What an oustsanding service! I visited the place a couple of weeks ago and had the pleasure of meeting the owner — Lynda.
Lynda went through all the details I needed to get my Vespa, you can see how much she loves dealing with customers. I am moving to Santa Monica in a week and I already started the paperwork in order to get a beautiful Vespa Primavera. Thanks again Lynda for your patience and kindness, no wonder people rave about Vespa Sherman Oaks.

It’s no wonder they are the Number 1 Vespa dealer in the US. I bought my 300 GTS there and couldn’t be happier and when I came for my first service I even got a hug! The most awesome place to pretty much purchase anything and what’s more awesome to purchase than a Vespa? You can combine this awesomeness by going there right now. You won’t regret it.

If you own a Vespa then you will understand how I came to write the review I’m writing. Owning a Vespa is not just riding any old scooter. Owning a Vespa is a way of life, it’s a lifestyle, it embodies how you live your life day to day. I cannot tell the many ways it has improved the quality of mine. The peace of mind to know that when you go out to your garage and you want to get somewhere, that Vespa is going to make that journey a blast! Traffic? Nope, stress about getting somewhere in time? None. Hoping that it’s going to start up and not cause you any problems? No way. I have been riding a Vespa for 42 years, and I still get excited whenever I get on it and take off. Sherman Oaks Vespa has been there for me each and every day I ride mine. They care about your Vespa, they always accommodate me. Not once have they said, sorry but we can’t help you right now. But the real reason I’m writing this review is because I have had 12 different Vespas in my life, and this family run business is by far the BEST place if have a ever taken any of them to. The service techs are super knowledgeable, and they take pride in their work. I reside on the west side, and I have no problem going to them for anything I need done because I know that they will take care of it on the spot. Please give them a chance to help you the way they help me time and time again! Thank you Sherman Oaks Vespa, you guys are the best!!!

I drive my ET2 Vespa all over LA and I’ve come in here about 7x in the last 3 years to get fixed and tune ups, at a very reasonable price and with very efficient quality service! This place is seriously such a slam dunk when it comes to customer service, great quality tune ups and any level of maintenance or repair on your Vespa! The owner knows Vespa like nobody’s business, he is passionate about his work, and he’s constantly trying to go above and beyond for his customers. If u come in even once or twice, he remembers who you are, most likely can recollect your name and your basic life story, haha! This is a true ma and pa shop with all the pizaz of the 21^st century. If they don’t have something in stock, they’ll go above and beyond to get it for you ASAP. Honest, helpful, communicative, efficient, quality, etc… Everything you could ask for! I have NOTHING bad to say about this shop and if anyone ever does, they most likely walked in here asking for something way beyond reason and were just miserable already and looking for something to nitpick. It doesn’t get any better than this!

They have a nice selection of bikes and take the time to connect with their clients on a different level than most shops. They have great customer service and being a family owned business, they care about the customers.

If you want excellent buying experience… This is the place to go! This family owned motorcycle business is the best. Went to see the Dorsoduro 750 and walked out with it! Couldn’t turn down a great deal! I gotta say they have the lowest price I’ve seen and trust me, I shopped around. Lastly, transaction went smoothly and super fast! I’m glad I found this place. I recommend this place.

These are the best people I’ve ever encountered. They make purchasing a motorcycle effortless and enjoyable. It’s a great family run store with insightful employees who are quick to help and answer any questions. It’s no wonder I have now purchase 2 motorcycles 2 helmets and more accessories from them. I’ve bought cars and bikes all over the greater Los Angeles area and no experience came close to matching the continuously positive ones I have at Vespa Sherman Oaks.

It is not even worth mentioning how bad some other shops are. After years of experience, both personal and vicarious, I made the mistake of bringing my GS250 somewhere else, nearer to where it broke down.
Lesson learned: No matter what the cost of the tow, one MUST bring it «over the hill» to this crew. If you blindfolded these guys and handed them a Vespa part I really believe they could ID it by touch and do a better job repairing it blindfolded than some of their competition.
I’ve occasionally been tempted to write a Unilocal review after a bad experience but preferred to move on. Never dreamed my first Unilocal review would be caused by surplus satisfaction.

