Great service very quick and very efficient. Start to finish attentive and professional. I highly recommend it if ones needs custom shirts and suits.

My husband has been coming to Rockys for years why go to a department store to buy suite or a shirt that still needs to have work done to it to fit right! Rockys is the place to go Andy always takes care of us, my husband got his wedding suite at Rockys and he looked amazing everything fit perfectly! I have recommended Rockys to many of my friends and family and all were very happy with service and quality!

I wanted to wait until I spent a little time with my suits… Overall for the money spent, I’m pleased with my suits. Rocky and his team did everything, within their control, to provide me with excellent customer service and the best product they could supply for the money spent. Every time I wear one of rocky’s suits, it never fails, I receive several complements.
Rocky and his team worked closely with me in the final fitting… We had to perform several small tweaks to achieve the desired fit.
In my opinion, I don’t think you can do better as far as quality, style and pricing are concerned.
However, I would hope that Rocky eventually move away from their current price structure… Rather than bundling, I recommend that they simply provide customers with the straight pricing.

I now have a total of 8 custom made suits and they by far are the best suits in my closet. Back in 2009 I purchase my first suits. Rocky responded to my email immediately when I asked a question. I came in bought 3 suits, Rocky came out and connected with me and threw in a shirt in my package. I have now bought 5 more and love the detail. Picked up 3 suits on august 29, 2014 and cannot wait to wear them. My only regrets is that I have not reconnected with Rocky since my first visit to share my positive feedback.

My boyfriend has been getting his clothing tailored by Rocky’s for over 8 years now. To this day, they still deliver with full satisfaction and never let us down.
His bespoke suits and custom dress shirts always look amazing on him! They have such wide selections of fabrics and styles.
The store also has cuff links, ties, shoes, and more accessories for sale.
Recently though, my boyfriend surprised me with a suit for myself! This is a first!
Supna was the one that helped me. I was fitted for a 3 piece suit — jacket skirt and slacks. as well as 2 dress shirts. She did a fantastic job explaining everything and going slowly on each step since it was my first visit ever.
I was definitely overwhelmed and maybe even had a nervous break down because there was just so many options to choose from!!!
My arrival came a little over 3 weeks later. When I tried it on, I’ll admit I was sad because the shirts fit so large and loose, my skirt was loose and my jacket sleeves were a little long. BUT Supna did warn me ahead of time that, since females have so many curves, its a lot more detailed and challenging to get the exact size on the first try. I was nervous because I needed the outfits for a business meeting in less than 2 weeks. She assured me that It will be ready within days. PHEW!
So we set an appointment and showed up 2 days later. She explained to me that, its much easier to take-​in fabric, than it is to let out. therefore, they make it a little bigger on purpose. Makes sense! She pinned everything accordingly, I told her I like my shirts a little more fitted than the usual. She also pinned my shirt and to my surprise… she did something I didnt really put much thought into. I told her i didnt really like the way my skirt came out because it looked flared out on the sides, versus what I usually like of my skirts which is tucked in to hug my thighs. She said not a problem and pinned that also! YAY.
My jacket was perfect fit, other than the sleeves were a little long.
Over all, I had a great experience. my clothes should be ready tomorrow. And Im stoked! :) I cant wait to get more!!!

Happy with everything I had made, great fit. Since I had them now for some time, I’m not sure how well the material will hold up. Not thrilled with the large «Rocky’s» tag they sewed in either.

