My kitchen remodel was just completed a couple days ago. I must say that I’m quite impressed by this company. I’ve heard so many horror stories about contractors and was so worried to put our home into the wrong hands. I’ve done a lot of research and read a lot of reviews in order to find the right company, and I’m happy to say that We didn’t fall victim to the wrong contractor. Pristine Construction has shown professionalism and integrity with a great eye for design. From the beginning, I explained that my kitchen needed to be fully remodeled by the beginning of February because we were celebrating a family wedding in our home. He assured us that without question, the job would be completed on time even if he had to work overtime. Well, my kitchen came out absolutely beautiful and almost 2 weeks before my event. We couldn’t have asked for a better company to take on our remodeling job. No question we will use them next time we’re ready.

Thank you, thank you, thank you very much. It is hard to find the words to properly compliment both Nathan and Mike on how happy and satisfied I am on the re-​modeling of my home. The project included the complete re-​modeling of the kitchen and two bathrooms down to the studs, and the painting of several areas of the house, as well as installing LED lights throughout the house. It also involved the upgrading of the electrical meter and replacing the water heater.
The project started November 3^rd and finished on January 7^th. The project ran on time and exactly as expected. Both Nathan and Mike were on site numerous times every day. The crew showed up every day, on time, ready to work. Anywhere from three to seven people were here working every day. The house was cleaned by the crew daily, before they left so there was as little an inconvenience to us as possible.
My work schedule allows me to come in and out of the house often during the day. Each time, each worker was diligently working throughout the house. I was truly worry free and completely at ease having them bring my home in to the 21^st century. Mike, co-​owner of Pristine Construction, is meticulous at every detail throughout the entire project. He is a true perfectionist. His knowledge of building code and getting the job done right is every customer’s dream. This is complemented by Nathan’s ability to coordinate the esthetics of the project. Nathan assisted us in picking out counter tops and tile, as well as suggesting colors of paint. Nathan is fully committed to spending as much time with you as necessary to layout, design and to improve upon your vision and make it a reality.
Pristine is a first class company which puts the client first. In looking back at what we had them do, there is absolutely nothing that we would change. You will lose no sleep when they are in charge of the project. I have already given three people their information.

I am writing this after having completed a second home project with Nathan and Pristine Construction. Our friends referred Nathan and Pristine Construction to us after they worked with him on a remodel of their home and had a great experience.
We first worked with Nathan a few years ago on our first project, a home renovation with every room in our home being redone. We replaced all the windows and doors in the house and installed a large sliding door to the backyard including new patio doors. Repaint of the entire home and installed a new gas fireplace. About three months later everything turned out just the way we wanted and it was one of the most pleasant home construction project experiences.
When it came time to for our second project a complete re-​roof of the house down to the frame and repairs to the home from water damage Nathan was our only choice for this type of project. After a week we had a beautiful new roof and another pleasant remodel.
Along the way we had a few minor changes orders but things we added at our request. Nathan is very patient and discussed with us different ideas, giving us his opinions and advice to give us the best results so that we would not make any bad decisions.
Overall we had a terrific experience working the Nathan, Mike and everyone who works at Pristine Construction. They crew are all punctual and all hardworking getting things done. They exceeded our expectations on both projects and we definitely would recommend others to them without any hesitation.

