Skydive South Shore

This was my first sky diving experience and I must say I was really impress. The staff on a whole was extremely friendly and professional. Our instructors Erica and Nick may us feel comfortable that we were in great hands. This was my first time skydiving but it wont be my last. I will be back next season with more friends!

My experience at Skydive South Shore was AMAZING! Erika was exceptional! She was professional, educational, warm and she was genuinely happy to be part of my first experience sky diving. I had gone sky diving for my first time alone and Erika made me safe and comfortable. She made conversation and truly provided excellent service. I am so glad I chose Skydive South Shore for my first experience. I can’t wait to go back for another jump! I recommend the experience to anyone and everyone. Skydiving was liberating, freeing and an adrenaline high. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to do it! High fives to the entire Skydive South Shore Team! Thank you.

I brought my sister with me for her birthday. After we signed many pages of waivers, she sat there hilariously contemplating the meaning of life. It was a beautiful flight to the jump site. I definitely had my moment of terror once the plane door opened and then it was time to JUUUUUUMP!
It was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to jump again. My instructor was great, experienced, and made me feel at ease. I’d highly recommend it to anyone.

After several times of rescheduling, my experience was worth the wait!
I decided to take my boyfriend skydiving for his first fathers day, and the experience was absolutely awesome. Let’s just say I get more nervous at job interviews than jumping.
My instructor was Nick. The best fella in town. He and his partner assured us and explained to us thoroughly everything that was about to happen and what to expect.
As a first time skydiver, I would do it again. The place it’s self was very clean and orderly. The planes were quite small, enough to fit 5 people so if you go in a group you’d probably have to wait a while.
Their honesty is great too. The staff suggested I reschedule several times due to the weather. We live over 2 hours away so that was much appreciated. Thanks Nick!

Came here for my birthday and whew was this an amazing experience! Keeping this one short and sweet because I had no complaints. The staff is amazing and they get things done!

Went with a group of 8 and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Everyone was super friendly. Skydiving for the first time was amazing and the instructors made the experience very fun. My friends and I jumped with either Nick or Erica. They were awesome :) thanks South Shore!

My GF and I just had our first sky diving experience with Skydive South Shore this past weekend and it was FANTASTIC! The staff is very helpful and the instructors were very knowledgeable. We knew that we were in good hands with these folks. I think if anything, their customer service is what really stood out for me personally. We ordered the DVD and photo package and realized after the jump that we’d like to get the raw footage of the dive. They were able to go above and beyond and send us over all the raw video footage that we asked for which made us very happy. If you’ve never gone sky diving before and are looking for a place to break your cherry, go to Skydive South Shore.

This place is wonderful! I and my friend took our first jump there on Wednesday. Everything there was great fun. Stuffs were very nice. They will carefully check your gear and explain everything you should know for a good jumping. (practice your banana shape well!) I jumped with my instructor Nick who was very easygoing and patient. I felt comfort and stopped to be too nervous because of him. Thank you so much Nick! You are definitely a hero! (My friend’s instructor, Joe, was also a very good instructor, my friend told me that after we landing.) The real experience showed me that skydiving is not as bad as I thought. I totally enjoyed the whole process. My fall was just like sleeping in the sky with a huge fan facing me. I am considering another jump there. Can’t wait for that :)

Best time ever! First time I ever jumped and the staff made me feel really comfortable and at ease. They explained everything thoroughly. The most bizarre thing was reading the small liability statement into a camera, that’s when I realized what I was about to do. I did the tandem jump with Joe, my instructor. He also took great pictures of me in the plane sweating buckets and the whole ride down.
The freefall is not as bad as I thought it would be, rollercoasters are much much worse. Freefall feels like you’re going through a giant wind tunnel and you can’t be scared because you’re too high up. Even the landing was pretty smooth as we both slid across the grass on our butts. Fantastic experience and I can’t wait to do it again.

I found this place from Living Social and decided to try it with a friend for our first tandem jump. The experience was amazing. Both ground and flight crew were very friendly and professional. Many thanks to Nick (my tandem instructor), Joe (my friend’s tandem instructor) and Jared (our pilot) for an exciting, memorable, and thrilling first skydiving experience!
I definitely recommend this place, and I will definitely be coming back if I decide to pursue more skydiving.

For as nervous as I was before skydiving, the employees at South Shore made me feel very comfortable every step of the way by answering every question I had. When it came time to do the jump, my instructor Nick was very calming and I appreciate him putting me at ease.
Skydiving is an amazing and thrilling experience. I really do think people become their own worst enemies sometimes because they psyche themselves out too much. Honestly my nerves was worse than the short instant of fear when you jump. After, the sight and the feeling of soaring through the air is thrilling. I would do it again and with this specific company. For this being my first jump, I’m so happy that I came across South Shore. The atmosphere was comfortable, the employees were informative and professional, and the experience was beautiful.

Went there this Sunday with a group of friends for my boyfriends birthday. The staff was so wonderful ! They let you feel «safe» from the start with jokes and helpful information! We had Joe and Nick be our instructors and I can’t thank them enough for this unique experience! The pictures and videos all turned out great, and they welcome you from the start! Thank you so much staff from Skydive South Shore, I will definitely jump with you guys again!

Obviously, I was completely terrified prior to jumping and am truly grateful I picked a great place to do this. The supporting staff is reassuring/​professional and Joe, my tandem dude, was awesome. The best part was being greeted with an ice pop post jump. They don’t have to do stuff like that, but they do.

Overall great tandem experience for first timers!!! Bought groupon deal for 4 and online reservations was a breeze. We were rescheduled due to weather but the staff was very helpful and accommodating with my date requests.
On the day itself, they video you signing the waiver. I never been video’d before but they do make sure you know you are assuming risks (aka death). The staff really makes you feel comfortable and have a very light and enthusiastic mood to calm your nerves. The plane is good for 4 people plus the pilot so FYI it is tight. My tandem guy Nick was great! He chats with you and gives you little info bits where we were in the sky etc and then tells you what you need to do when you need to do it. Once you are airborne, all you gotta do is enjoy the view. You also get to try maneuvering the parachute.
You will not regret going to this place for skydiving! Even my friend who is afraid of heights will book when we go for our next jump! Don’t be afraid!!! JUST DO IT!!!

Last year, one of my closest grad pals booked a skydive here on LivingSocial and shared it via a social network. It caught my eye and I thought «why not?» and proceeded to purchase the same deal.
Fast forward many months later and it came time to book the actual jump. Needless to say, all the fear and anxiousness I’d been avoiding about the jump bubbled to the surface with a vengeance.
Still, I didn’t wuss out.
And I am so glad that I didn’t wuss out. Our tandem guys, Nick & Joe, were super laid-​back and professional — they helped make a potentially terrifying experience into one that we’d like to experience again.
Definitely recommend Skydive South Shore for all first time jumpers.

Nick, Nick, Nick all the way. This was my second jump. First was Summer last year. Nick is calm, supportive and informative. Def recommend him for first time tandem jumpers.
