Brighton North Apartments

I lived in this building from Feb 2009-​April 2010. Since day 1 it has been horrible and nearly intolerable. The first week I moved in my garbage disposal system broke. When I told the manager who lives right next door to me she said she would get it fixed and never did. After a month of her not helping me I had to find an outside source to fix it. The building has 3 laundry rooms and all of them have issues with the washers and dryers. The manager is unhelpful and never home. The hallways reek of cigarette smoke even though it is supposed to be a non smoking building. Also, in the winter my ceiling started to leak. When someone came by to figure out what was going on they found a large pan that was overflowing with water underneath the pipe in the attic. Basically, management knew there was a problem with the pipes but never fixed it! There are police cars in the parking lot nearly every other day and most of the neighbors are rude and noisy. I was so happy when my lease was up

Set back off a slightly busy street in North City, this apartment complex is just a few apartments in one «L”-shaped building. The rents are fair and the neighbors have been less noisy than in other places. Granted, that is always subject to change but the location and ease of getting to the freeway make this a pretty decent place to live.