Our remodel was completed yesterday, ⁹⁄₂₄. We started Tuesday ⁸⁄₁₁. i think it’s a new record — a little over 5 weeks for a massive remodel of our kitchen, guest bathroom and all new floors throughout the house.
We met Nathan and Pristine a few years ago, when we were looking to remodel our master bathroom. Pristine was (is) one of the highest recommended contractors on Angieslist, and we included him in our bidding and review process. he won us over, and several weeks later we had a fantastic new master bath, and the most pleasant home construction project we had ever been through behind us.
When the time came to remodel the rest of the house, Nathan was our one and only choice. A remodel of this size is not a small undertaking, and not something you consider lightly. We actually debated for more than a year, weighing options and costs, and Nathan patiently would work with us, sitting at our old kitchen table, discussing options and giving opinions on how to get the best result. With Nathan and Pristine in charge you really have a great partner by your side, helping avoid bad decisions (tell me, how many kitchen remodels do you do a year? Nathan does a ton, and has so much good advice!).
The remodel started at 8AM on 8/​11, as promised. The crew showed up every day, on time, ready to work. I would often stop by unannounced, and the crew was always hard at work, no distractions, getting it done. Mike was our project manager, and kept the day to day flow of work well in hand. His crew was immensely helpful in working around us, as we stayed in the house during the remodel. They would help us carry heavy items, and they made sure our living space was untouched and protected from the construction as much as possible.
Final polish is now complete, and the house looks amazing. We essentially have a whole new house. Nothing was untouched. New kitchen, custom cabinets, new appliances, walnut floors throughout, new guest bath (was gutted), all new lights (LED), paint on all the walls, new baseboard, you name it. It looks stunning. Hard to believe it’s the same house actually.
Nathan, Mike and Pristine are as good as it gets. The original timing estimate was 3 months — they beat it by almost 2 months. There were days that a crew of 8 or more was in the house at once, all working on different items. That’s unusual, so don’t let that be your expectation, but do expect Nathan to over-​deliver every time. We incurred a few change orders, but all of those were items that we chose to add or change. All told that ended up being pretty minor. Pristine is not the least expensive option, but do you really want the lowest bidder doing this work to your house? Or do you want the right crew, with the vision, the creative chops, the construction chops to get this done perfectly? I can’t say enough good things about them. If you have a medium to large home remodel project, and you want it done right, they’re the best choice you can make.

My husband and I hired Pristine Construction to remodel our 3^rd bathroom, which will become our first baby’s bathroom this December. Their workmanship, professionalism, and especially their attention to detail are what truly set them apart from other companies we have worked with. We met first with Nathan to explain our project, and he was happy to come meet us during the evening when my husband would be home from work. Knowing their reputation for such high-​quality work, and that we would be such a small project for them, we were concerned that we wouldn’t be able to afford to go with Pristine. Luckily, we were wrong. Nathan gave us an estimate that evening before he left that we felt was very reasonable, and that was even a little bit lower than what the other company we met with (and didn’t like as much) had proposed. I called him the next day to sign the contract, and we were off and running. Nathan went to a kitchen and bath store with me to help look at fixtures and make recommendations, so that I wouldn’t be so overwhelmed by the options. He was also available by text or phone whenever I had a big or small question about materials or process, and I never had a hard time getting a hold of him, even though I knew he was working on other jobs at the time. The night before the work started, Shelly from the office called to tell me when the dumpster and porta-​potty would arrive and exactly what to expect when the workers showed up. She continued to check in with me through the length of the project to make sure I was happy with the work and see if I had any questions or concerns. On the first day of work, the guys made sure that any floors they would work or walk on were well-​covered and put extra effort into tightly covering my piano with plastic, because I was worried about the dust from the remodel. Mike was the lead Project Manager on our job, and he was very helpful and patient in explaining the process and answering any questions I had. I never felt stupid asking him a question, and always felt like he was ‘looking out for me’ and making sure that everything was done as well as he would want it done in his own home. That is really what impressed me about Pristine — they never cut any corners or took the easy way out — they really had a lot of pride in their work and did everything how it SHOULD be done, even if it took a little extra time or effort. For instance, we had chosen circular bubble accent tile, and rather than just cutting a straight line down the circles to made a 10″ strip, Mike had our tile guy meticulously pull the small circles from one section of the accent and fill in gaps with these smaller pieces, so that our accent stripe is made up of perfectly-​placed circles rather than randomly cut semi-​circles. The tile guy also spent an hour with me figuring out the ideal arrangement of our shower tile so that the wavy pattern would not only look seamless across the wall, but that there wouldn’t be any awkwardly thin pieces above or below the window or at the top or bottom of the shower — all while minimizing the number of pieces we would need to buy. When we had delays in receiving some of the finishing materials I had ordered, I was worried because I knew Pristine had other jobs to do and probably wanted to finish ours up on time, get paid and move on. But Nathan and Mike said it was no big deal, they finished what they could, then came back for the last day of installation once our remaining items had arrived. They even did little ‘extras’ for us — such as hang our ceiling fans in other rooms, install and re-​wire smoke detectors, and fix our leaking bathtub drain (the bathtub was the one original thing we kept — so the leak wasn’t their fault, but Mike came back after the job was over to fix it anyway). I’m sure most companies would have nickel-​and-​dimed us for such add-​ons, but Pristine did it all as part of their commitment to excellent customer service. When the job was done, the men thoroughly cleaned up after themselves and left everything just as ‘pristine’ as they had found it — so they have definitely earned their name! We will not hesitate to call Nathan again for any future work we need done at our home.

