Ran in quick to grab my cat food and dog food I always get and the clerk and owner were instantly rude to my children. We had hardly even got in the door. Absolutely no reason to be that way. great place to go if you hate kids and want to make your customers feel like crap. I won’t be going here anymore

Not only did the staff at Nature’s Pet successfully suggest a dog food that would… uhm…reduce the excessive gas plaguing my yellow lab, (sorry Chloe – your secret is on the interwebs now) they have delivered the dog food TO MY FRONT DOOR, AFTER HOURS, when I’ve been in a jam. TWICE. Not only are the fine folks at Nature’s Pet super knowledgeable, the fact that they were willing to drive dog food to my HOUSE, after they had worked all day, is just proof of that extra level of care one receives from shopping at this incredible local pet store. The kind of personal service Nature’s Pet has given me is above and beyond the call of duty, and I really appreciate everything they’ve done for me, my family, and my furbabies. Thank you!

I love this place I am new to the area and not everyone carries taste of the wild puppy food so it was nice to find this place so close to me. I also adore how they have kitties for sale walking and sleeping throughout the place instead of in their cages. Definitely will continue to come here !
One last thing: This site says they are closed on Sunday’s but they are not I assure you they are open :)

Love this place! I have some of the worlds pickiest cats, and I am always able to find what I need here. The staff are knowledgeable about the food and other products. They have 2 roaming kitties to pet, one with oodles of extra toes! They also have some adoptable kitties which are adorable. They have great hours, which is very convenient.
And most importantly the staff are always friendly!

My husband and I have been shopping at this location of Nature’s pet for several years. We have seen it change and grow as it changed owners to the now current owner Jenny. The store to us is a very special place with a «Cheers» like atmosphere. Where both my husband and I and the needs of our pets are remembered.
Jenny and her staff have a close relationship with customers allowing them to recommend a new food or product that may be helpful.
Jenny was extremely knowledgeable and helpful getting our dog on a diet that has helped her with her allergies. We were at a dead end not knowing what to do, she had been to the vet 8x in 3 months and it seemed hopeless until diet change saved her skin!
Sherwood Nature’s Pet has been there with us as we’ve had our dogs allergies (to Everything almost!), a cat with cancer, a senior cat and new cats that have come into the family.
They even offer free classes helping you to better understand your pet and how to use the products they sell for the optimum health of your pet.
It is a great store full of high quality products not found elsewhere.
I can’t recommend it enough!

Love Nature’s Pet in Sherwood. Every time I go in I am greeted with a smile. They also have so much stuff, so for a dog lover like me, I could spend hours. Appreciate their help with food and treats that won’t upset my dog’s stomach. Knowledgeable, caring about pets and involved in the community… great combination and excited about their second store opening soon!

I shopped at Nature’s Pet Market in Sherwood for years and have always had great service. The current owners are super knowledgable in their products and have always gone above and beyond to help me. Our dog with allergies presented a challenge and they helped me navigate through their various foods to find the best one that would help him thrive and not have an allergic reaction. I highly recommend this store for all your pet needs in the area. I’ve moved away and miss them terribly.

I recently found this fun little store in mid 2014. It is the pet store to go to in the Sherwood area. My vet recommended a Rx diet that was too expensive for me. Jenny, the owner, took the time to educate me on other options and really helped. My dog is better now, my wallet is happier. Thanks. A big thanks to Jenny and her crew.

We have an elderly dog that’s been struggling with sore joints. We were lucky enough to have Jennifer help us when we stopped in searching for an alternative for «conventional» medicine. She was so knowledgeable about the different brands & what they were used for. It was obvious that she believed in the products she carried, & she was also a user of her own products. We really appreciated that she gave us options in different price points. We will continue to visit this store for all of our pet needs. Tip: be sure to visit the treat bar– perfect if you have different pets with different tastes!

This store is amazing! They have the most wonderful assortment of pet related stuff, food, supplies and everything you would need to take care of your pet. I am totally impressed. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Every time I have a question, they are ready to help. I can tell they are very passionate about what they do!

