The food is fine, the service is absolutely atrocious. Barely paid attention to what I was ordering. Walked away just as I was about to order. Talked to each other instead of ringing me up. I mean, seriously? If you hate your job, work somewhere else.

So mad ! I was on my lunch and decided to go to panda. Worst decision. I ordered the walnut shrimp, green beans and chicken with chow mein like I usually get. First off they’re so stingy and charge extra for the walnut shrimp. second they are short staffed most of the time so you’re usually waiting more than you should. And LAST I was leaving with my food and decided to pick out of it before I didn’t have time on my lunch. when I opened it it wasn’t even the food I wanted :(I was so mad, I couldn’t even go back to tell them what happened since I had to get back to work. I checked my receipt and she charged me for that meal that I didn’t even want. I had called several times and No one answered or it was busy.

This review is for this specific Panda Express location only. Never a big fan of Americanized Chinese food but Panda Express as a whole has been decent. The food was usually on the salty/greasy side and the taste is just a tad off. However, I don’t think it’s that bad. This Panda Express is located in a very busy food court of the mall and it was lunchtime when I was there. I sat at a table near the counter with a woman at my left side. I found it strange that this lady and the cashier were talking to each other given the distance between the table and the establishment; they were talking in Spanish over everybody. And the conversation wasn’t short but constant. Eventually I realized why they were constantly communicating: the cashier underhandedly gave away food to this woman, who turned out to be her friend. Free food! This was wrong on all counts… it’s stealing. The container of food was of of three meal combo. The lady just sat there and ate; the cashier continued to work and acted as if nothing has happened. It was apparent that this wasn’t the first incident. Though I don’t think the food at Panda Express is bad but this behavior was a total turnoff. I wonder how long this has been going on.

This place is bad. I had lunch last week and I order rice, orange chicken and walnut shrimp witch it’s a 1.25 extra charge. While I was waiting to pay I saw two mens through the open door in the back sweeping the cabbage back to a plastic container I got curious and I got out of line to see where they would dump the cabbage and what I saw gross me OUT! They put the shredded cabbage in the walking cooler. Didn’t buy anything and I went next door to the Japanese place.

I went there earlier today for lunch. After I got my meal, I did ask for diet Pepsi and while she was filling the cup, I asked if she is giving me a diet Pepsi and I noticed she moved the cup over and I asked her again if that was Diet Pepsi. She lied to me and said ‘yes.’ even though part of the drink was regular Pepsi. Afterwards, I did check my blood sugar and it was way way up which confirmed that part of the drink she had given me was regular Pepsi. How stupid and dangerous for a diabetic person like me! What she should have done was discard what she had poured in error and refilled the cup with diet Pepsi.

The food is fine, when you get what you want, it’s USUALLY cooked up to par. The service is the reason they get only one star. The people that work behind the counter in the line are always all over the place. They never inform the cooks fast enough when something is run out so EVERYSINGLETIME I’ve ever come here they are out of what I want and I have to wait with 10 other people for orange chicken or chow mien. If you come 15 min before they close they will make a huge deal by trying to make you feel extremely uncomfortable and roll their eyes and literally hurry you out of there. It has happened to me once and another time I heard the lady tell a customer that he can’t eat inside because they were closed and they still had 16 min until closing! They are doing this donation promotion that is going on where you can donate money to some organization and I saw the cashier pocket some ladies money, when she came back and wanted some change, the cashier took it out of her pocket! What the !? Service is almost always slow and they are so stingy they will never give you more than one packet of soy sauce. Worst part is the line that is always around the store because of their lack of organization.

Hello for those who want to eat here. First of all why to go plates got smaller? Went there with friends we all ordered half and half chow mien and rice. Orange chicken and mushroom chicken. Orange chicken were the size of golf ball half cooked half row. For mushroom chicken I got 3 sliced mushrooms and 5 small chicken pieces. When I asked to have some more I got 2 more sliced mushrooms. Worst Panda Express in area I’m not kidding. I bet even Panda won’t eat this kind of food. Thanks for reading and choose a different place to eat.

I was going to give them 2 stars because they’re just average and not really my go to place for Chinese food but after tonight I’m VERY pleased with an employee Named Adam. He was so nice and curtious to my son and I. 2 of the items I ordered were not ready and the 3rd looked like it had been sitting a while so he had a fresh batch made so it would be fresh. He also didn’t serve the plates till all of them were ready to keep the items warm for us. He was just over the top great at customer service and I FULLY appreciate him… I wouldn’t have given this place 4 stars without his service! By the way I have no clue who this guy is either, he just happened to make my night memorable. If he reads this my son was the one with no hair… He will remember us by that I gaurantee! Thank you again Adam!

I usually eat here when I come to the mall. I really like it. I always order my food to go since they give you more food. If not the portions are ok size. Employees are always nice. They have the same food as any other Panda Express. So no surprises.

There are quite a few choices for food at this food court. I opted for Panda Express because my niece likes Chinese food. The best thing about this place are the steamed veggies and brown fried rice. The Orange chicken and sweet chicken. They were dry and mostly breading. I won’t be eating here again.

I had to change my previous rating. This place is awesome. At first I was served a very small amount of beef and lots of vegetables. I asked the girl to add more beef and less vegetables, she just gave me a little more meat on the side. Great customer service

Panda Express is the American version of what is Chinese Food. There are other places around(LOTS of other places) that well give you authentic Chinese food. But for all purposes here, this reflects the Panda Express in the Westfield Sherman Oaks Mall. This food court staple in particular is fairly clean behind the counter and is efficient, especially when the rush is creating a long line. What I like about this place is that so far whenever I go to get a quick meal, the food here is fresh and doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting too long under the heat lamps. The food tastes good, on par with what an Americanized Chinese Food chain should be. Nothing to write home about, but can definitely satisfy my orange chicken craving if I happen to be here. Usually I’d do to some place that’s next to Panda Express in the food court(see my reviews). Overall, Panda Express is standard fast food that is good to go any time.

The food is on par with other locations, and I understand this location is in a busy food court, but I felt that the employees were just scatter brained not really sure about what to do & what orders went with what person. They just wanted to get people in and out and service suffered because of it.

Panda Express is a Chinese fast food chain. Their food is generally fresh and the various locations in the mall food courts are generally clean. However, as a Chinese American, I wouldn’t go as far as calling Panda Express real Chinese food. The chain serves Americanize Chinese food, which can be enjoyed as a different type of cousin by itself. The flavor is Ok and somewhat superficial like most Chinese restaurants in neighborhoods that do not have a large Chinese population. It’s not authentic, but it is convenient and good enough for emergency Chinese food craving. But don’t expect anything more than that.

Bad food, rushed service and TOOFREAKINGLOUD!!! I hate eating in this mall. It’s more enjoyable to eat Tic-Tacs in the parking lot in the direct sunlight. The food at Panda is never good. It’s like the McDonalds of Chinese food. We have never had good food at this location. I wish the Chinese people would stand up in protest of this horrible testament of their food. Save your money and eat at Subway because if you’re going to eat bad food, you might want to pick something cheaper and has a less probability of heartburn. Buy some Tic-Tacs

Quick meal with a short line when I needed a speedy lunch at the mall. Panda Express is the same no matter where you eat it. Salty and processed fast food that fills you up when you will eat nearly anything. It’s better than the Japanese«grill» next door. I got the Panda Bowl with steamed veggies and mushroom chicken to eat something marginally healthy. ;)