These guys know customer service. I live in Glendale, so I’m next door to Pro Italia — but I ride out here for service on my Moto Guzzi V7, because they treat me like family. No — better than family.
Yesterday, I stopped in for a new tire, and while I was waiting I asked if they had a towel I could wipe my helmet with. «Let me see», he says, taking the helmet. He then proceeded to clean the whole thing inside and out for me.
I got my new tire, and without asking he lubed and adjusted my kickstand and cleaned the bike as well. I’ve been here a couple of times, and every time I ride away, my bike feels better than the day I bought it.
I’ll be back again and again.

Highly trust these guys. I own a 750cc motorcycle and needed a new battery. Dealer quoted me $ 230 + labor to install. Vespa Sherman Oaks sold me a brand-​new battery for about $ 100 and it arrived in two days for me to (very easily) install myself.
These guys epitomize ethics and truly care about customer service and retention. Anytime I need parts now, I’m skipping the motorcycle dealer and checking here first.

Had a Vespa that I thought I may have ran without oil. Took it in to Sherman oaks Vespa and told them the situation. Also mentioned that if it was beyond repair, they could have my scooter for parts. Well a week after I dropped it off, they called me back and said that not only did they get it to start again, but they discovered it was due to a bad fan that they could replace for very little.
This place operates with ethics and a customer first mentality.
This is my 4^th time bringing my bike to their shop (regular oil changes). The best in my opinion.

Went in just to look at different models. 4 hours later a brand new Vespa Primavera was delivered to our front door! Lynda (owner) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She addressed all our questions/​concerns and made the financing part pain free and a breeze! They even switched out the seat color (gray to tan), installed the back rack, gave us a referral for affordable insurance (USAA doesn’t cover scooters/​motorcycles) and helped us pick out helmets. These are honest and caring people who will be there to stand behind their product and build a relationship with their customers. Couldn’t be happier with our purchase!!!

There are a few things a business should be to be a 5 star rating in my book. All businesses sell goods or services, for a profit. If the profit is reasonable, fits the industry standard? …well then what sticks out above the rest is the experience for the customer. I’ve been In here now for a few things from simple parts, to walking out with a new ride. Every time I’ve been here and for what ever reason; I’ve been attended to with focus and respect. Very knowledgeable tech as well. I’ve heard of people that play instruments by ear. The tech here can diagnose issues by ear! haha. At least that was my case.

This owner of this shop is one of the biggest jerks I’ve ever witnessed. I came in to ask about a helmet and instead witnessed him getting into a really heated argument with two people. The best part — he started out all grinning and ready to sell a scooter, but upon hearing their complaints /​concerns he and his wife turned on a dime and started hurtling insults, stonewalling… ugh it was just the worst. Don’t buy into all of the five-​star reviews here and pay attention to what happens if you manage to get on this guy’s bad side. Others have experienced what I have and no amount of character assassination on this owner’s part will change these facts.

This place is awesome! I checked from to and fro for a battery for my piaggio bv 500. No one had it. This one did and their customer sevice was top notch!
I got helped by David and Kyle. They even did me a favor and checked my brakes and oil and everything. Such a great experience, man.
I will definitely be back if I need anything.

I have been coming here since I purchased my Vespa (used) a few years ago. I ride a 2001 light green ET4. She is a beauty, in my eyes. She and I have been through a lot together, and no matter what, every time I bring my Vespa into Vespa Sherman Oaks for servicing, I always leave feeling like a VIP! And my Vespa, although she has a few noticeable blemishes and scars, she always somehow looks sparkly and shining when we leave.
Even if I come in for something quite simple to be looked at, they take the time (EVERY TIME) to go above and beyond, which is sadly not something we find too often these days with businesses and companies in general (whether corporate or privately owned). So, it feels amazing to get such great personalized treatment even when I myself may not be coming in to bring them a lot of money, just for a simple tuneup for instance.
From the first day I set foot in this location, I was treated like a friend. It was magical, and I knew instantaneously this was a place I could trust with my bike. And so I have continued coming here for my servicing and tuneups, no matter what. I am very very grateful and lucky to have such a great place just down the street to reliably take care of this my only mode of transportation. I REALLY don’t know what I would do without the owners Linda and David and actually the WHOLE team, even the guys who work in the back who I may not even have met, I walk out of there each and every time and see the silent care that they put into taking care of my baby!
Well, I could go on forever, because there are truly not enough good things I could say, but, I think you get the point!
