I’m the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department Administration and I contacted the Da Vinci’s Florist to decorate for our The Rockville Volunteer Fire Department 95^th Anniversary Banquet and Awards Ceremony. The glasses of flowers and candles were so beautiful and thank you very much for donations!

Love, love, love Da Vinci’s Florist! Sharone was so helpful and had great suggestions during our consultation with him. He understood exactly what we wanted. We were so pleased when we went in to see our trial center pieces. I followed up with my point of contact, Jelena, a week or so before our wedding and she was very pleasant in our emails. I would not change a single thing on the day of our wedding with our flowers. Everything was more than beautiful!!! They went above and beyond with our look. I would highly recommend them since we were so pleased with everything they did for our wedding. Thank you, thank you!

Deciding to use Diana and DaVinci as my florist was the single best vendor decision I made for the wedding. Diana and what she created were incredible.
The whole process of working with Diana was easy and she instantly understood what I wanted. I would send her pictures or describe ideas I had and she made them come to life. She was so flexible and was able to create my dream décor while completely working within our budget. Diana and DaVinci created the most beautiful wall of lights that served as the backdrop to my ceremony and the backdrop to our head table for the reception. The table arrangements were also stunning and Diana worked with us to create the look we wanted at a price we were comfortable with. Also, she brought extra table adornments the day of, so if a particular table didn’t look like what we had wanted, she added décor until she was happy and able to achieve the look. Everyone wanted to take home the flowers they were so beautiful. It was light, romantic, and classic. I have received more compliments on the backdrop and the floral arrangements than anything else. I have already sent their information to three different brides begging to have them do their décor as well.
I cannot recommend Diana enough. She was so fabulous to work with. She was extremely professional and always sent quick responses. When my original wedding coordinator quit 5 weeks before the wedding, Diana knew how nervous I was that the day of the wedding things would be a disaster, so since we had such a good working relationship she stepped up and assured me that that she would oversee all things décor to make sure what I wanted was accomplished. She worked with the venue staff and the lighting people and ensured they created my vision. It was such a relief to not have to be in the venue all day making sure all the separate vendors achieved my goal because I was so confident that Diana would handle it. She is a lifesaver and her work is absolutely beautiful.

If I could leave no stars I would. WARNING: These people are not professional and do not deserve your business. I had the WORST experience.
Sharone cancelled on my fiancé and me an hour before our appointment. This was after I had confirmed the appointment and gotten an email confirming our appointment which I made over a month in advance. Well actually, Sharone is so rude he didn’t even bother to get on the phone and cancel himself. He sent his assistant Maria who could barely explain why they were canceling the appointment at literally the LAST MINUTE. She actually hung up on me when I kept asking her questions! They were unbelievably rude and unapologetic. Terrible customer service and clearly poor business owners. They did us a favor– we only want they best for our wedding and Da Vinci’s is certainly NOT it.
Buyer beware. Strongly advise working with a different florist for your event.

Sharone and his assistant made my fiancé cry. They were unprofessional and dismissive.
We made our appointment well in advance and confirmed a few days ahead of time. My bride-to-be’s parents came to town to help with wedding planning. The day before, during dinner, Sharone’s assistant called to cancel the appointment. We politely said that this was our wedding planning weekend and that if they could not take us, we’d go with another florist to which Sharone’s assistant reversed course and said that they could see us. We headed up to Silver Spring to make sure we’d be there early and minutes before the appointment, Sharone’s assistant called to cancel. This seems like a big organization — no one else was available? From a professional standpoint, I understand that emergencies happen, but Da Vinci’s treated us so rudely: making my bride-​to-​be cry is a cardinal sin. There are many florists in this town that want our business and can treat us appropriately.
Planning a wedding is stressful enough — vendors should be reducing stress, not adding to it.

Mickey and her team did a phenomenal job with my «southern glam» garden style wedding. I wasn’t going to post a review but after seeing people say that they are unable to do new things, I had to offer a different experience. DaVinci’s seems to be used to doing evening events with uplighting and creative floral displays but after seeing their level of work, I wanted to see where Mickey could take my vision for a southern glam morning wedding. Her work exceeded my expectations.
They are not the most responsive vendor that I had but in terms of creativity and making sure the event is to the next level, DaVinci’s Florist definitely did that. When I entered my reception I literally gasped to see all of the flowers and candles and all of the details that Mickey made sure she attended to. (I uploaded my sweetheart table to give you an idea). She brought extra things to make sure the room looked the way I imagined and they were very transparent about costs and kind when I said that something was out of my budget. I believe that with something like décor, you have to be aware that you get what you pay for and you also have to know what you want. You can’t expect to uplight a room and to have it look like a Pinterest wedding but you need to instead consider all of the ways that you can make the room your own and make it as beautiful as you can afford. I highly recommend Mickey as an event designer because she is amazingly creative and knows how to take an event to the next level. Thanks Mickey and DaVinci’s Florist!