We’ve been in our house for 12 years and eventually planned to remodel the kitchen. As appliances and other things began to fail, we knew it was time to start but couldn’t find a contractor we trusted. My friend mentioned her remodel was going great, so I met with her contractor, Nathan Moses of Pristine Construction. It was the BEST day ever because we finally found a contractor we felt could work with us. We are pretty easy going but had been burned on other jobs so I was so happy to meet a contractor with such a great reputation and beautiful portfolio of work.
Nathan created an amazing plan for our remodel and we scheduled our start date. From day one, there was someone (and more often than not, multiple guys) working at our house. Every day! The guys were neat, incredibly respectful, kind and sweet. Every night, our house was left as clean as possible. Nathan or his partner, Mike, were at our house every day, always answering questions, taking notes and making sure everything was finished completely. They always made sure we were happy with the progress. The entire house was touched: full kitchen remodel, walls removed (requiring engineering), all new HVAC, 2 total bath remodels, all new floors, paint entire house, small room addition — a big job. Pristine finished all of that TWO MONTHS ahead of schedule. Our house is brand new!
Our remodel could not have gone any better, faster or turn out more beautiful. My husband says it’s like living in a resort. We pinch ourselves that this is our beautiful house!
If you have been holding off on your remodel, your search for an honest, reliable contractor is over. They aren’t cheap but you get what you pay for — our house is perfect and we never worried one day about our contractor. So, call Nathan at Pristine now. You will not be disappointed.

We had the countertops in our kitchen and the vanities in our master bathroom replaced. They did a great job on both. They were quick and very neat. We were very please with both jobs. I would definitely use them again as they were reliable trustworthy and honest!

Pristine Construction is the best construction company I have ever worked with. They have done 2 major remodel jobs for me totaling over $ 140,000. They totally remodeled my kitchen, 2 bathrooms, bar, fireplace and other projects. Nathan & Mike are so professional and respectful and the price is very reasonable. «It’s like walking into a magazine» as stated by two different visitors to our newly remodeled home by Pristine Construction. Nathan and Mike, owners of Pristine Construction abide by the premise that your home is their home, as shown by their work ethics and end results. We had interviewed several contractors but we chose Pristine because of the initial interview that immediately gave us confidence that this company would take care of us in a timely and respectful manner. Due to a plumbing leak in our home, our hands were pushed to finally redo a portion of our home. Our project included, a total demolition of our kitchen, down to the studs, addition of a powder room, and an addition to the master bedroom of a master closet and master bathroom. It was a huge project! From the beginning, Nathan and Mike visited the sight every day and their sub-​contractors showed up on time and cleaned up before leaving. Whenever, we needed to contact Nathan or Mike, they always answered their phones. Their Office Manager, Shelley, called us, at least three times a week to check in with us. The personal touch does still exist! Nathan took us to his vendors to pick out plumbing fixtures, appliances, tile and windows and doors! The vendor’s products were top notch but budget friendly. On April 13, 2015, three months to the day of starting, our huge project was complete! We now have a stunning white kitchen anchored by engineered hardwood floors, gleaming glass backsplash, beautiful soapstone counter tops, a huge island and pantry. We have more storage than we know what to do with. The cabinets were personally made by a craftsman who knew how to handle our cove ceiling. The lighting in the kitchen is excellent and the under mount LED cabinet lights add such ambiance. Our master suite is a peaceful retreat with soft gray walls, a huge walk in closet with craftsman made cabinets and the bathroom, oh the bathroom! The floor is marble, counter tops and backsplash a stunning quartz, flanked by another craftsman made linen cabinet. The frameless shower is exquisite, with Grohe fixtures, glass tiles and a pebble floor meeting the custom built seat. A pocket door now encloses the toilet! The exterior stucco of our house was also redone due to our addition of new, energy efficient windows. Of course, we added many additional items to our original scope of work due to the fact that we saw the incredible work of Pristine Construction. As other reviewers have noted that Nathan and Mike become a part of your family, so it has been for us. We could not recommend Pristine Construction more. We will actually miss seeing them each day. Thank you Pristine Construction and all of the Sub-​Contractors for a job, more than well done!

