This is my second review of this place. I bought a car from them in September and bought another in December. My salesman Ron Giannoni is by far the best car salesman I have ever delt with. Dean in financing was wonderful, Jessi in service and Nixie in customer service all deserve a shout out as well. Very professional, friendly, and efficient place to do business with!

I received excellent service today from DCH Toyota of Simi Valley. It all starts with John in parts. Actually there are two named John in the parts department and both of them are great. Extremely courteous and helpful from start to finish. Additionally I was giving a 20% discount on my parts because I am a military member! How great is that? Then after getting my part, I went over to the service writer Amanda who helped get my part installed. Granted it was only a mud flap, and didn’t take very long, she had the part put on at no charge! I was amazed at her ability to multi-​task too as she answered telephone calls and helped others while also helping me concurrently without stopping. Most often, people cannot mult-​task and have to stop doing one thing so they can handle another thing — not Amanda she is an ace and was a great help. I sincerely hope this review finds her, she was amazing and seriously deserves more pay and even a promotion if possible. Not many can handle numerous tasks and maintain courteous service. Not to mention I waited a total of 35 minutes while my car was whisked away promptly and the part was put on. Allot of times at dealerships they make you wait around for a long time, but not here I was very pleased. Either way I enjoyed the nice lounge for my stay and used the free wifi service too! Thank you so much Amanda you are great I will see you soon to put on a couple other parts I need soon!

I feel I have to respond to the posting response made by their Manager here. Sir, With all due respect, I don’t need to be spoken to, hear your apologies or listen to an offer of, «what you can do to make it right routine.» I believe that I have clearly and eloquently stated what happened at your dealership and is humbly expecting your office to make improvements. I just would like your franchise to state that you have spoken with your staff and that, such behavior is unacceptable nor define what DCH stand for, in serving all of your customers. This is actually what customers want from your franchise NOT good old sweet-​talk that does nothing to change the behavior of the former.

All was good for the last couple of years until we had an issue with the AC blower not working and took it to DCH Toyota of Simi Valley on 10/​07/​2015. Before I went in I spoke to the service representative Danny on the phone who told me my car was still within warranty and that the piece would be covered on that warranty. I was also told I would owe $ 0 if that was all true and it was a warranty issue. So I brought it in to get it checked out. I told them the blower motor seemed to be the issue from my online research and explained that when you turn the A/​C on that the glove box would vibrate and make a very loud noise. After a short period of time that was anywhere from 15 – 60 seconds the AC would turn off altogether. Danny agreed that sounded like the blower but he would be having the technician make sure. I received a call later in the day from Danny telling me that I was right it was the blower motor however the item was not under warranty as they had found a rats nest in the blower motor. I explained how I was shocked by that since we park in the garage and have never seen mice/​rats in our house or garage. Danny explained it happened quite often and went on to say that it is an expensive piece to replace and the labor is high as it is hard to get to. He gave me the part number and I was quoted $ 550(parts and labor) in total to fix that part. I asked for a picture of the blower so I could see it and he happily agreed. He texted me the picture and said it was up to me if I wanted to fix it. I decided $ 550 was too much for us to pay at the moment and decided to just take the car back. I was charged $ 100 diagnostic fee that was in the agreement I signed but was never explained to me. I had wished it would have been explained with a quick sentence but was not upset that I was charged as I assumed I was given accurate honest feedback. So far everything appeared pretty straight forward to me. I went home and called around to get the part to see if I could make the repair myself. I found the part and bought it. I went to install the part and was shocked at how easy it was. Underneath the glove compartment, inside the car, I took out three flat head screws and disconnected a wire. The old blower dropped out with ease. I put the new blower in, put the three screws back in and plugged the wire back in. This whole process including taking the part out of the box took me less than five minutes. I turned the A/​C on and everything worked perfectly. I was happy I had saved money! Until! I looked at the old part and noticed it had no signs of a rats nest or any sort of damage. Then I reviewed the image I was sent in the text and realized the image I was sent was an image of a similar part with a rats nest but was not an image of the part from my car! Imagine my surprise and instant frustration! I went the next night, 10/​09/​2015 to have a conversation in person with the General Manager Fernando V. and told him the story. He seemed honestly shocked that I would be sent a picture of a different part. I asked Fernando to review the transaction and that I was looking for a refund on the diagnostic fee as well as payment for the part. He said he would have his service director look into for me and get back to me. I waited a week and no phone call! After speaking to the GM I would expect at least a phone call saying you are looking into it and an expectation for further communication to be set. I called Fernando and left a voice mail (10/​14/​2015) informing him I had not heard anything. Another week has gone by with no word from anyone at DCH Toyota of Simi Valley. I called again on 10/​22/​2015 and Spoke to Robert the Service Director and explained my situation. He did not seem very shocked or concerned and tried to defend his team by saying taking a picture of the part was unreasonable because the part is very hard to get to. I corrected him and told him it took me less than five minutes to fix my issue once I had the part. He then tried to tell me they must have been talking about a different part but again I explained that his service person gave me the part number. I explained I have the picture, the part number and an explanation of how it is hard to get to and therefore an expensive repair all saved in text message from his service person. He then took my name down and said he would get back to me. I feel like they are running a fraudulent business.
Finally, after I opened a complaint to the better business bureau they responded within a few days. I was refunded the $ 100 diagnostic charge but never contacted again about the part’s warranty. NEVER take your car in for service there. This is a recurring issue with their service department, just read the reviews within the last year, really wish I had. Take your vehicle elsewhere.
And no thank you Fernando, I already tried talking to you first, that was not a useful exercise.