My husband and I selected Da Vinci’s for lighting after visiting our venue (Carnegie Institute of Science, Washington D.C.) while it was being setup for another wedding. Da Vinci’s staff placed lights in the Rotunda (dance floor), ballroom (dinner tables), and boardroom (bar area) of the venue and we found that the lights really helped transform the rooms (lighting really is an essential wedding décor). Diana at Da Vinci’s was very easy to work with via e-​mail and responsive to my questions and request. The colors we selected were just as I had pictured and we experienced no issues with setup or take down. I highly recommend Da Vinci’s Lighting due to their professional installation, ease to work with, and pricing.

It was awesome experience for us to plan our wedding with Da Vinci’s Florist! They are creative and talented. Our wedding was exactly how we imagined it, every single detail that we discussed at the initial appointment was executed at it perfection! Will recommend them to everybody who is planning wedding, party, anniversary etc.

I was so frustrated and worried about my wedding decoration but the minute I got into his studio, I knew he is the one who will make my wedding perfect !
He works with passion and he is so gentle with his clients. The prices were very reasonable !
Da Vinci’s team was punctual, they delivered the flower fifteen minutes before the set time ! They also delivered the bride and made of honor bouquets plus the boutonnières on time. Everything was perfect and I would highly recommend him .

Adequate at best. Décor ideas are okay but lighting is horrible. If you are used to high end events and using professional in a large market — this is not it. Their specialty is NOT lighting and you will be disappointed.

Sharone is the best! He’s definitely good at what he does. My fiancé has a bromance with Sharone lol. We have complete faith he’s going to make our wedding fantastic! :)

Da Vinci was another one of my favorite vendors for my wedding! I had somewhat of a complicated order because I was working with a wholesaler and Da Vinci gave me just as much attention as they would if I were securing everything from them. Sharone, Krista, and Lathan were invaluable in taking my vision for the wedding and turning it into something that I could have only dreamed of. My bouquet was beautiful but edgy, my centerpieces were a floral dream especially the two for my VIP tables that Krista designed on her own, and the furniture I rented was a gorgeous complement to everything. There were several times I had to make changes to due to budget constraints and Sharone and Krista provided me fantastic advice on what was a must and what could be stripped away. Sharone, Krista, and Lathan were so funny and pleasant to work with that I really enjoyed planning this aspect of my wedding with them and looked forward to seeing them every time. DaVinci does amazing work at an affordable price, delivered what they said they would, and I never, ever had any issues with them and their work. Thank you and Bravo Sharone, Krista, and Lathan!!! I would highly, highly recommend them!!!

This review is of my consultation — I did not use them.
I went for a consult in May 2010 and was decidedly underwhelmed by the experience. I don’t feel like I was being listened to. When I was trying to explain what I wanted (nontraditional, herbal/​natural/​woodsy elements, etc), he kept referring me to their portfolios. When I pointed out that I’d spent the last 15 minutes looking at them and there was nothing in the portfolio that looked like what I wanted he seemed to be at a loss. They aren’t «floral designers» as much as a maybe a factory type florist that apparently can only make what they’ve made before.
They do have a great space in Silver Spring and if you are looking for lighting and furniture rentals prices seem to be about average for the region. However, for the amount of money they want, I’d recommend you shop around.

I used Da Vinci Florist as a vendor in my September, 2009 wedding.
I absolutely LOVED my bouquet. It was vibrant and beautiful and the flowers even looked amazing the following day! They did a wonderful job with our centerpieces (we had submerged flowers), and we received many compliments on them. The bridesmaid bouquets and the bouts and corsages were great as well. They made 2 separate deliveries at no extra charge — one to the hotel and one to the site — and they were on time, if not a little early!
I visited 3 florists and Da Vinci’s was most willing to work within my budget. I worked with Sharone, who was very flexible. I did make a few changes along the way, and he was great with that. I did have to call/​email multiple times to get a response on a few occasions, hence I’ve subtracted a star for responsiveness.
I would definitely recommend them.

Went there for some valentine’s day flowers. I just found the place via Unilocal.The place is a little bit off the beat and path and I wasn’t sure I was in the right place. The door said appointments only, so I wasn’t sure but once I walked in they sure helped me out. I take it that walk-​ins aren’t there usual type of customer, looks like they specialize in large events. However, I asked for some roses and orchids and they put together an arrangement that is sure to please just about anyone. I’m no flower expert but everything looked fresh and they even took me in the back to take a look at their stock so I could pick what I wanted. I recommend going here to anyone, service was excellent and personal, oh yeah and the prices were good.

We ended up working with this fabulous vendor through our wedding planner, Shelby Tuck-​Horton of Exquisite Expressions and Events, Inc. All I can say is that this is a top notch florist and design company. In addition to the flowers, they also provided the uplighting for our wedding reception.
They have everything on site. And I do mean everything. All of their flowers come delivered fresh daily and they keep them in a huge refrigerated room, which is emptied out almost daily. They have a large floral design crew and specialize in unique floral décor. In the front is the showroom, and the back is something of a floral design factory full of florists putting together spectacular arrangements.
The end result was a clean, classy, yet simple and elegant, floral design for both the wedding at the church and the reception. I would absolutely use them again for any event.
