Fantastic selection of beers, knowledgable staff, and friendly regulars.
Absolutely recommend going to this bar (as long as you can stand the smoke).

First time going to Round Bar after hearing good things. Went in early Friday evening and saw the place wasn’t that busy, and took a seat at the bar with my fiancé. After about 5 minutes of not being greeted by any staff nor approached for our drink order, we thought maybe they were just preoccupied with other customers and would get to us soon. 15 MINUTES LATER we had failed to grab any staff’s attention (they avoided eye contact and blatantly ignored us when we called out), and needless to say still hadn’t ordered a drink.
We got up and left. If a place is busy, I can understand waiting. It was not busy, and we did not feel welcomed. We told our group to change plans and meet us at Strange Brew, where we had a fantastic time. Never going back to Round Bar again.

This place is great! The staff know ALL the beers, can suggest something new to try, try the yard of ale. The place is nice to go to with friend if you want to talk and later it picks up. darts, pool, LOTS of TVs.
