. Attention to detail was the first to respond, and had the best rate. No hidden charges, just a flat rate per hour which made my decision much easier.
When the date of my move was in question and had to shift, they were able to accommodate and made sure I’d be covered in either case.
They were right on time, and they were fast! We were out of our house exactly on schedule. As for teamwork, they worked efficiently, and had fun together. They were mindful of my kids running around, and made sure that everyone was safe.
They made the work look easy, I’ve never seen someone carry a washer and dryer down 2 flights of stairs like it was nothing.
I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, Attention to Detail Moving is the first number I’m calling. They made it stress free, and easy.

I’ve moved 12 times in 15 years… don’t ask. #gypsylife This is the 1^st and only review I have ever written for the 6 moving companies I’ve hired before I found Attention to Detail. This team is PROFESSIONAL, PROFESSIONAL, PROFESSIONAL.
If you are reading this. you should know:
1. I typically, like many Unilocalers, take time to write ‘angry’ reviews, BUT, I am taking the time to write a POSITIVE, OUTSTANDING review for this company because I am so über impressed. The team was so NICE, HELPFUL, POLITE and Professional and STRONG!
2. I’ve moved waayyy more than the average household and I’ve hired several moving companies and these guys are the BEST EVER! I had the most pleasant experience with this team of movers. Wow, they were so good. I moved a full 2bdrm, 2bth apartment into a townhouse. Nothing broken. Everything moved out and in.
3. Cost was totally reasonable! I would hire again and again and again.
4. Movers were very Professional and so NICE and STRONG. I’ve used a competitor in the past and they sent a mover with a bad-​hip (no names, cough starving old students, cough) and the team from Attention to detail were strong and FAST! wow! fast! My move was done in less time than the last 6 moves.
5. They wrapped my tv’s, shrink-​wrapped dressers, my precious & expensive artwork, etc. very professional
I think I could go on forever about:

and veterans to boot so how could you go wrong?!? That in itself speaks to the character and type of move you will have if you hire them.
*Last praise for this company and then i’m done. During my move, I received a call from my veterinarian about my 15year old family cat, Pepper, who needed to be put to sleep. I couldn’t stop crying when I heard the news and basically was rendered useless over this sad news about my poor kitty. The movers did not stop moving all of my things AND each one of them had such kind, thoughtful condolences and words to say to me for my cat that I love and will miss so dearly. I guess that’s why I cant stop raving about how professional they were. Even at a time of pure distress and loss for me, they didn’t miss a beat getting my apartment completely emptied and moved into my new townhouse.
Thank you so much Attention to Detail for paying attention to all the details! My precious personal belongings, furniture AND pets. You guys are the classiest movers in the state!
