I have no idea where to start but it should probably be with a statement like «Dr. G. changed my life.». After my procedure I decided to make a change and with Atlantis’ support and positive reinforcement I did! I wouldn’t have been able to do this all by myself. I am so grateful for the staff and doctor that helped me. The choice to have my procedure done was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It was a jump start in to a new lifestyle. Now almost 30 pounds lighter I am excited about my journey, future and health.

I had smart lipo and I am happy at this point the staff was nice especially Dr. Gonzalez so if someone leaves a negative remark its because they wanted a miracle worked on an obese patient and he advises he may not get it all in one visit. We as women complain it takes tou to do the work as well

Okay So a bit sore today. I can’t take the medications because of my job. It is only the first day after surgery so that is to be expected. I was able to work today which was a plus. Sitting is hard, I have some pictures I will post but please keep in mind this is the day after. I will post another set in a few weeks which should show better results with out swelling and bruising. The staff is wonderful! They were so helpful and kind. As is Dr, G He is the Best. He took a lot of time with me. Worked slowly around areas that became sore. He played great music and was up beat through out the surgery. I have every intent to work on my weight with him to refine my other areas. He explained my thyroid levels were low and that I had many vitamin deficiencies. He is working with me to bring those levels up and to improve my over all health. Dr. G and his Staff are really great.

I have been going to Atlantis Medi Spa for about 5 years. I have gotten almost everything done. I had serious acne scars in my chest and neck. Dr. G was the only doctor that could successfully treat them. He treated my scars with microdermabrasion and chemical peels. The difference was night and day. I won’t go into details about all the other things that I have gotten done because a lady never tells, but rest assure that I look good for my age.

I had Smart Lipo on my abdomen, arms, and side. The doctor suggested contouring would make my shape less straight and more like a violin or hourglass. My arms were flabby because I had lymph node removal from breast cancer surgery. The doctor ruined my figure. My shape is uneven now. He burned my skin on my abdomen, and now I have a 5 inch scar on one side and a two-​inch scar on the other side of my abdomen. In addition, my abdomen and arms are still lumpy even though I followed the directions and massaged them. I have used scar treatment cream and oils to help improve the look of my skin, but nothing has worked. I feel so much worse about the way I look now that I don’t even want my husband to see my abdomen, and I hate touching the scars. I can’t afford any more treatment, so I am stuck with this huge mistake.

I love Atlantis! I’ve been a patient since 2009 and have always received excellent care! Each time I have done the protocol it has worked for me. I recently gained some of the weight back (nobody to blame but myself!), so I plan on going back soon. My only complaints would be the distance (downtown DC would be so much easier to get to) and the sharp price increases.

THANK YOU Atlantis!!! I am a woman in her early thirties, who hadn’t worn shorts for years. My bathroom counter was full of hundreds of dollars worth of unsuccessful cellulite products. Well this summer, I officially cleared the counter. After hearing about a recent friends success with D Actor treatments at Atlantis, I had to try it myself. Wow is all I can say! I’ve received nothing but compliments and my legs have never looked better.

Oh and whoever that ‘LapO’ person is who keeps posting, you obviously don’t know what you are talking about. Please do your research before posting. The doctor IS board certified and does have plenty of experience. The lumps take many months to go away completely. Mine have been making great progress over the past 7 weeks since my surgery. I get a lymphatic drainage massage once a week by a clinical massage therapist who says they are getting better very week and I drink lots of water, all of which they tell you to do. Maybe if you don’t take care of yourself the lumps might stay, but if you follow simple instructions you will be fine. You can actually massage them yourself as well.

After a less-​than-​positive first experience, I was contacted by Natalia, a patient care coordinator, who had read my Unilocal review. She was extremely apologetic, and offered me a complimentary microdermabrasion, as well as the opportunity to purchase a second one at the Groupon price if I desired. She asked me for details about the person I spoke to the first time in an effort to find out who was rude.
I had my appointment today and it was very enjoyable. The person who did my microdermabrasion was nice and seemed very experienced, with very sure hand movements. She also explained the process well throughout. I was also taken within 5 – 10 minutes of arriving, which was nice because I think it is always important to respect people’s time.
All in all, I am glad I gave this place another try. Natalia was great by following up with me after the review and she even called and left a message later that night to see how my service went. I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything else, which was also nice. I want to see how my skin looks in a few days (I was told it will look very refreshed in youthful in 3 – 4 days when the new layer grows back) and providing there are no problems there, I would definitely come back and would recommend giving Atlantis a try.

I had a completely different experience than the other reviewer. Dr G is the bomb. I had a mesotherapy and lipodissolve combo series of treatments on my thigh/​saddlebags before I got married and let me tell you, I looked amazing by my wedding.
Be warned, the treatment is painful, both involve get 50+ injections at a time in the area but it is worth it. I finally figured to take Advil before my services and stay on them for a few days and it helped. Dr G would squat down and sculpt my legs as some of my fat on one thight rolled back and to the right.
Dr G will also coach you on nutrition and has a program, but I knew I wasn’t going to follow it so I didn’t go through with it. Be warned, both of the procedures — lipodissolve and mesotherapy, are not permanent if you start gaining weight. Unlike liposuction, where the fat wont grow back, your fat cells are only drained and you can gain weight back in the area. On the positive side, unlike lipo, when you gain the fat back, it is uniform and there aren’t dents.
Dr G now has the laser lipo which I will do next time as I like cheese and guacamole too much and will just get fat again. He also has tons of lasers and machines. I wanted to get my veins lasered off and because I have olive skin, he made me do a patch test first although I was ready to plop down more money.

I am SO unhappy with Atlantis Med Spa right now. Almost a month ago now, I made an appointment with them for this past Tuesday at 4:45pm. They said that was the first appointment they had available in the early afternoon/​evening time so I waited patiently for a month. The day of my appointment, I had requested to get off work 2 hours early so I could make it to the spa on time despite the rush hour. I had shaved the area the night before, applied the numbing cream at 3:45 and left work before 4. After I was stuck in terrible rush hour traffic for 30 minutes and was ALMOST at the spa, I got a call from them saying THAT THEY HAD TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT! Literally 10 mins before it was due to start. The lady on the phone apologized so I didn’t get too upset but things only got worse. She said she was JUST now told to call me and cancel because the face machine was scheduled for maintenance (why couldn’t someone let me know in advance?). I mean, how unprofessional is that! But that’s not all!!! I told her I obviously did not want to wait another month before getting an appointment and she said that she would call me right back with possible timings when I could come in. I’m still waiting for her to call me back 5 days later. In fact I decided to call them the next day and left them a message. I requested that someone please call me back with an appointment time, but like I said NO CALLBACK YET. I am extremely displeased with their service. I’ll be sure to tell my friends to avoid Atlantis.