Remodeled Kitchen and Bathroom and replaced carpet with hardwood through entire house. Removed load bearing wall and added door into garage with new steps. Replaced electrical panel and installed custom cabinets with soft close doors, drawers and pull outs.
I was very pleased with Pristine construction. They had an excellent eye for detail and filled in those extra pieces that you don’t think about until near the end of a project. They didn’t charge more for those extra finishing touches, but did charge for major changes to the project (as any contractor would do). We had to install new hardwood after we found out that the existing hardwood was damaged beyond repair.
The project finished right in the middle of the estimated time despite some hang-​ups due to missing items such as tile (supplier’s issue, not the contractors).

They’ve done it again! A perfect and glorious transformation of our second bathroom by Nathan and his folks at Pristine Construction! We had our master bath remodeled about a year ago with Pristine, and we were so thrilled with the results that we asked them to come back almost a year later to do our other bathroom. As we expected by our previous experience, they show up for all appointments on time to the minute. You could set your clock to their reliability. Always clean, always courteous, all the subs that that they work with are top pros at every stage. Both Nathan and Mike (his business partner) have come over late at night more than once to ease our neurotic turmoil about the choices we’d make along the way. They always set us straight when we need them to, and have steered us away from some bad choices as well. They know what they’re doing. Trust them. Don’t get me wrong.. . if you feel strongly about something, they’ll make suggestions to work with your ideas, but ultimately they promise to make it look great no matter what.
If you’re not happy with something, they’ll come back and fix it until it’s right. I was so comfortable with his crews that I just turned over my keys and let them come and go as they please without even needing to be there. The remodeling business is notoriously stressful so if you’re looking for a stress free, low-​pressure experience, Nathan is your man! I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again.. . I’d let them raise my children! Now how many contractors can you say THAT about?

We did a huge remodel that almost doubled the size of our house. I am cheap and Pristine was not the cheapest. But I looked at the work they have done and decided I would pay more to get better craftsmanship so I would not have to worry. It was worth it. They are a great value because they do great work. Nathan and Mike worked in a way that allowed us to stay in the house for nearly the entire 5 months of renovation. And on that note, they actually got done ON TIME and ON BUDGET. No renovation is perfect but I am giving 5 stars because Pristine will make sure you are happy and deal with any issues that come up 2 years later I call them and they call back immediately to answer any questions I have. The best thing I can say is that you get PEACE OF MIND.

I originally contacted Nathan and Pristine based on a recommendation from close friends. The quality and attention to detail in the work that they have performed for us has definitely surpassed our hopes and expectations. Nathan and Mike were a pleasure to deal with and both were incredible in their suggestions and guidance throughout our project. They were always very responsive to our needs and if more information was needed, they provided it. They always returned phone calls immediately. Nathan came with us to help pick out the stone and tile and then again to pick out the hardware and lights. The ownership that these guys put into their projects is really undeniable. I would highly recommend Pristine Construction without reservations to anyone looking for construction services.

Update:
While we have not used Pristine for any more work (we have stopped remodeling for now!), i have asked on a couple occasions for them to come back to our house to tweak a few things and they have been gracious each and every time, months if not years after first completing the work. NOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We’ve used Pristine Construction twice and have been happy with both remodels. We originally got 3 bids for a master bath remodel. Nathan gave us a very detailed explanation of costs. His bid was right in the middle and seemed most realistic. Most impressive was Nathan’s accessibility. I called him a lot and he was patient with all of my questions and requests for revisions. His crew was excellent. Mike was on site every day and the subs worked non-​stop. They even completed the 1^st remodel ahead of schedule. We also had Nathan and his crew remodel our downstairs bathroom. We were hoping this was a simple and inexpensive job. Unfortunately, it wasn’t so I ended up buying all finishes to keep costs down (eg. tile, sink, toilet, tub, mirror and hardware). We were very happy with the outcome.
Pristine Constriction is not cheap. But, you get what you pay for. We will probably use them again when it’s time to remodel our kitchen. II highly recommend this company.

