History

Established in 2005.

After years of helping my friends and family get organized, manage their time more efficiently, set up their filing systems and tame their email from crashing the server, I founded Operation Organization. To date, Operation Organization has serviced hundreds of homes and business in California.

Katrina T.

Business Owner

With a background in customer service and a work ethic instilled in her at a young age by her father, Katrina grew up having a fascination with everything efficient and organized. The California State University Alum, planted her roots in LA after college. After managing a successful hair salon and production company, Katrina began her organizing firm. Her client list includes A-​list celebrities and pro athletes as well as executives from Fortune 500 companies such as Cisco Systems.

Her staff’s honesty, «can do» attitude and attention to detail is what has made Operation Organization stand out from the competition.

Katrina is an active member of the business community, serving in a leadership role with the Encino chapter of Business Networking International. In addition, Operation Organization is a member of the Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce, NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) and is «A» rated by the Better Business Bureau.

Operation Organization changed my life! I always knew I didn’t have a natural knack for organization (and so envied those in my life who did), but it became clear after having two children that it was crucial to adopt some of these tools. Katrina and her staff came in and helped me organize a closet for files and paperwork, but what I gained was so much more than a de-​cluttered space. What was most influential was the few one-​on-​one sessions I had with Katrina. We sat together at my computer and she studied the way my brain works and how I deal with emails and to do lists (or lack thereof) and my calendar. She gave me several tips and tricks and apps to help simplify and organize my day to day. She essentially helped to re-​train my brain! And I quickly discovered that this new way of life was directly connected to peace and harmony in my home and with my family. I can’t recommend Katrina and her team highly enough! I look forward to working with them again.

Katrina was the most un-​professional, un-​organized, and disappointing business owner that I have ever worked with. Her initial consultation had me feeling like I was selecting the best organizing service money could buy and when it came time for the actual work to begin it was a DISASTER from the moment her team set foot in my house.
She took weeks to do what another company did in 4 days. For a company that is supposed to help organize people she lacked that within her team and the way she runs her company. The team members she had at my house were pleasant, but she was an absolute MONSTER. She had no accuracy on her proposal, she didn’t follow through on anything that she promised, deadlines were missed, and the way she spoke to not only me, but her staff was disgusting. She speaks to her vendors and her staff so demeaning it makes you feel uncomfortable.
She has no desire to be customer service focused and even worse makes no efforts to make your project of any importance. Unless you are one of her «high end clients in Beverly Hills» she doesn’t care. My project was estimated to be over $ 7,000. She made it seem like she was doing me a favor to take the job. I can’t stress enough that It will be a HUGE mistake for you to go with Katrina and her company. You will regret it.
If you want a GREAT organizing service with efficiency, politeness, and a hard working team with reasonable prices call Dina at Organizing Concepts and Design. They are amazing and she comes in and makes sure you are 100% happy. She finishes faster than she predicts, she takes care of every detail you could think of, and creates a space that is functional and works for you.

She has an unwavering passion for improving environments and has been at it for a long time. This company is not only TOTALLY professional and trustworthy, but they do an awesome job! I wasn’t able to be home while 2 workers organized my entire storage area in my basement and I came home to a beautiful, spacious and easy to understand area that made me so very happy. There were a few questions they needed answers for but that part took like 5 minutes and then then finished up and left. I will ABSOLUTELY use them again for my kitchen, closets, baby room and whole house. They are fast and thorough and clearly beyond professional. Best service I have used in years. Highly recommend!

I hand’t cleaned my home office in about a year and a half and I realized that I didn’t really have the time or patience to get it done properly. I looiked them up online, they had good reviews. So I called Operation Organization and had them come in and do a complete overhaul of my files, books shelves, desk, everthing. I was too busy to supervise any of it so I just said, «Do your best.»
Two days later I walk into my office and I almost fell on the floor. It was a brand new office. It’s hard to describe the feeling, but I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders because I was no longer distracted by the constant clutter.
They walked me through where they had put everything. Helped me wade through the junk. I immediately hired them to do my garage.

Katrina and her team have worked with me to organize my kitchen, bath, two offices and two bedrooms. Recently, they helped me pack for my remodel.
Some unexpected things I really appreciated:
— No judgment! Going through personal «things» can feel invasive, but they have a very neutral, focused attitude, and just get in there and get it done.
— They are FAST! I stopped worrying about the cost when I saw how much was getting done.
— Their knowledge base of types of containers, techniques, apps, storage ideas, etc. is extremely helpful with problem solving and setting up a more organized lifestyle.
What I like most about Operation Organization is that they not only left my home clean and organized, they taught me numerous tips and skills to be able to do it myself. The feeling of improvement and clarity that came from learning how to organize my home properly made the cost feel reasonable. I will definitely hire them again.
