Business Owner
Dr. Horwitz has treated thousands of patients for sports injuries, provided coverage at 100’s of athletic events, and trained youth, college, professional and Olympic athletes. He was selected by the US Olympic Committee as the sole chiropractor for the 1996 US Olympic Team, traveled internationally with USA Track and Field. In 1996 the governor named him chairman of the Maryland Council on Physical Fitness, 2002 — 2004. He was the team chiropractor for George Mason University and consulted with American University, Georgetown University and University of Maryland. He has provided care for Jesus Christ Super Star, The Rockettes, Dance Theatre of Harlem. In 2006, he was named to the Guide to America’s Top Chiropractors and Washingtonian magazine chose him as a top sports medicine doctor. Dr. Horwitz is an RKC, has run marathons, was the 1986 AAU Collegiate Mr. America Bodybuilding Class Winner, and was 198lb master’s winner at the 2000 100% RAW World Powerlifting Championships.