Thoroughly enjoyed my Wednesday morning waiting for my car to be serviced! I had a free manicure, by Kim, who was very nice, while sipping my latte. Then I relaxed on the couch & read on my iPad.

Cant express how thankful I am to have been assisted by TYRONE BEAUFORD at DCH Toyota. He literally saved me $ 900!!! His expertise and thorough analysis of what happened to my truck was truly a life saver. CAR OWNERS go see Tyrone when your car isnt working right. TOYOTA take care of the associates that represent your brand and are masterful at what they do.

If I could give this dealership a big fat ZERO I would. If I had to do it over again, I would never have bought a Toyota from this dealership.
I bought my 2015 Prius C4 from this dealership back in March of 2015. The buying experience was pleasant. Dahlia Gonzalez was friendly and easy to work with. That’s where the pleasantness ended.
I bought this car at this specific dealership because I’m a Simi Valley resident, and I wanted to support the local community. Big mistake!
After purchasing the car, the navigation system kept freezing.
The first time I took the car in about the navigation issue, Pat (the service guy, who is extremely nice) told me that these specific Prius were experiencing a lot of issues with the navigation and that Toyota was waiting for an update on the system which would solve the issue. No one from the service department EVER called me to follow up on this, and I had to keep calling the dealership to ask for an update. About two months later, they finally had the update available. I brought my car in for the update, but that did NOT solve the issue.
At approximately 8,300 miles, I took my car in AGAIN for them to look at the navigation. For some reason, the service advisor had written on the paperwork to perform the 10,000 mile service, which I had not requested. I told two separate service advisors NOT perform the 10,000 mile service, as I was only at 8,300 miles and didn’t want it done.
When I made an appointment for the 10,000 mile service about 6 weeks later, I brought the car in and the service advisor asked why I was there. I informed the service advisor that I was there for the 10,000 mile service. He informed me that the service had already been done the last time I was there. I was not happy, since I had specifically asked that they not perform the 10,000 mile service when I was only at 8,300 miles!
I brought my car in again for them to fix the navigation a few weeks later, and they could not figure out why it wouldn’t work, so they decided to replace the whole system. The day after the replacement, I was driving on the 5 freeway and the navigation was telling me to exit Mulholland Drive (which does not exist off the 5 freeway)!
Robert Padilla, the service manager, was not very good at his job (and is no longer with the company). I would call him and he would say he would call me right back. 24 – 48 hours would go by without a return phone call from him. He always had an excuse as to why he hadn’t called me back when I was finally able to get a hold of him.
During one of my many visits to this dealership, the GM, Fernando Revelez was there. I went to speak to him about the navigation issue, and he wouldn’t even give me the courtesy of looking me in the eye. I told him about all the issues I was having with the navigation, and he could care less. He was sitting down at a desk with his hands behind his head and looked everywhere but at me. He was extremely rude and disrespectful to me.
The last time I took my car in for the navigation to be repaired, I received the car back with chips all over the windshield. Robert said he would send someone out to check out the windshield and make any repairs. It took a week to track the guy down, and we spoke a few times to try and set something up, but I’m still waiting for him to call me back and it’s been almost a month!
After taking my car in numerous times, the navigation still has occasional issues and I don’t trust it. It seems like it always fails to work when I have no idea where I’m going!
It would be nice if this dealership hired a service manager who knew what they were doing, and knew how to treat customers with decency. I am aware that the navigation issue isn’t this fault of this dealership, but the way they have handled this is just downright rude.