I was tempted by their prices relative to other bespoke custom suit makers (mostly in Downtown Los Angeles) who charge slightly more. As they say «you get what you pay for!» As a business professional in a conservative profession, my suits are my stock in trade and I like them to hang nicely from my frame (which is a traditional regular frame). While everyone was pleasant to work with and knowledgeable, the three suits that they delivered (super 130s) were far (and I mean far) less superior than a $ 350 – 500 suit off the rack and certainly far less superior than a custom suit made in the USA (Rocky ships his measurements to China). While I went thru multiple fittings to fix the issue they still never delivered the quality one expects from a custom suit. In fairness to them they do seem to have a number of satisfied customers so three stars

I ended up getting my tux with another suit from Rocky’s & was thoroughly impressed. I’d suggest getting a custom tux for your big day — it’s definitely worth it. I don’t fit in standard off the rack suits or even a tux for that matter. I have a broad back and chest — anything off the rack that will fit my chest /​back will have excessive room in the mid section that I could probably hide a basketball underneath.
Rocky’s associates are all informative when suggesting fabrics, cuts, & styles. When you decide to go with a bespoke suit, an associate will discuss your budget & from there fabrics with styles will be reviewed. The last step would be to get your measurements. One thing to keep in mind is that the fabric will play a big part in the overall cost of your suit or tux. Once your measurements are recorded, Rocky’s will keep them on file for future purchases.
All of the suits are cut & sewn off shore — Hong Kong to be exact. Some of you may think that quality would be a concern but rest assured some of the best tailors are in HK — some even having trained /​worked on Saville Row. I have yet to see any issues on my suits that would put quality in question. When the suit arrives, a final fitting will take place for any adjustments. Both times my suits fit spot on with no additional alterations needed. I’d definitely suggest bringing the dress shoes you plan to wear with the suit. Also, definitely pick up some custom dress shirts if you can — there’s a wide selection of fabrics & colors to choose from. I also got custom shirts with the option to wear cuff links or use the sleeve end buttons.
As a side note, when looking for a suit, there are three categories to keep in mind:
Custom (aka Bespoke): these are suits that are measured by a tailor, fabric cut by hand, and hand sewn. These are truly made to your own measurements and cost the most.
Semi-​Custom (aka «made to measure»): suits measured by a tailor, fabric is usually pre-​cut based on templates, and may or may not be hand sewn. These suits still fit relatively well but without the additional cost of bespoke.
Off the Rack (aka off the peg): suits not measured by a tailor, fabric pre-​cut according to templates, and usually machine sewn. These are fine provided you fit into the ideal size with no significant variations. These suits are typically the cheapest & fit most guys. If I’m planning on wearing a suit to a special occasion (i.e. my wedding day) I’ll spend the decent coin on bespoke.
Break: this is where the slacks touch the top of your shoes. A high break (aka high waters) tends to work well with slim fitting suits. A medium break is typical and there will be a slight crease on the front of your slacks as it drapes over your shoes (about an inch crease is suitable). A low break is pretty sloppy in my opinion with excessive fabric draping over your shoes. The associates will talk to you about your preferences with respect to slack fit and recommend the appropriate style — both of my slacks have medium breaks.
I could write more on what to look for in a tie (quality wise) but will leave the review as is for suits. And last but not least — nice touches to complement your suit is to get a tie bar, cuff links, & a nice pocket square.
Gents, you’ve been informed. Once you go bespoke, there’s no turning back.
If your budget permits it, I’d definitely recommend getting a suit made at Rocky’s!

I apologize in advance for giving such a low rating but I have to be honest with everyone here about my experience as accurately as possible.
Let me begin by saying that the staff here is professional and curtious. They have a Very large selection of fabrics for suits and shirts and My suit arrived In a timely fashion. Unfortunately thats where the experience for me ceased to be a good one.
Upon my suits arrival the «Custom Suit» did not fit properly at all. Ive purchased suits off the rack that fit way better. The whole reason I came here was to get the perfect fit so I didnt have to deal with Off the rack suits. Its common yes that some slight alterations would still need to be made upon receiving a custom suit which I completely understand and am Totally ok with, but The things that needed to be altered were all pretty serious alterations. Those alterations were made and when the suit came back it had to be sent back again to fix a a couple other problems which were supposed to be fixed durring the first alteration.
To be completely honest it still doesnt fit the way I had hoped a custom suit would fit, nor do i believe the suit was made with the craftmanship you would expect spending $ 900 on a suit. The experience was further complicated when I noticed some of the linings on my suit read Super 110’s (Which is the level of fabric used) I off course paid for Super 200’s fabric. They informed me that this wasnt accurate and that my suit was indeed made from Super 200’s fabric. I have no reason NOT to believe him. However it doesnt make much sense either way.
I really hate to leave a review thats less than 4 – 5 stars but if you are considering spending this kind of money on a suit you should be aware before You do.
I can say that I will not come to Rockys in the future as i have found a custom suit maker elsewhere Locally that meets my needs.

