You’ve Got Maids

Showed up 2 hours late, misquoted the price twice, did a shitty job cleaning (didn’t even touch the kitchen sink) also left after being there for 50 minutes, and charged my wife’s card before they arrived. When she questioned them one guy was nice and agreed to come back the other was a dick and demanded to charge more. If you don’t like to clean then go do something else. Even if they were good $ 100 or even $ 120 for an hours worth of shitty cleaning is ridiculous. The other little trick is my wife was told he scheduled 2 people for the job and 3 showed up which was another scam to try and charge more.

I called for same day service and two maids showed up in about an hour and a half which was great. My experience was great. They cleaned the hell out of my kitchen, bedroom, living room, hallways and bathrooms. Fernando was great to work with, the maids were professional and thorough. The only slight drawback was price — I came across their ad on Craigslist advertising 80.00 for 2 hours — and the piece I was quoted on the phone was not the same. Other than that I was very satisfied and would use them again.

Avoid these scammers. They are currently trying to steal 360 bucks from my family. We cancelled two days before an appointment, which holds no penalty according to their webpage:
– Says: «2. Cancellation/​Skipping Service — We understand life happens! If you need to skip service or cancel a scheduled cleaning appointment, simply call the office or email us one business day before your appointment. This will allow us time to adjust our schedule for that day. Less than one business day notice will result in a fee in the amount of the cleaning.»
After we cancelled without penalty, they kept a hold on our money. This escaped our attention, until all of a sudden, this company contacts my wife by text message a week later, saying: «We’re coming to clean TOMORROW. Hope this is okay; if not you forfeit your MONEY!!!»
So They MADE UP A SECOND DATE TO CLEAN AFTER WE HAD CANCELLED. #Scammers #Lowball
Of course we are disputing this robbery with our bank, but BEWARE these guys. They have tried to steal 360 bucks from us; imagine what they could get if in your house!!! –BW

They charge us $ 245.00 and they did a horrible job.. I don’t recommend them to anyone. They said they would come back and do a better job but they never showed up. They sure took advantage of the senior citizen

Their cleaners really did a terrible job. I bought 5 hours of maid service for $ 159. 3 people came so I was expecting maid service for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Two people spent an hour in the kitchen and later I discovered they didn’t vacuum under the dining table or clean the fridge, the counter tops were left dusty and floor was dirty. The shower and the toilet were still dirty in the bathrooms. After 1 hour they were ready to leave and I had to keep looking and pointing out dirty items. The rooms weren’t fully dusted and they didn’t vacuum under tables or in corners or under any small rugs. They mopped so lightly, no spots were cleaned. I went over the areas they mopped with a wet rag and it came up very dirty. The owner was not understanding when I contacted him, he suggested they come out again for an additional fee.

Everyone has been kind and respectful. They took my feedback and did an excellent job. They are pleasant to me and my kids. They do not gossip or bring any personal drama to work. Everyone seems happy to be working. I am happy to have them in my home. Best of all they got every detailed in my home…

First time they were an hour late. Second time they didn’t even show up. The cleaners were great but the company is unreliable. Won’t be using them again.

Individual did not arrive with power cords for the vacuum cleaner or mops — so floors were not addressed. Used our cleaning agents at times. Asserted the apartment was amongst the cleanest she has cleaned, however only finished 50% of the 950sq ft apartment in 2 hours. The latter is possibly excusable if she had not made intermittent cell phone calls to get basketball scores. Service rendered is not deserving of the one star given.

Wow what can I say but I had to clean my house after they left. I don’t even want to give one star. Way over priced. They claim to offer a service which is 2^nd to none which is the understatement of the year. They cleaned both my moms house and mine I did tell them my mom’s house was going to be a bigger job than mine. Well I went through and the floors where still dirty, they left cleaner residue behind in all sinks. Not one cob web was removed from the ceiling and I had to finish dusting as they don’t move anything when they dust. It just wasn’t the 52 point clean that they advertise on the website. At my house which I had added on unsuspectingly, (it was my b-​day and my mom said she would pay if they could go to my place after) was all surfaced cleaned as this was a Monday and I had just cleaned Sat. but I was hoping for the detail clean they refer to on the website, ceiling fans and blinds, baseboards and such. Well first, they permanently scratched my porcelain on my toilet which was clean as I just had done it, I have no idea what they used to clean it but yep it’s ruined. they merely swiped the ceiling fans leaving a few clumps of dust behind on tables and carpet. They also left residue of cleaner behind in all sinks and didn’t touch one baseboard not to mention hardly dusted at all. I took pictures contacted management and got nothing back but unprofessional e-​mails and never attempted to try and make things right. I did let him know that the cleaners where prompt on time and were very friendly but their cleaning skills are not something I would have ever paid for. I was hoping for them to attempt to come back out and clean or try and see what they could do about my toilet, I guess the customer is not right and does not get to be satisfied as they claim with the job. Oh but they do keep sending me emails letting me know when they have cleaning openings. I don’t know how this company stays in business or how they get a repeat client. I paid way too much to very unskilled workers.

