I had the most wonderful experience with these contractors, starting with their project manager, Tom. He was there every day to oversee my patio re-​roofed, my dens beamed ceiling redone, several electrical problems fixed… these guys do everything! My project was done on time, meticulously left clean and most importantly done to my satisfaction.

Terrible customer service! I’m so happy I read the other reviews and trusted my instinct about this company.
I called to schedule an estimate and they got me on the books the very next day «between 5 – 6 pm». My husband and I both left work early so we could meet up with the associate who was supposed to give us an estimate. At 5:32 pm, we received a call saying «he has to work a few more hours on a project and can’t come out tonight», I said «are you sure he can’t still stop in? It shouldn’t take long and it’s the end of the work day and we both raced home from across town to be here for this», to which I was told «hold on, let me check” — literally five seconds passed and I hear «nope, he can’t do it, we will come out on the weekend».
We weren’t available over the weekend, so we scheduled the estimate for after work today. Sure enough I get a call saying «he can’t come today, he has the flu, we’ll look at Thursday or Friday»…
No thank you. Third time is not the charm.
I’m chuckling to myself now looking at their flyer that was left on my porch –all their coupons and discounts and guarantees. Clearly a sham, or a desperate plea for business…
«We start and finish your job on time. Guaranteed» — really? You couldn’t even show up to an estimate. Twice.
«No obligation. Call for a FREE estimate.» — clearly they aren’t obligated to anything (specifically any appointments they set up), and I’m not obligated to set up a third attempt at having them provide an estimate… As for the estimate being free… I’d love to be able to back charge them for the time that I wasted waiting for them and away from work.
No thank you. Good luck you lousy excuse for a company.

Extremely disappointed with their customer service. They called to re-​schedule a Saturday appointment which is fine, scheduling issues happened. They then proceeded to call me on three different occasions to confirm my appointment for the next day. The last occasion they called me SEVEN times on a Sunday morning at 7am to confirm my appointment AGAIN. I showed my displeasure with the customer service rep and he said «I am sorry you are upset but I am going to have to cancel your appointment». Unbelievable. Maybe the builders do a good job but I couldn’t even get to that part.

If I could give them a negative star for customer service and professionalism I would! From day one of construction it was horrendous! For starters the construction worker and the salesperson Isaac almost got into a fist fight which my husband literally had to get in-​between them to stop… not only did they do this in front of my house they moved it into my kitchen! The construction worker had asked if he could smoke, we said yes, which he did outside by his car… Isaac arrived and slapped the cigarette out of his hand, telling him he was going to be fired and salary deducted. Isaac claimed that the worker threw his cigarette in the grass area, which I do not believe! We were so close to calling the police! The construction worker left, only for Ron and Issac start arguing loudly in front of my house whereas the neighbors came out, I was truly embarrassed! Isaac said he couldn’t smoke but then I mention that he (is sac) could and his response was that he was «only the employee and I am the boss!) I was very unhappy on how he treated his employees… and that is just the beginning.
Almost everything we had to buy and were told to give him the receipt and that it would be reimbursed, luckily for us we had a remaining balance and I told Ron that I would deduct from the balance, I know he wasn’t happy about that. Ron insisted on the lower end products which I had to explain that wasn’t what I was told by Isaac, that everything would be high quality. After reading other reviews on how long it taking to receive their reimbursement from Profession Builders, I am now glad I had a balance due, which balanced to my deductions/​receipts. It doesn’t end there!
Please read this part, this is where it get even gets uglier!
As a customer, I think we have a right to call if something (product) is not to our satisfaction. We were promise an exhaust fan in out bathroom. The Electrician came in and installed it… the light remain on, would not turn off at all, the construction workers remove it in the mean time. Called Ron and told him that the light was still not working once it was put back on… Ron response was to unplug it as the electrician showed my husband, which was a quick fix until the electrician comes back… As we were coming back from Lowe’s we see the 2^nd electrician walking out of our house and quickly tells us that it’s fixed… It’s not! I called Ron again… 3^rd Electrician comes and says it’s fixed and it’s on a timer and leaves… No timer, the light will not shut off… (if this going back and forth with the repairs isn’t bad enough, there is more)
I finally call Ron and here is where it gets even worst! I start to text Ron on a Saturday to explain to him that the light will not turn off and he texts me back that my husband needs to turn off the switch as the electrician showed him, this is not what I paid for and I believe the unit is defective… we went back and forth via text. I finally texted him to «please answer his phone» after some time he decided to call, telling me he doesn’t work on Saturdays, (but yet had no problem calling me while I was at work) and that I was treating him as if «I was his wife» insulting needless to say! I did not appreciate his sexist remarks and that I was truly considering doing my second bathroom, but now rethinking. He tells me even I were to pay him $ 100,000 he would not touch my bathroom. We went back and forth finally I told him the finance company we used (which he recommended) called asking how I liked my service, told him I was ready to call them back… hung up!
After sometime he called back and said he prayed and meditate and was calling to apologize… I don’t believe him! I just believe he was afraid I’d call the finance company. On Tuesday, (did not call Ron was waiting to see if he’d call me back, never did, the electrician just showed up without warning) the 4^th electrician came and finally fixed it, (all the electricians were subcontracts, not one was the same). The fourth electrician wanted me to write on a yellow tablet that i agreed the exhaust fan was working, told him no since I was told numerous times that it was working, will wait a day to do so) since then I have not heard a word from them!
I write this as a warning to other and to help one person to NOT go through this, I highly recommend you find another builder, have never ever been this mistreated!