As always, Simi Valley Toyota comes through big time. I recently brought in my 2015 Prius for the 10,000 mile service and I received 5 Star service from start to finish. I’ve been coming here since January 2012 and their customer service never disappoints.
Amanda Robinson, Asst Service Manager, greeted me warmly as I pulled up at 7:45am — the mechanics start at 8, and she got me out by 8:40am.
Anthony LaMar is also a gem. He’s super friendly & efficient just like Amanda — he completed my final checkout paperwork and walked me over to my car.
This dealership obviously knows the value (which can never be stressed enough in any business) of TRUE, honest, down-​to-​earth customer service.
And yes, I can also vouch for the Sales team as I’ve leased my last 2 cars here :)

We bought a 2010 Tacoma from DCH Toyota simi valley, bout a week ago. Jaz was our salesman and he did what ever he had to do to get us in a new used certified truck. We were able to drive it home that night. Before we left we noticed that the head lights had moisture in them. DCH Toyota wrote up a due bill and today I went in to get them fixed. Sam was my service adviser. He told me that it would take a couple hours to get the job done, but an hour later I see my truck come out. Not only did they replace the headlights, but they upgraded them. Sam really got things done. Thank you so much Sam, Jay Z, Mark, Recardo, and all of DHC Toyota Simi Valley staff for making my car buying, and service experience an excellent one. With the excellent experience I had with DCH Toyota Simi Valley you have made me a life customer.

My wife and I just bought a car from DCH Toyota and had a great experience from start to finish. We were assisted by Kareem Hassan and Che Young.
Che was very amicable and charismatic as he walked us through viable purchasing options within our specifications (i.e. car type, mpg, miles, price).
Kareem was very transparent and informative throughout our purchase. This was our first car purchase together and he made us feel very comfortable throughout the process.
I would highly recommend Che and Kareem to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.

Went in with my dad (who works for this DCH Toyota) to test drive and buy a new 2016 Scion FRS. Was first greeted by Mr. Gus Herrera, a friendly Internet Sales Manager who was able to give a great deal (after previous discussion and negotiation) on purchasing the car at a price that was better than ANYWHERE else we could find. Gus is a very nice guy and I would recommend speaking with him if ever interested in purchasing a new Toyota here.
We were later greeted by Mr. Kareem Hassan, Sales Consultant, to test drive, and review the specs and performance of the FRS. His customer service is phenomenal! Very knowledge salesman and quick to answer any question or concern we had.
I would also highly recommend contacting Kareem if you needed help deciding on purchasing a vehicle here, or even just had any questions about your new car.
In summary, the whole purchasing process was quick, easy, customer friendly, and overall hassle free. I would go on weekends in the morning since there’s less people around and hence less wait time.

I try to shop local, but this dealership is a sham. I suggest you go elsewhere. They have no appreciation for customers and no knowledge of good customer service.
I intended to buy a car from them at a price match with one of their sister stores and they wasted an entire day waiting for confirmation of the deal (The GM told me the night before that they would match the price of their sister store, if I had it in writing which I DID) A day later, they (everyone except the GM who was on travel) turn around and say that they aren’t going to match their price with the statement «we have the car you want and that dealership doesn’t» Nice, huh?
Thanks for wasting my time. If the General Manager Fernando is smart he will fire everyone and start new with a group of people that are ethical and considerate. Until then STAY AWAY!

