The UPS Store

Ups has the same prize all around the country (very expensive) but the service in this ups store is the worst, those girls are mad, and nasty with the customers.

I wish I could rate this store 0-​Stars!!! They will rip you off by adding fees for packaging services that are not needed. BEWARE if you use this store!
I used this store to return auto parts back to the supplier. I was told by the UPS associate it would cost $ 155.85 to send the parts back. I was shocked, but the post office was closed and I had to send the parts back that day.
I later researched using the UPS website to find that for the size and weight of my packages I should be charged nor more than a maximum of $ 70.00 dollars. I was quite annoyed after seeing this and I called the store the very next morning.
I spoke to a different associate and advised her of the situation. The associate told me that all packages had to be re-​boxed to prepare for shipping as per UPS standards (this is not true) and that the re-​packaging adds additional costs. I asked why the re-​packaging would bring the cost so high… Long story short they refunded me over $ 80 dollars and blamed it on the original associate using too large a re-​packaging box.
Well the story doesn’t end because the parts store questioned why the shipping (that they had to refund me) was around $ 70 dollars and that it seemed really high. The parts store manager advised he sends the same parts out using UPS all the time and the shipping is no more than $ 38 dollars. That means this store tried to OVERCHARGE ME BY $ 117 DOLLARS!!!
I ended up having to call the corporate office (who had very friendly associates) to get a refund of the difference. The corporate office tried several attempts to get the store owner to call me and resolve the situation between us, but the store manager never called and so the corporate store paid the difference out of their own pocket and also confirmed the $ 38 Dollar shipping price that was mentioned by the parts store manager.
I have warned all my family and friends to stay away from this store and the amusing part was that some of them had their own horror stories to tell about this place.
Please don’t make the same mistake that I did. Lesson well learned. :-/