We have three dogs and foster a fourth. Because of our work with rescued dogs, a dog food manufacturer enrolled us into their frequent buyer program and coordinated things with Nature’s Pet. I usually purchase our dog food at the Orenco store but I left my office late and Sherwood was closest. I walked in just before closing and upon checking out, I showed my program card as I had earned a fee bag. As soon as the cashier saw the card, she immediately became very rude with me. If she didn’t want to accept the program card for whatever reason, she should have simply said so. I would have paid for the dog food, no questions asked. Instead she said she didn’t know what to do with the card as they processed everything electronically at their store. She then said she would have to speak with the owner who had stepped out and I would have to wait. She came back and said she would have to call the Orenco store to verify the purchases that were listed on the card with a validation signature from the cashier that sold each bag. She got off the phone and said that the Orenco manager told her that they did not have a way of confirming the purchases on the card. What??? That made absolutely no sense as all the purchases on the card were paid for and the Orenco location keeps track of all purchases on their computer system. I asked to speak to the owner who just happened to be in the check out area but had decided not get involved in the situation. I told the owner that the cashier did not have to demonstrate a bad attitude during the entire process. The owner defended her employee and said she was one of her strongest employees. The owner was not concerned about my dissatisfaction whatsoever. I told the owner that only because I needed the dog food and it was closing time, I would buy the dog food but they did not deserve my business. As I was walking out the owner yelled out, «Happy St. Patrick’s Day!» Needless to say, I will never shop there again.

Not worth the trip. The lady didn’t help me. I am young, she preferred to talk nonsense to an older couple. Degrading my dog’s breed and got snappy about not having my dog right beside me. She was rude. Unhelpful with the dog food.

This store has always been a favorite spot of mine, but even more so since it’s come into new ownership by the lady who’s been managing it for years. They’ve always been welcoming but now the new owners are already adding their own personal touches to the store. Each time I come in for my pet food, there are new products and the staff is very informed on everything they bring in. My only issue with this place is managing to walk out without buying more than I first anticipated!

I have been frequenting this particular store for about six years, thru its various owners. The new, current owners are by far the prize in the Cracker Jack box. As stated in the other reviews, Jenny is over the top knowledgeable about the products she carries and will certainly, without hesitation help you find what you need or order what you want. Regardless, the store is well stocked with top quality pet food, much of it made in America, and you even get a 5% discount when you buy 12 or more cans!
Pets are always welcome, and my dogs know that when we go to visit Aunt Jenny, there is certainly a sample of a new treat to be had!
The staff is helpful just enough to not be overbearing yet ready to assist. If they are out of what you need, they can have it back in within a day. My favorite brands are always well stocked and the variety keeps my pets from getting bored at feeding time. I appreciate the large selection of grain free varieties. Also, many of the pet treats smell so delicious, you want to eat them yourself. They are in fact, made of human grade ingredients!
Out of the three pet food supply stores near my house, two of which are in walking distance, this one is slightly further away, but I will always shop here. The quality and selection of products makes them number one, hands down!

Love this shop. I’m surprised by the review that said staff isn’t welcoming. I’ve been coming here for months and had excellent service. Jenny has been fantastic with giving me samples and advice to help with my cats tummy/​bowel issues. She also has helped me research and order special food for my dog. My dog loves to come in and get treats and possibly meet other poochies! This store has also worked with the other pet themed businesses in the same strip to do great charitable work for local shelters. Great family run store with a heart!

The staff is always friendly when I visit. My senior dog needs small kibble and refuses to eat food from the supermarket so i always make a stop here to get his food and treats whenever I’m visiting the area. He doesn’t have many teeth left and he’s super spoiled so I only want to give him the best for his senior years and keep him healthy for as long as possible. Those greenies bones are just soft enough for his few remaining teeth and he gobbles them up in one sitting. The Earthborn small breed bites and Fromm Surf n Turf are his favorite kibble. I can always count on them having a bag in stock. Thanks Nature’s Pet!
