First Collision is the trusted and recommended repair shop for Simi Valley Chevrolet & Simi Valley Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.

The shop handles different direct repair programs including Automobile Club, MAPFRE, Liberty Mutual and Travelers. We also handle repairs through all car insurance companies and welcome car owners in need of out-​of-​pocket repair work. Our staff is I-​CAR certified and continuing education is required.

At 1^st Collision we believe in using brand new OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts for our repairs. Typically, the parts are dictated by the car owner’s policy. If your insurance company states that we use an aftermarket part to keep the cost of the repair low, we have programs that we use to submit an estimate to various car manufacturers so that they match the price and we get brand new OEM parts for your car.

Our bodywork and paintwork is covered under a written warranty for as long as you own the car. The parts are covered under their own warranty from the places that produce them, like GM, Honda or BMW.

Customer satisfaction rating is a good thing, and we rank top 1% with Auto Club. But customer enthusiasm is even better! Customer enthusiasm is the result of not only meeting our customers’ expectations but exceeding them by spontaneously «wowing» our customers with the results. History

Established in 2006.

We are located inside the Simi Valley Chevrolet dealership on the corner of First St. and Cochran St. The shop is visible from the 118 freeway. Peter McGoldrick has been an owner in the repair business since 1991. Our shop handles several different direct repair programs such as the Automobile Club of Southern California, Travelers insurance, Liberty Mutual, and Commerce West. Our shop is now an Express Repair shop for Mercury Insurance as well as working with all insurance companies. The shop is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm. The shop has plenty of parking and storage for non-​repairable cars. The facility is well lit at night and secured with indoor/​outdoor laser alarms. We can arrange rental cars for our customers. Our staff is I-​CAR certified and continuing education is required. We warranty repairs for 5 years. We have extensive training using Eclaims, Audatex, CCCOne, and Chief Computerized Measuring software.

Manager

I have been in the collision repair industry since 1992. My training includes I-​CAR certification as well as all three major estimating programs. Past experience includes body work, paint work, detail, parts manager, and estimator. Knowledge of repairs on everything from BMW, Mercedes, and Audi to Lexus, Infiniti, GM, and Ford. My past experience and continuing education gives me the confidence that I will earn your long term business and trust.