We recently had our home driveway and sidewalks redone which was spearheaded by Tom who worked with Ron who were able to get us financed without any problem. The work was completed in less time than projected and the outcome was remarkable. We are very happy with the professional service Tom and subcontractors provided. Tom was always available for questions and always returned my calls. The subcontractors used were also very professional, clean, punctual and courteous. We are very pleased with the outcome and will consider using them again when opportunity arises. Thank you Tom and Ron for overseeing a job well done!

I got a flyer on my door, and my parents home was long over due for some home remodel.
So I said what the heck, why not call these guys. They had a very nice looking flyer with all the black and yellow and they had some specials going on at the time so I said this might be worth a shot.
So I called their office to make an appointment, and we scheduled an appointment when it was fitting for my parents and I to be here at the same time because they are Spanish speakers.
Ron came out at the time we made an appointment to my parents house.
That day he even called us when he was on the way (which is a big plus).
When he walked in, he came in with a roller bag, But let me tell you he was prepared with all the samples on everything we wanted to see plus more!
We started talking about all the work and he asked me to translate to my parents so they could understand the work and what is being discussed .
He suggested what work had priority, he even educated my parents and I on all the products.
With El Nino on the way my parents and I said that the roof had to be done.
Ron gave us a reasonable price with, some hassle but that’s all part of the game! He even gave us a senior discount due to my parents age.
We shopped around a little bit before and he was the most reasonable and professional.
When we were doing the work, Ron and his crew kept everything organized on time and with daily supervision.
When they finished the Roof they even walked around with a magnet to pick up all the lose nails… Now that’s detail!!!
After all we decided to do some more work such as bathroom remodeling, flooring, Ext/​Int painting, replacing doors, electrical work, gutters, facial boards, stucco repair, and converting a closet into another full bathroom, Which added a lot of value to our home.
Ron and his Project manager Gal where there at all times, anything that needed to be fixed was fixed no hassle very pleasing to work with. They even changed a few tiles that were crooked with out me saying a word.
I already recommend Professional Builders to my neighbors, friends and family.
Their name lives up to their reputation.

My husband and I were looking to do a full remodel for a while. Then we found professional builders’ flyer on our front door!
We called the 800 number and spoke to Art who was very courteous and then he gave us a rundown of who will be coming to our house.
The next day Aslan came to my house, he sat with us explained the full scope of the job and made us feel comfortable, he was not one of those pushy sales reps that try to pressure you he was very knowledgeable aswell.
After the meeting was over my husband and I spoke about all the details and checked the prices, for the scope of the work and the amount of detail we got a great price after shopping around. So after doing our research we ended up calling Aslan back to sign a contract a few days later.
After we came to an agreement 4 – 5 days later we started the exterior work, at that time we met Gal the project manager who was always on time and always was here to answer any questions that were necessary. At a point we also met the owner Ron who had some amazing knowledge and ideas to help us design the work.
Everything was done clean professional and quick, there was always someone to talk to regarding questions.
They even used a magnet to pick up all the nails after they finished the roof!
When it came down to the interior everything was covered so there wont be any dust, or paint splatter.
At the end of the job there were a few little issues that when we called Aslan and Gal were handled right away.
I would highly recomend Professional Builders to anyone who asks, great work, detailed, very nice and easy to deal with and on time and trustworthy!

I wish I could give a no star. I called these guys the first time and whoever answered the phone was less than knowledgable about this business and what the company does. Then someone called me back and scheduled the appointment. They had to flake on the appointment and again someone called me back to tell me this offered a discount and said «we will call back next week to schedule a new appointment» never received a call back. I called back again and had to leave another message and never got a call back. It must be nice to be that busy. I will never call these guys again and I suggest you don’t waste your time either
In response to your response. I have to say that you are lying about stating anything mentioning that at all. Please don’t try to state anything that is not true. People are reading this and it’s bad for your business. Next just tell me your aren’t interested instead of making me think you were actually going to call me back and reschedule our appointment Good luck to you and your future in this business I will not be calling you EVER again and I warn people reading this as well. Was looking to do some work for my parent’s house and contacted these guys for an estimate on the weekend. It seemed pretty painless initially but as the day finally arrived, they were adamant that I be there (this estimate was for my parent’s house, my dad was going to meet up with the estimator) and had the audacity to question if my father who was going to be there was going to understand English. I understand this is a business and it takes time to do estimates but as a business you also need to understand that customer service should be your number one objective (especially if you haven’t sealed the deal yet). After calling me 2 more times to confirm if I was going to be there, they said they would call me back but they never did. My father was waiting for them for an hour. Piss poor customer service mixed in with incompetent employees.
I think you are better off picking up some guys at the local home depot and taking your chances with that. I doubt those guys will care if you speak english or not.