Hire these thieves at your own risk! They are crooks and liars.
Bought a house cleaning on a deal, and they no showed twice («family emergency», and then a «scheduling mix-​up») Then they blamed me for not using the deal before the expiration when it was THEIR fault!
They kept saying they’d refund my money. LIES! LIES! LIES! They were unhappy with the deal they made, so they have just screwed the people who bought them. They never intended to refund my money, just kept lying saying the checks in the mail, the check must have gotten lost in the mail, we’ll refund it on paypal, and of course, never did. Then they blocked my calls.
I have spoken to both brothers over and over. A severe waste of my time. Well, keep laughing, you tools. I will exact my revenge by letting everyone know that you lie, cheat and steal from people.
If they are dishonest at the top level, I’m sure you can really trust their employees.
So if you have a bad experience, it’s your own fault, because you have been warned.

WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The maids came in and stole clothing, a comforter under my bed and a planter. When I contacted the owner the day after this happened, I was told he would call me back. However, I never got a returned call and after repeated calls to the owner, they basically said I was out of luck. These people will steal from you, be very careful!

I left the maids to clean my house while I went out, like they said to do. When I came back they were finished, according to them. The floors were still dirty, the windows were not washed, the counters still have coffee on them. I don’t know what they did while they were there. Beware of this company.

I have hired You’ve Got Maids since my last residence in 2012 and when I moved, they helped me cleaned my old place and I got 100% my deposit back. I recently just moved to a newer, bigger place and rehired them again to do some regular cleaning as I am a super busy person that runs two separate businesses.
They are run by two brothers Fernando and Caesar — Fernando being the smooth talking brother and Caesar the guy who can clean and fix anything in your house!
I even got Caesar to install and wire speakers into the patio and garden and he fixed my wobbly old coffee table.
Sometimes they come with helpers like who can be either a man and a woman — it doesn’t matter as they do a good job each time. They have helped me kept a balance in my life, and I gave them a list of stuff to do and they know how to go about it and get things done. They have initiative and know how to ask questions when they don’t know something.
I have personally tried three different cleaning companies, one no showed me, second one left my floors smelling like dirty toilet detergent and third one was defensive and had 10,000 excuses for everything. My fourth was YOU’VE GOT MAIDS and I have stuck with them since. I am happy and definitely recommend their services.

These guys are great. I use them to clean my Airbnb rental and they always show up on time and are always available on short notice, which is really helpful for me as I’m frequently traveling. They’re quick, efficient, and make the place look totally presentable for the next guests. I highly recommend them!

Cesar and Araceli arrived 15 early for their appointment. I love that they come out on weekends. After doing a quick assessment, they went straight to work, and worked quickly and vigorously the entire time. Overall, they did a Great job… on the big things. Araceli worked Magic on the bathrooms and Cesar did an amazing job on the stove and oven. I didn’t like was that they missed a lot of little things though like: cleaning under my bed, dusting the top of the mirror, the corners of the kitchen floor, behind the trash can, and the shutters in the bathroom and kitchen. I just feel that when you clean a room, you should clean the Entire room, including the walls.

These guys, led by Fernando, are totally professional, totally competent, and totally nice. My wife is picky and they listened to our previous disasters with other maid services we found on-​line. Our place was filthy so we asked just for the bathrooms, kitchen, and all the floors in two hours. They brought three people, one dedicated to kitchen alone. They did a SUPERB job all around. My wife often likes to chat with these folks but THEY politely asked to get back to work so they can be finished in the allotted time. Fernando was easy to deal with, easily understood our needs, and was accommodating with schedule changes. I HIGHLY recommend You Got Maids based in Sherman Oaks. (It’s a national franchise, so I can’t speak for other local branches.)