Construction started yesterday, so I will write an update when the work is completed. I called Pristine construction because of the stellar reviews on Angie’s list and from the first phone call I could see why they have the reviews they have. Nathan called me right back to set up an appointment. His bid was right in line with other bids that I had gotten so I hired him. I told him I would need help with design concept and picking out all materials, he said «that’s what I do». So after signing the contract we met a few days later to begin the shopping process. He had great ideas and really streamlined the process of picking out tiles, granite, and fixtures. The part I was dreading the most was actually fun. The first two days have been very smooth. Nathan and Mike have been checking in every day and updating me on what has been done and what will be done next. The crew has been very courteous and have been keeping the area as clean as possible. I am excited to see the end result! Update to come in a few weeks…

For a few years, we looked for another house to buy, and just couldn’t find one that we liked. We then decided to add on to our kitchen and stay in our existing home for a while longer (we’ve already been here for 20 years!). I had no idea who to call, what to do, so I went to Unilocal and found Pristine Construction because of the good reviews they had. I called for an appointment and Nathan came to see me a couple of days later. OMG!!! I thank my lucky stars I found this guy! We talked about the things I wanted in my new kitchen and he drew some rough plans. Nathan spent a total of approximately 10 hours with me without asking for a cent! I had two other bids where the guys told me I would have to buy a set of plans first, then we would design and price the job. Nathan showed me a 3-​D drawing on the computer (awesome!) and we both thought it was pretty great until he came over the next day and said he came up with a better idea! We decided on his «better idea» and made an appointment for a start date. Nathan told me it was a 3 month project and he was true to his word down to the day!
We started on 2÷16÷14, the crew showed up exactly on time and Nathan showed up too! Very unusual, I’m told, in this business! These guys were all «top of the line» craftsmen! Every single day I counted my blessings that I found this company.
Then down the road, Mike showed up! A true blessing in disguise! Nathan and Mike are partners and they make such a fabulous team. Nothing like I’ve ever seen before. They have a strict schedule and adhere to it down to the minute. I had to do nothing… they did everything!
By the way, we pushed our kitchen out 5−½ feet with all top of the line appliances, etc., etc., etc. Nathan was there every step of the way with the purchasing of appliances, tile, flooring and more. Anything you could think of, Nathan had a suggestion, which I almost always took! And then Mike stepped in with suggestions and I went with those too! These guys are perfectionists and every single little thing had to be right before they left each and every day. Yes… every single day… Nathan was here or Mike was here, or they were BOTH here. Again, I am thanking my lucky stars!!!
Midway through the kitchen remodel, we decided to tear down the fireplace in the family room and replace with mosaic tile, hang a new TV, etc. Nathan and Mike could not have been more accommodating. They immediately began that job and coordinated with the kitchen job, again, everything being finished at the same time and on time. (I can’t get over these guys!)
Our job went so smoothly I urge anyone looking for home improvement to hire these guys on the spot without interviewing anyone else. I can’t be any happier than I am right now! Everything was done to the highest caliber and I would honor any questions from anyone about my experience with Pristine. I, for sure, have the greatest kitchen in the San Fernando Valley with the real WOW! factor! I love, love, love it!
Not only was our job done to the highest of expectations, we actually made friends with Nathan and Mike and hope we can do some socializing together soon. They are two very wonderful men! I know we will have another job for them in the near future because I am so looking forward to working with them again!

I put off remodeling my kitchen for years, because I had no construction or design experience, and was intimidated at the prospect of tearing out an important part of my home and having construction done while I was living and working there.
I found Pristine Construction by its positive Angie’s List and Unilocal reviews, and when I met owner Nathan, he put me at ease about the process, and had some great ideas for making changes to the kitchen. Even though it wasn’t actually the lowest bid, I went with Pristine because they inspired my confidence.
The crew, all very friendly and polite, showed up right on time at 8:00 a.m. every morning, worked all day until about 5 or 6, and cleaned up after themselves every night. Mike or Nathan checked in every day to oversee the progress.
I also had them replace all of the wood flooring throughout the entire house, and, because I had to use my office and couldn’t stop work for too long, they managed to move everything out, replace the floor and baseboards, and move everything back into the room in a single day.
They tore the kitchen down to the studs and completely remodeled it, while I was working in another room at home most days. The work started right on time and finished right on schedule [in just 6 weeks] and on budget, and the kitchen looks fantastic. Even though I only had a limited galley-​shaped space to work with, my sleek, modern kitchen looks like something out of a magazine. I am happy and thrilled with my new kitchen, and it looks even better than I imagined it would.
