I just ran across Mazdatrix listed under a company I had Googled to see if the original owners were still involved with Nitrous Oxide Systems in Long Beach CA. What a surprise & brutal reality check, all at once. I’d met them all about the same time, 1979 having had the opportunity to work at the SEMA Conventions all over, that follow the NASCAR 500 races. Therefore I can attest to the exemplary dedication to Customer Service one could ever hope for. Dave & Robbie Lemon“s entire family lived and breathed Mazda for over 35 years. And I have to admit I missed out, by not jumping ship. Robbie’s family and my own go back to our father’s going to school together :) Dear Hatfield was the star of every sport, my Daddy was 2 yrs behind him, appreciating this legend until his passing 4÷29÷85, exactly 23 yrs before the Father of these incredibly gifted geniuses, Robbie & Scott. So that person reviewing with such ugly, negative comments, signing in with only initials, is LYING through his teeth. Dave, Robbie…YOU’RE THE BEST !!!

I own six 1stGen RX7s (4 of them GSL-​SEs) & have purchases $ 1000s worth of parts from this shop in ’93~’95. Part sources were less common then. I’m very experienced with these cars & Wankel engines. Parts & expertise is one thing they do have. Too bad this seems to have gone to their head & have a general sense that people who call them are generally annoying. Today I called the first time in over a decade to maybe gain some insight into what I think is a unique situation with one of my. The guy gave me no benefit of doubt, asked me no questions, & pigeon-​holed me into ‘just another idiot calling’. They could do so much better by just HOW they interact with customers. Why not try «Maybe look at this thing?» vs. «You must have made a mistake.» Both give advice — the 1^st is helpful, the 2^nd being an a**hole. I’m not an idiot & won’t be bothering them again. I design & sell expensive equipment to heavy-​industry. If I spoke to my customers like they did to me I’d be out of biz or in hospital with broken-​jaw. Lucky for Mazdatrix rotary engines are unique & rare that allows them to pull this attitude. I’m not angry — just done with them. Bring some cookies & coffee to them — maybe that’ll help you?

This place carries literally every single part you need for anything rotary. During my rebuild process i brought them my irons to get lapped, got everything streetported, as well as the rotating assembly balanced. The quality of work is world class.

i’ve know and shopped at this place for over 10 years. These guys have been in the rotary business for a LONG time and they know wut they’re talking about. They have parts for any rotary powered cars and then some. If u have anything rotary u need to visit this place. Service is great and the staff are very knowledgable. Best part is, they pretty much have any part in stock at all time at prices that will beat the dealer anyday!

for rotary engined mazdas, this can basically be your one-​stop shop. they carry one of THE biggest inventory of parts from old skool to rx-​8. their shop and mechanics are excellent and the rate is reasonable, especially for their quality of work and experience. the only thing is that they get busy and backed up w/​work so you should definitely call before you go. this is one of my favorite shops around