Rocky Called me after hearing of my review and had me come in so they could explain everything. In the end there were a few misunderstandings but Rocky made it right. I went back to give them another try and Im glad I did. Its pretty clear my experience was an anomaly to their otherwise really good service.

In 1998 my then boss introduced me to Rocky on one of his many visits to NY. I chose the 10 shirt option to stick my toe in the water.
14 years later I am still a highly and happily satisfied customer. From hand made shirts to custom fitted suits their work is the finest.
I have jackets made in 2000 that look brand new and shirts made in 2006 that still wear fabulous.

My husband got a new job and needed to wear suits daily so he found this place online and wanted to have the custom suit experience. We made an appointment for a fitting for a 4 suit package deal.
When we first showed up they asked if we could come back later. My husband said no, we’d made an appointment, driven there from Hollywood, we wanted to do it at the time we’d set aside.
They fairly quickly got to us, set us up with books of fabric swatches and talked us through every detail of selecting suits based on fabric, weight, color combos, etc. It was a fun experience and my husband enjoyed getting to tailor his suits and shirts to his exact desires.
They offered us water and treated us pretty well. There were plenty of employees and they all made themselves available to help.
My husband had also found a vintage suit he loved in another store and asked them to take in the lapels (they were pretty wide) and replace the buttons. I brought in a skirt I’d just bought and asked them to put a vent in the back. Pretty simple alterations.
The suits arrived and we went to try them on so they could be altered to fit exactly right. This was on a Friday. We were told they’d be ready to pick up on Tuesday.
I called on Tuesday to make sure they were ready before going all the way to Sherman Oaks and was put on hold, asked a lot of questions, they didn’t seem to have any idea who I was. Finally I was told they were not in and would be ready Wednesday. I was assured I didn’t have to call, just come on in.
Wednesday I called (I’m not stupid) and was told the suits were not ready. I asked when they would be ready and was told it would be Thursday.
Thursday I called and was told they were not ready. Now I was a little peeved. Every day I had to call and be told that the suits were not ready. How hard is it to give someone an accurate estimate of how long it takes to do alterations? I didn’t care how long it was taking, I cared that they were wasting my time every day and if I’d done as they suggested on Tuesday, I’d have wasted more time and a lot of gas going there on Wednesday.
The man I spoke to on the phone got rude with me and suggested that I was an idiot to keep calling in the first place. Why would I not call to confirm that the suits were ready on the date I was told they would be ready? He was very unpleasant and I was not happy.
Finally the suits were ready the next week. I went to pick them up and got a bill for the tailoring on the vintage suit and my skirt (remember: take in lapels and switch out buttons and put a vent in my skirt): $ 200. $ 200! It was completely ridiculous and a gross rip off. And they hadn’t even replaced the buttons on the suit.
So I give the business 3 stars because the suits my husband got do look good, we did have a fun time with the custom suit experience but then there was some very rude and crappy customer service and some wholesale ripping off of customers who’d just dropped several thousand dollars on new suits in their shop.

This place was recommended by my friend, and I must say once you wear a custom suit, you will never go back to buying from a rack. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. The selection of fabric, color, and styles for a suit is mind boggling. But with the help of the staff, they will narrow things down and make recommendations based on your body style.
I will no longer be buying suits off a rack.

So hard to find a good custom tailor in L.A.; Rocky’s very reasonable prices and I had no issues with my shirts, 15x shirts later still a repeat customer.
If you want to look like a rock star come here and get suited! Don’t be cheap it pays to look good !

