The food was very good, the wild berry smoothie is really refreshing. They seemed a little understaffed but it was a wonderful breakfast experience and the staff was really friendly and personable. I will definitely come back when visiting my parents.

Ordered a macchiato with a pastry. The coffee was good. The place is Very spacious with two levels. Overall good experience. I thought the pastries were a bit pricy /:

The coffee was positively mediocre. They use BJ’s out of Vancouver, Wash., which is not a top-notch Portland-area roaster. Why places in this area choose mediocre roasters is beyond me. On the bright side, the pastries and quiches looked quite good!

This is an interesting place in the center of town. Besides coffee they’ll soon have a full service kitchen. The charms are the positive attitude of the owner and a unique two story setup. If you want an event space for up to 100 the second floor is well designed with a lot of natural light.

Great place! As out-of-town visitors, we were warmly welcomed by Gabby and enjoyed a perfect breakfast and truly enjoyed the coffee. We loved the mix of table styles, cleanliness and warm ambiance of the place, fabulous service, and delightful staff. We especially appreciated Gabby… just pure sunshine! The regulars(Jim) made the morning special and we truly enjoyed our conversation and warm inviting welcome by Jim… Whenever we return to Silverton, we will make a bee-line to the Main Street Bistro! We actually hated to leave and continue our journey it was so delightful!

Sad to report that breakfast was disappointing. The biscuits and gravy was actually cold when it was brought to our table, so certainly not freshly made. The girls behind the counter are really nice. I’ll just stick to the coffee and skip their breakfast.

My go-to spot for coffee! Good ambiance — couches, tables, seating by the windows, and a small upstairs area. Free wi-fi, selection of books for children to read, chess set, etc. Excellent customer service — greeted promptly and warmly by staff, the barista has always been friendly and makes small talk, clearly a go-to spot for locals as staff seemed to know several by name. Coffee and baked goods — pretty standard menu for a coffee shop, decent prices and my drinks have always been well prepared.

The quality of the coffee is high and the ambiance inside is nice. It’s a great place to sit with your laptop and sip coffee white waiting for meetings to start.

I have only had coffee and dessert at Main St., but I have to say that I am pleased thus far. Definitely my default location for getting a coffee in downtown Silverton. My standard drink of choice is a vanilla latte, and theirs is very good — their espresso has a smooth flavor to it, and then they don’t make it crazy sweet like some places which makes for a well balanced drink. The dessert experience I had was back in January, before they had their full menu up and running, so I’m not sure if they still offer it. It was a mini molten lava chocolate cake served with ice cream, and my 8-y.o. daughter and I thought it hit the spot on a chilly winter day.

So far this little nook out in Silverton, Oregon has pleasantly surprised me. It has changed hands in who owns it but has kept the coffee and food quality up. The pastries and food are good and the coffee is pretty good too. It’s a little crowded when you come in but it’s very small townish.