My apologies to Jonescarp, MD, Sh E, and scott, just a few. I should have done more research before hired this Ron guy. You guys are so true about him. Over price, quality work– sux, unable to deliver on time (1 week late). He hire sub contractors (guys with gold teeth and speaks no english) and on top of that cheap materials.

Having come late in the game to help my parents make decisions about getting their roof done, I was pleasantly surprised that Ron took the time to sit down with me to go over, not only all the details of what needed to be done but also agreed to give my parents a considerable discount due to the fact that they were elderly and my father was a disabled veteran. To me this shows that Professional Builders really do care about their clients and seek a fair middle ground to keep everyone happy.

The salesrep, Ron, was very helpful and knowledgable when it came to looking into fixing up the old bathroom. The girl wanted a new tub, and I wanted a double sink since she takes up A LOT of space. We got a great deal, and better yet, a shinny new bathroom!
They contractor cleaned everything up and they were in and out in less than a week!
I did 4 starts because I’m infamous for giving people 5 stars. Don’t take it personal.

If you are looking for a beautiful Paint job and great customer service, then look no further. I called Professional builders, and they came out and took measurements and a week later our our exterior of are home looked brand new.
We feel like we are in a new house. We even had to drive by our house from a different direction to admire the new look.
They cleaned was wonderful. .
I was so thankful to find such a quality contractor.

Great job by Asi and Ron! Since both my husband and me are not really crafty, we needed some help replacing outdated, drafty windows at our place.
The price we were quoted on was fair and the selection process was a breeze since Asi came with samples and a load of specs-​related paperwork.
So far we had no problems whatsoever and our energy bills went down somewhat significantly, not to mention the overall appearance. We are more than satisfied.

Ron has been an acquaintance of mine for a while now so I hired Professional Builders to take care of drafty windows on my apartment.
Everything was done properly and very fast. There was no mess whatsoever.
I was happy with the price from the first quote and thanks god didn’t need to haggle.
Was given a contract, signed it and had the windows replaced with the ones Ron showed me. The windows themselves seem to be very high quality and look expensive and hi-​end. Didn’t have any problems with them yet and it’s been more than a month since I had them installed (plus the exceptionally rainy last week of February). No leaks, no draft, no drama.

The phone support guy at the ‘corporate’ number is condescending… unwilling to help… quality of work is definitely nothing to write home about… this does not make any logical sense because this company is slow and desperate for work… wonder why
now the harassing phone calls begin from Ron’s henchmen 323−493−9350. 2 so far and counting

Do not contact me any further… no more calls (totally too many) be aware of posted signs on peoples property… any further contact from your company Ron and/​or your employees… will be handled professionally through government agencies… including police department… Please stop you lies harrassment lies and disrespect… learn your craft…
GLAD TO LEARN I AM NOT ONLY ONE WHO HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY THIS LOW END COMPANY… OF COURSE I WILL GLADLY HELP/​DISCUSS MY INTERACTIONS WITH THIS LOW END COMPANY ANY TIME!!! nOTHING WOULD MAKE ME HAPPIER!

We did NOT hire this company for our home project for these reasons.
1. Exorbitant Quote! The quote they gave us was double the amount from an equal competitor.
2. Typical salesman tactics. The guys they send out to quote jobs are well versed in sales tactics. 1.) Build relationships 2.) Schmooze 3) Use subtle tactics to know where clients stand financially 4) Quote based on what they think the client will pay NOT what the fair market value would be for the job .
3. Inefficient — the free quote took over 2.5 hours and from the three projects we asked about we were only quoted for one of them.
4. Unfair– Apparently they offer two types of pricing. The regular quote (the price gouge) and the «Special Advertising Price» if they are allowed to put up a sign in our yard to promote more business of which they can cut the quote «maybe in half».
Bottom line: These guys are looking for «the next sucker» to do work on your home project, educate yourself on the going rate for your home project, get other quotes and go with another company instead.

I have a do not call block on my cell phone for soliciting. These people call me constantly, usually interrupting my life. they use this number 323−900−5922.
they need to get popped and i see plenty of people online who would like to do so.
i would never imagine any truth from people who make calls to listed do not call numbers.

I have never written a Unilocal review before but this encounter warranted one. OMG we dodged a bullet. We just wanted the free estimate that was advertised on their glossy flyer. The meeting started out nice enough until the sexist remarks began to fly, which I overlooked at first but raised a red flag. The moment we said we were not going to sign anything today but wanted to get another quote, Ron’s mere sexist comments turned into insults, bullying and extortion. Not only was he incredibly rude but worst of all we had endure stories and pictures of his newly acquired $ 135,000 Maserati, which interestingly he was insulted that the sales person dared ask him for proper credentials prior to a test drive. Beware, no one is to question the great and powerful Ron. Don’t even bother with these guys.

Horrible. Charged tax on the whole job. Did not honor discount from his flyer. Was double the price of other comparable contractors. Charged more than original quote ($ 500)for someone to verify I had a load bearing wall. Then accused me of trying to screw him out of money when I questioned him. Never ever again. Beware! My mistake in trusting Ron. Don’t make the same mistake.