Being tall and skinny it is difficult to find nice fitting dress shirts. SO a few months ago I decided to try out a few custom shirts. After researching all the places in LA it seemed as though Rockys had great prices as well as reviews from others.
So I went in about a month ago and ordered my first batch of 3 custom shirts. Cost me about $ 80 a shirt all in (I choose all cotton, but they have cheaper cotton/​poly options), but what I really liked was the upfront pricing (the price included monogram, as well as countless other possible options all included in the price) .
C.K. helped me design my shirts and took my measurements, as he sure did a great job! This shirts look and fit great! Went in a few weeks ago and picked them up, and have already had to go back and order more! I dont think there will be going back to the department store ever again, and may of my friends/​coworkers have noticed the shirts and will soon be headed in to see C.K. and get some for themselves.
All I can say is why would anyone go to Nordstroms or any store like that and buy shirts when you could go to Rockys and get impecable service, and a better quality shirt that is custom fit for the same money?

By far my favorite place to get a custom suit! Friendly service w/​o the sales pressure. Absolutely would buy from again. I recommend this to all the men that need to look good for that special occasion. A+ Im a very happy customer.

Great experience. I got an awesome tuxedo and shirt that fit perfectly and ended up paying the same as if I had bought a nice tux off the rack. I will be going back for all my dress clothes from now on. Definitely the way to go!

Fantastic job people!

12 years ago, I first discovered Rocky and his clothing business. Back at that time, I first discovered an expert at his craft, when I created a website for him in 1997.
He’s a gentleman and a true professional. I wanted to experience his work myself, I went and met with 1 of his assistants in Seattle. They took over 22 measurements, asked me exactly how I liked my clothes to wear.
I love their clothing, and it’s great to custom design your clothes with designers that know how to make it perfect.
Can’t wait to get a cashmere suit, and plan on it the first of the year.
Max told me that a company in Texas takes measurements, faxes orders to them and then this Texas company DOUBLES the price that Rocky’s Charges.
You really can’t beat the quality and worksmanship that goes into custom made clothing.
You will like what they make for you.

In my last review I alluded that there are very few things that can interfere with a person’s ability to Unilocal. In addition to buying a home, I think planning a wedding should also qualify.
I know, I know, one wouldn’t think it would be so time consuming but trust me gentleman IT IS. I mean think about it, how do you avoid looking like a total Neanderthal when you’re standing next to a hot woman who’s glowing from the inside out? The answer is to ditch the tux rental and go full-​bore custom Tuxedo.
Fortunately, working around people in the entertainment industry you come around lots of people with disposable cash whose job is to ‘look the part.’ I’ve met a few people who are repeat customers at Rocky’s. Though I personally never purchased anything from Rocky’s I was very familiar with their work. His suits are top notch, real deal. Making you look good is what they do.
Now guys, don’t get scurred… you don’t need to know anything to come out looking sharp. If you have an IDEA of what you want they can make it happen. If you’re like myself and know exactly what you want they’ll make you look like a genius.
When I first went to talk with Max I told him I was going all out. I wanted my suit to make Super 100’s fabric look like combed cotton. I didn’t want to go silk, but I wanted to be oh so fresh and so clean. Max took it over from there and guided me through every single fabric option that fit my parameters. Whenever I got that deer in the headlights look he took the wheel and assured me what would work best. Max is no joke, he knows his stuff.
True, this was the single most expensive suit I had ever purchased, but it was for the single most important occasion of my meager existence. Besides the Love Of My Life has always thought of me as a snazzy dresser how could I disappoint my dear L.o.m.l. on our wedding day?
Yes there is one hidden danger. Once you’ve gone custom is there any going back? That remains to be seen. When you put on a suit that’s been cut to your EXACT specifications it’s almost like walking around naked. It’s a fit that off the rack just can’t match. Remember, custom clothes aren’t out of reach if you’re smart about your fabrics. And if you have a budget let them know and they can likely work within it.
One things for certain, when you put on a suit from Rocky’s you’re going to like the way you look… I guarantee it!
