Such a cute, quaint, cozy spot to stop at if you are in the area. I snagged a hot Chai Tea after hiking out at the falls and was able to taste one of their sweet treats they had on display. I want to come back when the weather is nice as they have this awesome deck that overlooks the water and you can just tell its a good spot to sit and sip on your coffee and read or just enjoy the view. The inside is what you would expect from a small town coffee spot. It had that«old soda fountain» look of sorts as the there was counter seats available. There is also an upstairs view/seating deck for the over flow, but I doubt it ever gets that that busy, and if so, I am sure its the locals. The Chai hit the spot and gave me what I needed after a cold hike, and I snagged a sip of their maple syrup mocha drink they had on special and it was so tasty. Te lemon and pecan bars leave you craving more, or just one you dont have to share. :) The staff was friendly and carried on a conversation while we were there. I also saw sandwiches no the menu and they also serve Nathan Hotdogs. When I swing through Silverton next, I WILL be stopping here again and maybe it will be when it’s warm so I can check out the outer deck.

Stopped in to meet with a client. Walk in and it smells amazing. The décor is fun. Comfy chairs to hang out in. And of course the coffee. It did not disappoint! They listened when I requested not too sweet. Their beans are fresh. Overall great coffee and I will be back!

Stopped in here for the first time today. I’m a coffee snob and I hate being served bad coffee. I’ve also been to a lot of bad small own coffee shops. This is not one of them. The coffee here is excellent quality. Service is friendly and food is good, but when I go to a coffee shop I care about one thing, good quality coffee that is prepared right. This place does not disappoint

Great place to hang out, get some jo and a quick bite. Under new ownership and you will likely be served by him. The back deck is the place to be on a sunny day!

My husband and I stopped in this little café on our way to the Oregon Gardens. He ordered a pulled pork sandwich that was a great value at $ 7. Make sure you take your food on the porch overlooking the river for a great atmosphere. The reason I’m giving it 5 stars is because we both ordered mochas that were fantastic. The owner went out of his way to tailor mine to my tastes/food allergies and all of the staff were so friendly and efficient. It was so good we spent the drive home to Eugene talking about how we wished they were closer so we could get coffee there more often. It’s not super fancy or gourmet but if you want a great cup of coffee at a reasonable price with friendly service, be sure to stop in here.

I walked in and an older man and women were behind the counter. I wasn’t acknowledged, but went to the counter anyways. I was pretty excited to see they offered almond milk in their coffee. I told the man what I wanted, and he stared at the women who walked away to sit down and just stood there like he was upset he would have to make it before huffing an saying ‘sure’ with a glare. When I’m offering to spend $ 4.75 on a latte, or buying anything for that matter, so politeness would have been nice. Coffee was ok, ended up tossing it out half way thru a walk around town because there was no way I was going to drink it there. Being rude is not the way to gain customers, or good reviews.

So I figured today would be a good day to write a review of this place because of a special milestone I reached for myself personally. Today, for the first time in my life that I can ever remember, I turned in one of those«Buy ten get one free» cards for a free coffee. So it’s safe to say I’ve come here often(it helps that I have an office nearby). I’m no coffee connoisseur, but I do think the coffee I’ve had here always tastes very good. On a couple occasions I’ve gotten food(biscuits and gravy and pork sandwiches if I recall correctly), and it was satisfying and affordable. They have fast and free wifi internet which makes this a good spot to be productive as well. I like the vibe here — it’s downtown with a very«mom and pop» small town feel — and you can tell it’s family oriented. I like the legos and various displays in the window as well! As another reviewer mentioned, be sure to check out the seating area in the back and their patio. It might not be apparent that this area exists, so you may want to ask the staff about it. The back room is cozy and can make for a good lunchtime office. The patio is nice and overlooks the gorgeous Silver Creek. Just today I saw some colorful ducks swimming around in the creek, and the weather is still temperate and enjoyable. Quite a nice departure from sitting in a corporate Starbucks listening to Jack Johnson if you ask me.

First it was the drama about my dog — apparently no one has heard of an «emotional needs» service animal so I was asked if I could sit outside. No problem. I ordered a pastrami and sauerkraut and got a roast beef and sauerkraut grilled on a George Foreman press. First the sandwich took 10 minutes to make so the thought of another 10 minutes and I said forget it and asked for a refund. The owner seemed shocked but I wasn’t about to have them do weirder things to my sandwich. Really? You thought I ordered Roast Beef and Sauerkraut… that people would like something like that… or were you annoyed that I tried to bring my dog in because there were no signs, let alone seats outside but I tried to make the best of it? BTW, the kid working in there wasn’t of age…

Pluses: On the main drag, back porch overlooking river, good wifi connection, good beans. Downsides: The new owners seem suspicious and stingy, and pretty new to coffee making /service industry. Their grade school age son hangs out behind the counter all day staring at a smart phone. Lame summer for a kid.

As far as coffeehouses go, this one was only OK. But you will be missing out if you stay in the front room. All of the interesting seating is in the back room and if you are lucky enough to visit on a sunny day, then sit on the back deck overlooking Silver Creek. They use beans from Pacific Coffee(Corvallis). My drink wasn’t terribly hot and since I walked in behind another group, there was a long wait since only one barista was working. I’ll be checking out another local coffeehouse on my next visit through town.

We were visiting the Oregon Gardens and stopped in this café for lunch beforehand. It’s a casual place. We got lasagna, French Onion soup(lots of onions), both of which were delicious and clearly made in the kitchen from scratch. We also got a salad which was made from fresh greens, with hazelnuts and apple chunks, a totally proper great salad. Two thumbs up. Cheerful young waitresses/café help too.

I recently had a customer gathering(very short notice) because it was HOT and we needed ice cream. Silver Creek Coffee House was very accommodating and made sure to have plenty of ice cream in stock and iced coffee for us. We all sat by the new air conditioner on couches and enjoyed a short break in our busy day.

I’m not a huge coffee drinker, but I had some time to kill and felt like a cup of tea. Silver Creek Coffee House has 2 areas, the larger main area where the counter is and another smaller area for studying or reading. I think they also make sandwiches and there may be wine tasting sometimes. The also have a computer with internet access for a small per minute fee. I like this place because it is independent and unique.
