Starting luminous nw was the fulfillment of a dream to bring excellent lighting to every home in the Pacific Northwest. We are currently pursuing that goal.

Business Owner

Ever since discovering lighting design in college, I have been fascinated with how humans are affected by light. I started in theatrical lighting design where learned how to dramatically use the extremes of light and dark.

Wanting to help people with the integration of light into their day-​to-​day lives, I switched to residential lighting and freelanced for three years.

The start of luminous nw allows me to pursue my passion full-​time and see the Pacific Northwest become the best-​lit region in the United States!
