I was on a mission to find a great dentist because my last dentist made me feel like what I think when I brush my own teeth: «Brush fast and get it over with, so you can hop in bed to watch your last Netflix episode of the night.» Ok, I admit. More like 3 episodes.
Anyway, with my last dentist, my cleanings were quick and impersonal. I was on the hunt for somebody who cared about me and my oral hygiene and health from visit to visit, so that I can finally stop dentist hopping. Serial Dentist Dating, maybe?
That is when I came across Dr. Saba.
Her office is newly renovated, so it is clean and pristine looking. A homely vibe with some rustic accents that welcome you upon entering. Now throw in some super high tech machines. You don’t expect too much when you enter the building and hallway, so this is a nice surprise.
I have been to Dr. Saba’s office three times now and each time, I have had to wait no more than five minutes. This is great as being on time to places after my appointments is one of my greatest measures of successful adulting.
During my visits with Dr. Saba, she has been nothing short of warm and inviting. Add in her extreme attention to detail, great skill with those scary hook type dental tools, and VOILA — you’ve got yourself a great dentist. She has always gone above and beyond with my cleanings: explaining to me what everything is, answering all the questions I (always) have, and remembering details from visits prior. During today’s visit, she told me my lymph nodes were swollen and asked if I was getting sick. It’s like magic, how did she know!?! Jk. But it was sweet that she knew and pointed it out. I appreciated it a lot.
For as long as I live in the area, I will continue to see Dr. Saba. I have even brought my brother on board and recommend her to all my friends.

I hadn’t gone to the dentist in about 1−½ years even though I do have Dominion Dental insurance. I just hate dentists in general. Some seem like they really don’t care if you have great teeth or not or even if you come get your teeth cleaned every 6 months. Some seem to sell and sell and sell you more than you need.
Dr. Saba was very professional. Her office is newly decorated which makes you immediately believe she wants her patients to enjoy a visit to the dentist. I once had a dentist that didn’t care a ceiling tile was water stained. I kept staring at the same tile for 6 months even though I told him he should change the tile since the clients do nothing but stare at the darn ceiling! Anyway back to Dr. Saba the office is newly decorated…
Since I was new to her office she had taken new xrays with the stand up type of xray that whirls around your head and even the type that you sit down. She then took the time to explain she looks thoroughly at your mouth (at your inside of your cheeks) then even under your tongue etc. She checked my teeth thoroughly and cleaned them with a ultrasonic water pick type thing. remember this is when dentist find things they can fix and charge up your bill … I am glad on this point Dr. Saba was absolutely the opposite. She mentions something like a chipped tooth. If it does not need to be fixed and you don’t care to have it fixed she goes on and doesn’t say another word about it !!!
I had two fillings that I new were broken fixed during my second visit. She was careful during the procedure to make sure that the Novocaine was good and numb enough before she started drilling !!! Unlike the Blake Shelton song «Some Beach» She even worked on both teeth so I didn’t have to come back another time …

I have been searching for a dentist for sometime. After getting a recommendation for Dr. Saba, I made an appointment to sse her. So, glad I did. Dr. Saba and her assistant performed the best exam that I think I have experinced in years. Dr. Saba was very informative and took the time to listen to what I had to say.
Her office is very inviting and comfortable as it was newly redesigned and decorated as of last year. The equipment was what I was hoping for in a dentist office, new and very much up to date.
I would highly recommend Dr. Saba to anyone wanting to see an excellent dentist.

Dr. Sara Saba is an excellent dentist. I had to have two crowns put on and I was amazed by her thoroughness. She made sure each crown fit perfectly and even sent them back for reworking when they didn’t. She took the care and time to make sure all was perfect.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Saba. Even though it had been a while since I had been to a dentist, she made me feel at ease right from the start. She paid great attention to detail and was professionally present throughout the appointment. I never felt like she was pushing me out the door. She took the time to discuss preventative measures, noting that I had two pitted areas on two back teeth that were at high risk for becoming cavities. She went on to discuss measures to reduce the risk of developing those cavities, including paying particular attention to those areas while brushing and using a fluoride mouthwash. She could tell that I had been flossing incorrectly and took the time to demonstrate proper technique. I have been to a number of good dentists in the past, but Dr. Saba’s friendly approach and willingness to educate her patients really sets her apart. I’ll be returning!

My experience at Dental Center of Aspen Hill was waste of time. I read one person good recommendation in this site and went to see Dr. Sara Saba DDS. I visited the office in September 2014. This place is under construction, there was painting smell, the receptionist look disorganized, and I was there 15 minutes early and filled the necessary form. I had to complain to the receptionist after waiting 30minute more than my appointment time. I didn’t get any advice from Dr. Sara about my grinding problem; I have cavities need to fill. I was told the receptionist will give me a call to get appointment, but had to call back after waiting two weeks. Over all I am not happy about my experience that I have to look other dentist.

I had a wonderful experience at Dental Center of Aspen Hill. I’m usually not a huge fan of going to the dentist, but coming here changed that. I was greeted and given forms right away, and once I filled them out I was immediately seen by the dentist, Sara. She told me she had recently bought the dentistry from the previous owner and is in the process of completely renovating the space. I appreciated her kind and gentle demeanor. I don’t have the best teeth and often forget to floss, etc. I’ve been to dentists where it’s felt like the Inquisition when they ask about dental hygiene. After having experienced that, it was such a relief to have her tactfully make suggestions on dental health. I also appreciated how she looked up my copay when I had a cavity, even printing out a detailed list explaining exactly how much was covered by my insurance. In addition, I felt my cleaning was very thorough and Sara really took time to explain how best to have beautiful and healthy teeth. I had a great experience at this dentistry and highly recommend them.