Updating: This dealer is a joke. Shady management dodges calls and never gets back to you on top of the horrible service that you receive.
Please take your buisness elsewhere. Throughly ashamed that this dealer bears the Simi Valley name.

So nice to feel welcomed at a service center. After having such a bad experience with the Toyota at TO I was told by a client how great DCH Toyota was so I had to try them.
I am so glad I did. From setting my same day appointment to arriving to DCH the staff was amazing. My Service rep was Tyrone and he made the wait see short by greet clients, interacting with them at all times he walked by. Even the young man asking if anyone needed the shuttle was super kind. They made sure everyone was ok.
The service was 2hrs long for a oil change but I did do a same day appointment. So next time I will call ahead. Plus it went by so fast with everyone keep us interacting even as they pass by.
No doubt that this is where I will bring my car in more often thanks to the great experience.

Dropped my car off for an oil change today at 10am. We did an inspection before I left my car with them. Went to pick my car up two hours later, felt rushed, guy handed me the keys and no inspection was done. I didn’t think anything of it and went right home to my babies. Later on this evening my husband noticed the huge dent on my hood. I’m very disappointed by this and I’m not seeing red flags during my pick up! I’m going in tomorrow morning to speak with a manager.

…and two hours after my review below, I received a private message from Rosalinda L. stating, «bitch, get a life!» This is coming from a person I do not know. After reviewing her profile, I’m assuming she is an employee or somehow associated with an employee at Toyota because her last 3 reviews were all 5 stars at Toyota. I’m too amused! I just have to submit an update.
My friend and I both own a 2011 prius. We bought it maybe 2 – 3 months apart from each other. We received a notice in the mail about a recall– something about the computer system that affects the brakes. Scary, right? We were exchanging stories and we both experienced the same scenario– where sometimes, we hit the brakes and it’ll jolt forward/​accelerate before slowing down. This is obviously very dangerous and something that should be taken care of right away.
I came in a couple months ago for this recall with a 10am appointment. I was fortunate enough to have someone who was able to pick me up. I came back at 1:30pm and the front desk could not get a hold of anyone in the back because it was «lunch time». Oh, and the front office reeked like popcorn and of course, no one was being professional and was dilly dallying around in the lobby area. Finally, they sent the poor guy who greets customers in the front and takes down the milage info, to run back and get my car. I finally got out of there by 2:30pm. It’s insane how a computer upgrade takes 4.5 hours and how unprofessional the staff can be.
Today, my friend dropped off his prius at his 10:30am appointment for this recall. He asked if it was possible to get the car back by 2pm. They said, yes. I picked him up and we killed time by running errands, having lunch, etc. I dropped him off at around 2pm and his car was not ready. Let’s just say, he was pissed. He waited another hour and finally a tech pulled up w his car. He literally grabbed the keys and left without talking to anyone. No one tried to stop him or give him a copy of the work that was completed or apologize/​explain why it took so long. I find this hilarious! Way to pay attention to your customers! Bravo!
It’s not even as if we damaged our own car and it was a repair that would require a lot of time. It was a RECALL. Not the customers fault. Something that I feel Toyota should be attentive about, especially if the customer has to come back for a reason that is not their own fault.
Who knows what they do back there with our cars or if the work even gets done. If only there were cameras for us in the waiting room. It’s pointless making an appointment because they take just as long as they would if you were a walk-​in.

I’m convinced all dealerships are awful and actually give their customers little to no service and respect. As much as I think the people of this dealership are great, the over all business is terrible.
Main Issues
1. Treat customers time with respect. If you schedule an appointment for a customer at 10:50 AM and can’t hold that time, let the customer know. Having getting to the dealership to find out my car won’t even be looked at until 3PM is incredibly disrespectful. At this point, what is the point of an appointment
2. The Entune System these cars come with is the worst cluster of badly written software I have ever seen and Toyota seems to act like no problem exist. Their absolute best line to their customers is «It’s working as designed». I’d love the 2013 Prius v Three but what’s the point when the Toyota does not care enough to fix software issues?
All in all, Toyota needs to take a step back and research the three ovals in their logo. Two of those ovals representing trust between Toyota and the customer in which I have no trust in this company.
Three star rating for the friendliness of the staff otherwise it would definitely be a one.
